Lily giggled drunkenly as she and the girls, including Trixie, downed another shot. She had lost count of how many they had done previously during the night, all she knew right now was that she was very drunk and having a very good time at the bachelorette party Olivia had organised for her.
"To the beautiful bride." Olivia slurred, holding up her glass of champagne, toasting to her best friend.
The rest of the girls reached blindly for the closest glass of drink they could find and repeated Olivia's words.
"I'm so happy right now, you guys have no idea!" Lily shouted to them.
Olivia stood up and grinned turning the stereo up higher until music was blasting out of the speakers loudly and pulled the girls up. They all started jumping around to the disco tunes that Olivia had put on, tripping and stumbling over each other.
Lily latched onto Olivia, holding her hands tightly and pulled her closer. "Thank you so much!" She shouted over the music into her ear.
Olivia grinned and hugged her close still jumping around dancing "It's my job as your best friend to make sure you have the best send off ever!" She shouted back excitedly.
"Good thing the wedding isn't tomorrow, I'd be to hung-over to say the vows." Lily giggled.
Olivia laughed "Honey, after tonight, when the wedding rolls around next week, you'll still be hung-over."
Lily laughed and carried on dancing with her until Trixie stumbled over to them "Olivia, there's people at the door." She slurred.
Olivia smiled and let go of Lily basically throwing her over to Trixie so they could carry on dancing and skipped over to her apartment door. They had decided to host the party there since Lily and James were still in the process of moving into the little cottage they had finally found.
Olivia cracked open the door a little and raised her eyebrow and pouted her lips when she saw the four boys plus Trixie's boyfriend Elliot and her brother Leander. "Can I help you?" She slurred badly.
All six boys laughed and shook their heads at the shouts and music coming from the background, and turned back to Olivia who was still waiting for their answer. "We thought we'd come back and check on you lovely ladies and join in your fun." James told her, none of the boys anywhere near as drunk as the girls, since they'd mostly stayed in the one pub and played cards, with a few pints.
Olivia stepped out of the apartment and shut the door, cocking her head to the side. "You're not females?" She said and poked her boyfriend in the middle of his muscular chest.
Sirius raised an eyebrow "Nope definitely not, and you can vouch for that sweetheart." He winked at her and Olivia blushed and giggled, winking back badly, due to her drunken state.
"So can we come in?" James asked laughing.
Olivia tapped her finger against her lip, missing every so often. "What's the password?" She asked.
The guys all looked at each other trying not to laugh.
"Marauders?"
"Mischief managed?"
"I solemnly swear I am up to no good?"
"Quidditch?
They all started guessing the imaginary 'password' at the same time, all the while Olivia laughed and clapped her hands jumping about shaking her head "Nope, nope, nope, nope." She repeated over and over again.
Sirius grinned and leant forward whispering in her ear and from the blush that came over her face and the glazed look in her eyes, the others guessed that what he was saying was definitely not appropriate for their ears.
Sirius pulled back and looked at Olivia expectantly, who giggled "Okay then password accepted" She smiled badly winking again.
Leander screwed up his face "Dude I don't even know if I want to come into the flat you're getting your girlfriend and my baby sister to open for you, because you promised her sexual favours."
Sirius chuckled "It was either that or stand in the hallway for the rest of the night." He shrugged.
Olivia pointed her finger at her boyfriend and shook it "You better follow through!"
"Oh baby I definitely will." Sirius grinned, looking her up and down.
Leander cursed, hearing about his little sisters sex life was not something that was on his to do list. "Olivia just open the door!"
Olivia giggled and turned pushed the door and banged into it when it didn't open "Ow!" she yelled as she fell back into Frank who caught her.
Sirius chuckled and pulled out his key, passing it to her. "Try these baby." He said trying to cover his laugh.
Olivia glared playfully at him and unlocked the door after a few attempts of trying to get the key in the hole and swung the door open spreading her arms widely, indicating the flat "Welcome gentlemen... Ladies we have guests."
