Mina drew a sharp intake of breath as Blake's fingers brushed her sensitive ears and took hold of her by the chin, pulling her into a kiss. She returned the kiss, naturally, but was surprised further when Blake's tongue pressed its way passed her lips and she then forcefully pushed Mina down onto the bed. Mina ran her hands smoothly over Blake's body, taking her time to appreciate all of Blake's curves tactilely; she couldn't concentrate on her semblance right now… She let slip a little moan as Blake's tongue persisted over hers, only to be momentarily disappointed as Blake broke off the kiss to relieve Mina of first her blouse, and then her bra before her fingers began to slide down Mina's bare stomach as she pressed her lips back to Mina's. All the while Mina silently imploring her Dearest not to stop, begging for more as-

Thud.

Pain shot through Mina's head and neck as she struck the floor, awakening with a start. Cringing with the dull pain, she blinked a few times.

What…? She was initially vexed, but upon understanding what had happened, she couldn't but rolled her eyes with irritation, "And it was such an accommodating dream…"

Indeed, she was still very much clad in the shift that she'd put on before turning in for the night; it had been a dream. Blake's kiss, Blake's touch, Blake's assertion… all of it was a fantasy. What was not a fantasy however, was her heavy breathing, quickened heartbeat, the flushed sensation that she still had all over… and the weak knees that had caused her to fall from her resting position on the pull-up bar which was now mockingly bare over her head. Mina rolled her head a few times trying to work the pain out, but it was no good; she'd probably be sore for the rest of the day…

She sighed before simply curling up on the floor, "At least there are no classes this week…"

It was too early for her to remember that, while Beacon was indeed on spring break for the week, Team RWBY had planes with Team JNPR, courtesy of Miss Schnee…

Blake supposed that she should have expected this; Weiss was a Schnee, after all.

"I can't thank you enough for having us along Weiss!" Ruby enthused as their private airship landed at its destination, "This is awesome!"

"Don't flatter yourself," Weiss retorted, but Blake could see the little smile tugging at her lips; she'd clearly been looking forward to this too, "I wasn't about to spend my vacation week cooped up in that dorm, and I figured that I may as well take some guests,"

Weiss had invited Teams RWBY and JNPR to her family's private island for the week. Apparently the place was a fully furnished beach resort, but it didn't open for seasonal business for another couple of weeks. Thus, the nine of them would have the entire place, and the undivided attention of the staff, to themselves.

"We're gonna go swimming! We're gonna go swimming!" Nora cheered musically, "And then we can build sand castles, and dig a really big hole!"

Ren let out a sigh, clearly understanding that it would bee he who would have to be her chief enabler… poor guy… Still, he was smiling too.

What concerned Blake was that, among all of her friends, the only one that didn't seem at least somewhat excited was Mina. She seemed oddly tired and melancholic today. She had fed, and Blake had made sure to pack what she'd need for the week, so that wasn't it, but Mina had been the first one awake again this morning…

"Hey Mina, are you-,"

"You're gonna love the swimsuit we picked out for her Blake," Yang cut in with a wry grin, "I picked it myself, and it's a good one~,"

"Honestly Yang, hearing you say that worries me more than anything else…" Blake shook her head, turning back to Mina as the door opened for them to disembark from the airship, "Are you okay Mina? You don't have to come right out onto the beach if you don't want to… You can take a nap if you're-,"

"No! No, I…" Mina shook her head as if to rouse herself back to full consciousness, "I will be fine, and Miss Xiao Long is right; I would very much like you to see my swimsuit…" She finally managed a smile, "There will be plenty of time for sleep later…"

Blake sighed, still dubious, "Alright… But this is supposed to be a vacation, so don't push yourself, alright?"

"I am fine, Dearest," Mina insisted as they stepped down onto the air pad and headed to check in to the resort, "You need not concern yourself…"

She couldn't help it though, and even as they went up to the rooms, deposited their things, got changed, and headed down to the beach, Blake barely noticed, so preoccupied was she with it. She'd wanted to wait for Mina as she got changed, but Yang insisted that it was a surprise, so Blake found herself hastily ushered down to the beach by an enthusiastic Ruby, and lo did she find herself under a broad white beach umbrella with Weiss as she waited for Yang and Mina. Unable to concentrate on the book that she'd brought with her, she was left to simply watch the others as she waited.