Alice squealed and ran over to her husband jumping up, wrapping her legs around his waist and kissed him soundly. The rest of the girls followed her lead, fawning over their boys, leaving Leander watching them laughing.
"You should get yourself a girl and you could join in." Trixie told her brother, hanging off of Elliot's neck.
Leander grinned "I'm fine thanks."
"That's just because you're a man-whore and like being free to sleep around." Olivia pointed out.
Leander went to argue and then shrugged "Eh I guess you're right about that."
Olivia shook her head "You're basically just like Sirius!"
"Well how I was." Sirius pointed out and Olivia nodded.
Leander rolled his eyes and grabbed a beer "So let's carry on with this party then." He smiled turning the music up even louder.
Trixie danced with her sister and pulled her close "We'll be doing this for you soon." She giggled.
Olivia blushed a little then shook her head as she looked over at Elliot "Nope, I think you'll be next."
Trixie followed her sister's gaze and locked eyes with her boyfriend and smiled "I really hope so." She smiled happily.
Olivia hugged her hard "He's so ready to burst with how much he wants to marry you." She sung to her sister childishly.
Trixie laughed loudly and threw her head back and spun around "I love him so much!" She shouted and hugged her sister hard, kissing her cheek before going over to Elliot and dropped onto his lap, kissing him hard.
Sirius smiled as he watched James lead Lily out of the flat, it was three in the morning and they were the last two to leave and he smiled thinking about what a great night it had been. He shut the door and went back into the living room, leaning against the door frame as he watched Olivia still singing quietly to herself, laying on the floor with her legs up on the sofa.
Olivia turned her head to him, focusing her slightly bloodshot eyes on his and smiled sweetly, sitting up quickly.
Sirius smiled back at her and walked over "You ready to go to bed baby."
Olivia smiled again and went to speak but stopped and her hand went to her belly, before she paled and quickly stood up and ran to the bathroom.
Sirius followed quickly and held her hair and rubbed her back as she threw up the alcohol she had consumed. "That's it baby, get it all up." He encouraged as she threw up again.
Olivia groaned when she was finally done and rested her hot cheek against the cool tile walls, exhausted.
Sirius made sure she was okay for a second before getting up and retrieved a cool pint of water for her to drink. He helped her sip the water then set it down on her bedside table before picking her up gently and laying her down in bed, where she fell asleep immediately .
Sirius smiled and stripped down to his underwear and climbed into bed next to her, smiling contentedly as she rolled over and lay sprawled across his chest. It made him happy that even in her sleep she was drawn to him. He kissed her head gently and leant over switching off the bedside light, before wrapping her in his arms and drifted off himself.
Lily smiled nervously as Olivia stood behind her straightening out the train of her beautiful wedding dress.
Olivia looked up at her, in her stunning emerald green strapless bridesmaid dress "You okay?" She asked her.
Lily smiled and nodded her head "I'm more nervous about tripping and falling on my face" She laughed shakily.
Olivia grinned "Trust me Lil if anyone is going to fall and trip during their wedding, it's going to be me, hence why I'm going to wear converse on my wedding day." She smiled triumphantly.
Lily laughed and shook her head "Whatever crazy girl, now get your ass in line maid of honour and make sure Sirius wipes up any drool that falls on the aisle when he sees you." She put on a playful stern voice.
Olivia giggled and nodded kissing her on the cheek "I'm so proud of you Lils!" She whispered in her ear and pulled back. Lily was shocked to see the moisture there and thought after all this time Olivia would finally cry, but as soon as she saw her watery eyes, they were back to their normal, clear sapphire blue.
Olivia hugged her gently one last time and then got in line behind her other bridesmaids, which consisted of just Alice and Amy. She had offered her sisters to take part as a bridesmaid but Petunia had vehemently opposed the idea, not even bothering to show up to her 'freak' sister's wedding or even send a small gift of congratulations.
Lily shook off her bad thoughts, not wanting Petunia to ruin the best day of her life. She smiled brightly at her dad as he linked her arm through his.
"Are you ready baby girl? You're sure about this?" Her father asked gently, not unkindly.
Lily nodded excitedly "I'm ready daddy, I love him." She blushed, smiling.
Her father smiled proudly and leant down kissing her head "Then let's go." He whispered and started walking down the aisle with her, once the bridesmaids were in place.
James stood at the top of the aisle with Sirius next to him as his best man and Frank and Remus as his groomsmen, also stood by him, behind Sirius.
Sirius clapped him on the shoulder "Ready mate?" he asked.
James nodded and tried sorting his untameable hair into some sense of order "So ready, I'm considering leaving, grabbing her and eloping, this is taking too long!" He groaned.
Sirius chuckled "She'll be here soon, you'll be married and then you lucky buggers are off the Caribbean for 2 weeks!"
James winked at him "Yep, I can't wait."
Both boys stopped talking when the first piece of music came over the speakers, signalling that the bridesmaids were coming down. Both of them turned along with the rest of the crowd smiling and taking pictures of the beautiful bridesmaids.
James chuckled when Sirius eyes widened and his mouth dropped open, when he saw Olivia come down the aisle. He nudged Sirius shoulder "You know, if you asked the question, she'd be the one coming down in white." James whispered to him, not seeing or hearing Sirius' reaction as the bridal march tune started and Lily walked through the door.
James' breath caught in his throat when he saw her. Her dress was white with and beaded bodice, which flowed out into a full length skirt, which the beads covered in flowery patterns. He looked up from her dress and locked his eyes on her stunning ones, which were glittering with unshed happy tears.
James didn't remember much of the ceremony, all he could remember was the feeling of Lily's father passing her small hand into his larger one, saying those two binding words, I do and finally laying a possessively, sweet kiss on his new wife's lips.
Lily was cuddled up to his side as they sat at the head table with their parents, listening to Sirius' best man speech, that was thoroughly embarrassing for James and hysterically funny for everyone else.
"But anyway, moving on from my fantastic humour... raise your glasses to a one in a million couple... James and Lily." Sirius smiled lifting his glass.
Everyone in the reception hall copied and repeated Sirius' toast, clapping at him when he finally took a bow and sat back down next to Olivia on the bridesmaid and groomsmen table. Olivia kissed his cheek smiled "Amazing Mr. Black!"
Sirius smiled and kissed her neck gently, holding her close. He watched James and Lily stand up and take their first dance as husband and wife, and thought back to what James had said at the aisle. He looked down at his beautiful girl, and could visualise in his mind, her wearing a white dress instead of the green one.
Olivia looked up at him and smiled "You okay handsome?" She asked, moving his hair out of his eyes.
Sirius smiled and heard the DJ announce other loved up couples were welcome to join in on the dance. He grabbed Olivia's hand and pulled her up "Dance with me." He told her pulling her out from her chair.
Olivia smiled and walked with him to the dance floor, wrapping her arms around his neck, swaying gently with him as she rested her head on his chest.
Sirius kept his arms around her and his mind kept imagining her in that white dress, and instead of James and Lily in the middle of the dance floor it was them.
"Liv..." He started but was interrupted by the DJ
"This one goes out to the beautiful bride and her stunning bridesmaids." He smiled and started playing Jessie's Girl.
Olivia giggled and quickly kissed his lips before she was pulled away by Amy, Alice and Lily, all of them dancing madly to their song.
Sirius smiled watching her then walked over to the bar where the guys had retreated to. "They're a bit crazy... and it's scary." He laughed.
"No what's scary is that none of them have had a drink yet and they're already that crazy." Frank chuckled.
They all murmured in agreement and turned when their girls voices got louder and they saw it was due to them stealing the DJ's microphone and all of them sang into it.
"Yep, lets definitely hide the alcohol from them." Remus told them, smiling nether the less.
Unfortunately for the boys Olivia had managed to find them some wine and their craziness ramped up a notch.