Jaune and Pyrrha had gone straight for the surf, and thankfully the rumors about Jaune owning rubber-ducky pattered swim trunks appeared to be untrue; they were actually a nondescript blue, whereas Pyrrha wore a copper-red two-piece that was probably more modest than it needed to be. Ren, having resigned himself to his role with a slight smile, busied himself filling buckets with wet sand for Nora, who in turn set busily about the task of building her sand castle, her color scheme unchanged despite the change into her beachwear. Ruby had gone out to the water with Jaune and Pyrrha, and had wasted no time in provoking a splash fight. Blake couldn't help but chuckle at the sight; RWBY's fearless leader had opted for a bright red two piece with adorable little ruffles.

"What's funny?" Weiss asked, eyebrow raised under the brow of her sun-hat.

"Oh, uh… nothing…"

Weiss smirked, "You're losing your touch Blake; you're not all that hard to read anymore,"

Blake sighed, defeated, and then smiled, "Just look at Ruby; she can still be such a kid sometimes,"

Weiss smiled too, "The immature dolt… But better on vacation than on a mission I suppose…"

"What do you think Nora's excuse is?" Blake jibed.

"Ren just spoils her too much," Weiss replied, stretching out on her blanket, "But I suppose that's alright too…"

"Yeah, I suppose you're-,"

"Hey Blake~!"

As she turned her head to face the source of Yang's mischievously singsong voice, Blake's jaw fell open, "M-Mina?"

Yang had naturally chosen a yellow two-piece that aspired to compensate for the undue modesty of Pyrrha's swimsuit, but It was Mina that had Blake's attention. Mina wore a bikini top and a sarong that hung to just shy of her knees, and the whole ensemble was a nice light blue that matched her eyes.

"Do you…" Mina grabbed her left arm with her righty hand shyly, "not like it?"

Is she… embarrassed? She's never embarrassed! I've seen her-, Blake shook her head before she let her mind get off track, "N-no! It's beautiful! You're beautiful!" And there's definitely something about that neckline…

Mina beamed with relief, "Oh good-,"

"Told ya she'd love it," Yang gave her a good natured shove towards the blanket, and then reached down to pull a surprised Weiss to her feet, "Come on Princess; you're gonna enjoy the beach too, even if it kills you!"

"Wha-Yang!"

The Dust Heiress was powerless before the Brawler's brute strength though, and before she could make any real objections or threats she'd already been bundled off down the sandy slope towards the water. Blake would wonder later whether this was just another case of Yang being impulsive, or if it was some sort of scheme, but right now she had better things to think about as Mina sat down beside her in the shade of the umbrella.

"I'll have to thank Yang," Blake joked nervously, "She's… she's got an eye for this sort of thing…"

"Hmm?" Mina smiled, "I presume you mean the swimsuit? Yes, and it is quite comfortable as well. It is perhaps a pity that I cannot appreciate yours…"

"Maybe later," Blake leaned in to peck Mina on the cheek, "When things are less… public?"

"I would like that…"

It was the answer Blake wanted, but she couldn't shake the feeling that Mina was disappointed somehow, "Mina, did I do something? You seem… down…"

Mina shook her head vigorously in the negative, "No Dearest! It's nothing like that… I just… Well… I have never been terribly fond of the sun…"

It was true enough; Mina was prone to burn easily, but again, Blake could tell that wasn't what this was about, so she decided to call the bluff, "Alright; let me help you with the sunscreen then,"

"But should not the umbrella be sufficient?" Mina asked as Blake reached into the beach bag that Weiss had brought with them and produced the bottle, "You needn't-,"

"I want to," Blake insisted, squeezing a dollop of the sunblock into her palm, "Now give me one of your feet,"

Mina hesitated at first, but obeyed as Blake knew she would, "Very well…"

Blake started applying the lotion to Mina's foot, and moved up to her ankle, ant then her shin, calf, and knee before reaching for Mina's other leg and repeating the routine. It did not escape Blake's attention, though, that Mina seemed to tense at her touch.
"I can get my arms…" Mina offered weekly, reaching uncertainly for the bottle, though she wound up groping Blake's thigh instead, and swiftly recoiled, "I… I am sorry…"

Blake cocked her head, "It's alright Mina,"

"But you said that we had to wait until-,"

"Yes," Blake nodded patiently, "But it was a mistake, right?"

"Yes…"

Blake chuckled, clearly it had been a mistake, but a very… accommodating one, as Mina herself would have put it, "Then don't worry about it; now give me your arm,"

"But-,"

"Yeah, you could do it yourself, but wouldn't you prefer that I did it for you?"