Sirius stood on the balcony of the reception hall and whistled while other clapped as they looked down to where James and Lily were getting in their getaway car, which was taking them to the airport for their honey moon.
"I'm so happy." Olivia smiled as she watched James and Lily drive away to their honeymoon.
Sirius tucked her under his arm and kissed her head "Me too baby."
Lily walked along the edge of the private beach of their villa, wearing James' shirt, and looked up at the crescent moon smiling happily, today had been the best of her life, and James had only made it better once they were in the privacy of their new home for the next two weeks.
Lily sighed happily and rolled James' sleeves up, since even at this time of night the air was still hot. She gasped when she felt arms go around her waist and then relaxed when she heard James chuckle.
"What are you doing out here?" He asked kissing her neck.
Lily smiled "I was too excited to sleep." She answered him.
James turned her in his arms so she was facing him. "You should have woken me up, I would have been more than happy to provide some entertainment to tire you out." He winked at her and Lily blushed, smiling.
"Are you sure that the Auror office is okay letting you take these two weeks off, you've only been working there for a little while." She said worried.
"It might have been a problem if Frank, Olivia and Sirius weren't there, but they offered to cover my shifts and patrols, so Moody had no problem with me going, even if he did grumble a bit." He smiled and kissed her head.
"We have good friends." Lily told him and James nodded.
"The best... and although I love them, I really do... I'd rather do something else right now instead of talking about them..." He whispered.
"What would that be Mr. Potter?" She asked playfully.
"Well Mrs. Potter, it's starts with you returning my shirt back to me." He grinned pulling it over her head."
"I think I'm going to like your idea..." Lily giggled.
"Yes baby, you most definitely will." He grinned wickedly, capturing her in his arms and kissed her senseless.
Olivia, Frank and Sirius were all sitting at their desks in the office they all shared, as well as James and were casually laughing and talking as they worked on their paperwork, about the recent deatheater attack, they had intervened in.
Moody raced into the office with his face completely serious and ready for acting "Deatheater attack in a small London muggle village I need three groups down their now, Black group 1, Collins group 2 and Longbottom your in group 3... Go now, stay with your teams do not disobey these orders." He said and left as quickly as he had arrived.
The three of them took out their wands and looked at each other "Be careful." Frank told them both and ran off to his group.
Sirius dragged Olivia to him and kissed her quickly "Come back to me... safe." He told her.
"Ditto." Olivia replied and both of them took off at a run to their team meeting points and aparated to their specified location.
Sirius was crouched down behind a pile of rubble that had once been some poor muggles house, and waited for his orders. When his leader finally made a move, he shot over the rubble firing spells at the deatheaters who were picking off the helpless muggles.
Out the corner of his eyes he saw the group Olivia was in sneak into a building that looked like a bell tower, he assumed they were going to the top to get a better vantage point. Obviously though the deatheaters had already claimed the spot as their own territory since he could now see the lights and sounds of spells through the smashed windows of the tower.
Sirius quickly turned firing a spell at a deatheater who was about to send a killing curse his way and produced rope form his wand after he knocked him out, binding him so he could be questioned and put on trial.
Sirius went back on alert and turned around then froze noticing that there were no deatheaters around anymore.
Frank walked over to him covered in dirt, and a bit of blood was on his shirt, but he seemed alright "Where did they go?" He asked.
"Aparated the lot of them... Bunch of cowards." Moody hissed.
The aurors on the ground turned when a large bang filled the air and saw the rood of the tower that group 2 was in crumble, dropping large bricks and debris onto those inside.
Sirius paled "OLIVIA!" He screamed and ran towards the building along with the other teams, to look for people to pull out.
"No no no." Sirius whispered to himself and Frank came up behind him.
"They're here!" Moody shouted from around the back of the building.
Sirius ran around and let out a relieved breath when he saw the group 2 standing just outside of a back door of the tower, a lot of injuries, but it looked like everyone had survived.
Sirius ran over to them and pulled Olivia up from where she was sitting on a rock, getting her breath back, into his arms holding her tightly "Are you okay?" He asked her worried and pushed her back in his arms to inspect her.
"Oh god baby.." He said worriedly as he inspected the deep cut on the side of her head that was leaking blood down the edge of her face and hairline.
"It's okay... I'm okay, head wounds bleed more than how serious they actually are." She told him and rested her cheek against his chest. "I'm okay." She whispered reassuring him again.
Sirius let out a sigh of relief "Do you need to go to the hospital?" He asked but she shook her head.
"No it doesn't need stitches, just some cold water and a few potions." She smiled gently at him.
Sirus wiped some of the blood from the edge of her cheek and felt sick at how close he had been to losing her.
Moody came over to them dismissing them, allowing them to go home and treat their injuries and they could take the rest of the day off and take care of the paperwork tomorrow.
Sirius made sure that Frank was okay, assured that he was by the fact that Frank was going to milk his tiny little injury in order to get some 'loving' off of Alice.
Sirius had been even more relieved when Olivia had laughed and told Sirius she expected the same thing from him.
He finally wrapped his arms around her tightly and aparated away, making sure to keep a tight grip around her waist.
Olivia held onto his bicep as they walked into their apartment and straight to the bathroom, where Sirius got down their emergency medical kit.
He sat her down on the edge of the bath and began taking anti-septic wipes out and gently swiped it across her cut.
Olivia sucked in a breath when it stung "Ow."
"Sorry baby." Sirius murmured but carried on cleaning the cut "You're right about not needing stitches but if this had been any deeper you would have."
Olivia smiled "Well lucky me then." She said and rested her hands on his shoulders while he worked.
Sirius finished cleaning the cut and gently leant her over the side of the bath and washed away the blood in her long curly hair. When had finished he, gently as possible, dried her hair with the towel then left it to dry naturally, while he gave her a potion for the head ache she was bound to have.
"I was so scared." She whispered, playing with her hands.
Sirius looked at her noticing that his normally brave girl, looked lost and afraid. He lifted her off the bath and sat on the floor, seating her in his lap "It's okay baby." He whispered to her.
"I thought I was never going to see you again." Olivia said biting her lip, looking up at him.
Sirius laid his forehead on hers "For a moment I did too." He told her "But your safe, your here in my arms , where you going to stay until we're old and wrinkly." He promised her, stroking the promise ring on her finger "Remember."
Olivia nodded and pressed a kissed to his lips, then dropped her gaze to the line of blood on his shirt. She shifted back and unbuttoned his shirt, throwing it to the side and grabbed the medical box, to tend to the cut across his chest.
She dabbed at it gently with the wipes to clean it then applied a scar reducing paste that absorbed into his skin immediately, closing the wound, leaving only a thin red line that would disappear in a few hours. She laid her hand over his chest and traced the line with her finger.
Sirius put his hands over hers and moved them so they were over his heart "I love you Olivia... with everything I have."
Olivia laid her forehead on his and closed her eyes "I love you too... so much."
Sirius held Olivia's hand over the table and ate with his other, while they played footsies under the table of the restaurant. They had decided to go out to dinner to celebrate what Olivia had deemed as 'Surviving the evil bastards once again.'
Olivia giggled as she dragged her foot further up his leg and Sirius grinned happy to see his beautiful strong girl back in place.
"Come on baby, play fair." He told her "You're just going to get us all hot a bothered and there's nothing I can do to help us here, in public."
Olivia winked "Well anticipation, I'm told is a great form of foreplay."
Sirius growled and kissed her hand, unconsciously his eyes looking down to her bare left ring finger, and he thought about the ring in the box in his pocket, then looked back to his girlfriend and finally looked around at all the waiters and other people.
Olivia traced random patterns on the back of Sirius' hand and looked up at him realising her had gone quiet "You okay?" She asked.
Sirius reached down into his pocket then pulled back abruptly and smiled, though it looked a little strained. "Fine. Are you ready to go?" He asked looking down at her empty plate that had previously held chocolate cake and whipped cream, which she had thoroughly enjoyed teasing him with.