"I… yes…" Mina admitted, seeming to relax a bit, as she offered Blake her right arm, "As long as you are offering…"

"I am," Nothing I'm not willing to give… I never thought she'd take it quite so far as to be afraid to ask though…

Blake set about slathering the lotion on Mina's arms, starting at the hands, and weaving the fingers of one hand into Mina's as she used the other to spread it up to Mina's shoulder as Mina squeezed her hand affectionately.

Mina reached for the bottle again as Blake finished with her other arm, but Blake shook her head, "None of that; lay down on your stomach, I'm gonna do your back now,"

"Very well," Blake didn't miss the smile on Mina's face as she turned and stretched out on the blanket, "Do be gentle though,"

"Oh shut up,"

Blake wasn't really angry though, and kneeling beside Mina, she set about the task afresh. She started with both hands just above the base of Mina's spine, then moved up to the small of her back, and down the sides of her stomach, as high as the base of her ribcage and as low as her hips. Blake moved her hands gently farther up Mina's back, taking her time to rub the lotion in thoroughly. Mina's skin just felt so good beneath her fingers; supple and smooth, rising and falling as Mina breathed in and out. Blake's heart fluttered a bit as she stopped for a moment to simply appreciate the sight laying there contented, her head resting on her crossed arms, her chest pressed against the ground beneath the blanket…

"Not that I am objecting Dearest…" there was a wry quality to Mina's voice as she spoke, but she didn't lift her head, instead simply smiling with satisfaction, her head in the crook of an elbow, "You are free, after all, to use me as you will, but… I seem to recall it was you who said that things were too public…"

Blake blinked a few times, and then realized where her hands had been… "Gah! I'm sorry-!"
"Why?" Mina asked lethargically, clearly enjoying the warmth of the sand beneath her, "Frankly Dearest, I was rather enjoying it…"

Remember Blake… The others are all on the beach too… She moved her hands to Mina's back again, just below the strap of her swimsuit this time, "I uh… got ahead of myself…"

Mina sighed with open disappointment, "So be it…"

Blake leaned back and wiped some sweat from her brow with her forearm before returning to her task, but this time, when her fingers came into contact with Mina's upper back, she visibly flinched.

"Mina?"

"It is nothing…"

Blake pressed her fingers into the muscles around Mina's shoulder blades more firmly this time, and Mina actually whimpered, "Mina… That's not 'nothing'… Why are you so tense?"

"I…" Mina seemed to search for her words very carefully, "I woke rather… abruptly this morning…"

"What do you mean?"

"I… fell…"

"You fell?" Blake repeated the obvious, dumbfounded, "How? You've never fallen in your sleep before,"

"I was having a very… vivid… dream…"

"A nightmare?" Blake asked with mounting concern.

Mina buried her face in the blanket, "Much the opposite actually…"

"The opposite…" Then Blake got it, and gave Mina a playful shove and spoke with mock indignation, "Oh my God! You were fantasizing about me in your dreams, weren't you!"

"…Yes…" Mina admitted.

"Must've been pretty good if you fell off your bar because of it," Blake muttered almost bitterly, "Come on, details,"

"Well…"

"Hey Blake, Mina!" The rather sensitive conversation was interrupted as Ruby bounded over to rifle through the beach bag for a n inflatable beach ball, "You guys should come on out to the water! The temperature's perfect!" and then as quickly as she'd come, she took off again with the ball, back towards Jaune, Pyrrha, Yang, and Weiss.

"Well then…" Blake sighed, "That totally killed the moment… Probably for the best though…" She shook her head, "Roll over, I still have to do your front,"

Mina did as she was told, but wore a massive smirk as she did so, "Forget what I said about being gentle; I can take it…"

Blake rolled her eyes, "Please just save that for later…"

"But-,"

"It's only a few more hours, and then we have a room all to ourselves tonight,"

"…"

Blake leaned in for a kiss, "I'll even let you feed on me,"

"Promise?"

"Of course," Blake smiled meaningfully, "I had a rather… vivid dream last night too…"

Mina's eyes widened, "Oh really? Just how vivid?"

"I'll just have to show you later…"

"I would like that very much…"

Abuthor's Note: Okay I freely admit that this was more of a fanservice fluff chapter than anything else, but I did try to make it somewhat telling of some of Mina's issues nonetheless. As always, you'll have to tell me how well I did. The next chapter or two will also be spring break, and I'm open to requests as to how they all spend it, though I do have a definite goal as to what I want to do with the characterization in that time. Anyway, I hope you enjoyed the chapte; see you next time.