"Yeah I'm good to go." She said and got out her purse.
Sirius snorted and pulled out his wallet and paid before she had the chance "I'm paying baby."
Olivia rolled her eyes "You possessive cave man... all me male I pay."
Sirius kissed her cheek and smiled "Now you're catching on." He winked as they walked out of the restaurant together. He draped his jacket around her shoulders, which were exposed with her dress that had teased him all night.
Olivia smiled gratefully at him and leant into him while they walked home.
As they entered their flat Olivia quickly kissed him and hung up his jacket "I'm just going to take a quick shower and I'll come and make up that teasing for you." She giggled before walking off to the shower.
Sirius smiled and waited for her to be out of sight before he slumped down on the sofa with his head in his hands "Come on Black, be a bloody man." He coached himself, and before he could talk himself out of it he snuck into the bathroom, getting what he needed.
Olivia turned off the shower and grabbed a towel wrapping it around herself and climbed out of the shower.
She rubbed the mirror, wiping away the condensation, making her realise just how long she'd been in the shower for, and wondered how Sirius was coping with the anticipation, which made her giggled.
She inspected her head in the mirror and smiled when she saw the cut hadn't split open or started bleeding again, which would save Sirius the worry of having to take care of her, although she knew that he wouldn't have minded.
She reached down to pick up her promise ring that she always took off before her shower, in case it slipped off and fell down the drain. However her fingers only met the cool marble of the counter. She looked down and her stomach dropped when she saw an empty space where ring should be.
She gasped and looked all over the counter before dropping to her knees to search the floor and underneath the counter "No no no no!" She cried out. "SIRIUS! My ring, help me! It's gone!" She yelled at him panicking and ran out of the bathroom in just her towel, her hair dripping water everywhere.
She ran into the room "Sirius don't just stand there help-" Olivia's feet froze as she looked around the room that was covered with candles and saw Sirius standing on the opposite side of the room holding a white rose in one hand and her ring in the other.
She watched him wordlessly as he walked towards her, and dropped a kiss on her forehead when he finally reached her.
"Olivia... I've gone over how to do this so many times, at James and Lily's wedding, at the restaurant hell if I'm honest I wanted to ask you this question since I gave you this ring the first time round." He chuckled, although a little nervously.
Olivia's breathing escalated and she found it impossible for her eyes to stray away from his, for any length of time.
"You are my best friend Liv and my beautiful girlfriend, but I want you to be so much more than that, so much more..." He trailed off and gently dropped down to one knee in front of her and took her left hand.
"Olivia Danielle Collins, I love you with everything I have, my whole heart and soul, will you please do me the honour of marrying me, becoming my wife and spending the rest of your life with me?" He asked, his gorgeous grey eyes never leaving hers.
Olivia held a hand to her mouth and watched him with so much love and adoration "Yes." She whispered and nodded. She dropped to her knees in front of him and repeated it again "Yes." She said louder and Sirius slammed his lips against hers, kissing her with everything her had. When they finally broke away, both breathless, Sirius beamed and slipped the ring onto her finger, only this time on her left rather than her right.
"Oh god Sirius!" Olivia whispered and wrapped her arms around his neck holding him close to her "I love you so so much, I'm never letting you go." She told him.
Sirius kissed her head and nuzzled her neck, before pulling back and looking down at her "I did buy you another ring, I don't want you to think I proposed with one you already had, because I couldn't be bothered to buy another, or didn't want to spend any money... That ring holds so much purpose to us, and I thought what better way to move forward in our promise then to use it to solidify our future together." He told her.
Olivia moved her fingers over his lips to quiet him. "I love it... I love you and I'm so happy right now." She whispered.
Sirius sighed happily and lifted her into his arms, stroking her hair, while Olivia wrapped her arms and legs around him. He took them to their bedroom and laid her down, laying over her.
Olivia looked up at him and pulled him close "You are mine forever."
"Baby you were mine the minute you said I love you too." He told her and kissed her with everything he had to give.
