Chapter 81: Tattoos and Visions

Randy's POV

"Nate, what are you doing in here?" I ask with an eyebrow raised as I walk into my brother's room to find him lying on the ground in front of his bed with his eyes closed and his legs crossed Indian style.

"What does it look like I'm doing big brother?" he asks in return as he keeps his eyes perfectly shut. "I'm meditating right now."

"You are meditating . . ." I say as I hold back a small chuckle as I cross my arms over my chest. "Why?"

"The atmosphere and environment around us is soothing and comforting, so I'm trying to commune with it, just like how 'Manda does when she wants to get into a peaceful state of mind," Nate tells me with a smirk on his face. "You should try meditating for yourself sometime Randy. With your anger issues, you could really use some meditating in your life. I can give you some tips if you like."

"If I want meditating tips, I'll get it from my psychic fiancée and not you, my dimwitted little brother," I say with a shake of my head as I lean against the doorframe. "And speaking of my psychic fiancée, have you seen her anywhere? I haven't seen her since this morning after breakfast."

"Last time I saw her, she was heading for the sauna," Nate tells me with a shrug. Then his eyes popped open, just as a knowing smirk came across my face as I snuck a look at the sauna room door down the hall. "Randy, I know that look on your face."

"What look?" I ask in my most innocent voice possible as I watch him get up from the ground. "What look are you talking about little brother?"

"That look; the look that you have on your face right now," he tells me bluntly as he points to my face. "That's your 'I'm about to get some 'action'' face. This is the look you always have on your face when you realize that you have an opportunity to have sex with 'Manda this close to your lustful fingertips."

"Am I really that predictable?" I ask with a shake of my head. "Like . . . really?"

"I just said that you have a certain look that appears on your face every time you discover that you have an opportunity to get it on with your girl," Nate tells me with a shake of his head. "In my book, if you have a certain look that basically signals an action that you'll probably do, that shows just how predictable you can be."

"Looks like I'm going to have to work on my poker face even more so that I don't end up being predictable, again. . ." I say as I bring a hand to my chin. "Anyway, I better get my ass moving toward the sauna before Amanda has a chance to get out."

"Someone wants to go do the naughty . . ." Nate says with a sleazy grin on his face as I make my way into the hallway. "Clean up when you're done! Other people want to use the sauna besides the two of you, you know!"

"Heard you loud and clear brother dear," I call back to him as I walk over to Alanna's room to do a quick check on the girls. I knock on her door before slowly opening it a crack to see what was going on inside. I couldn't help but smirk a little when I saw her napping peacefully on her bed. The twins were also napping, but they were in the crib a few feet away. "Ah . . . My little girls . . . I'll just leave them to their naps now."

I close back the door, making sure to do it as quietly as possible so that the girls wouldn't wake up. As I did this, I heard another door opening from the end of the hallway, so I looked up to see Amanda exiting the sauna room wrapped in just a towel that went down to mid-thigh, with a second towel wrapped around the top of her head, completely covering up her long hair.

"Had fun in the sauna honey?" I ask with a childish smile on my face as the sudden sound of my voice makes her look up with a bemused look on her face.

"You can say that again, sweetie. . ." she says with a smirk as she walks over to our room. "Are the girls napping?"

"They are sound asleep," I tell her as I follow her into our room, being careful to lock the door behind me so that Alanna didn't pop into the room unannounced again. "Have you been in the sauna all this time?"

"No . . . I decided to take a look around the area right after breakfast before my little trip to the room down the hall," she tells me with a chuckle as she walks over to her suitcase. "And let me say this: there really aren't that many options out there if you want to go out to hunt, unless you're in the mood for parrot."

"Are birds really the only option around here to satiate our bloodlust?" I ask with a playful pout on my face as I fall face-first into the mattress.

"Well, I did catch a scent that was similar to pig, but it was very faint. We're probably going to have to travel a little further than expected if we want something good to feed on." she tells me as she picks out a pair of shorts and a black t-shirt, which I quickly recognized to be one of my 'RKO' tees.

"Hopefully, it'll be worth the travel . . ." I say with a shrug as I turn onto my side. I watch her pull the towel off her head, shaking her hair out as she went, before she began to pull at the top of the main towel that covered her body. ". . . Babe, don't you dare tease me."

"Who said I was going to tease you, and c'mon Randy. A little teasing never hurt anybody," she says with a chuckle as she drops her clothes onto a nearby chair before turning back to me. "You've been quite receptive to my teasing in the past."

"Don't remind me . . ." I tell her playfully as she slowly walks over to the bed. "Babe, don't keep me waiting here."

"I know you have it in you to be a little patient Ran," she tells me as she finally reaches the bed. I slide back a little on the mattress to make room for her as she climbed up, kneeling right next to me as she held on to the top of her towel. "Besides, what you expect may not be what you were totally hoping for in the end Randal."

"I'm not in the mood for your word games, Ms. Psychic," I say as I let my Viper-like glare come on display. Before she could even pick up on my thoughts, I grab the top of her towel and pull it down, but as soon as I saw that she was wearing a strapless black bikini top underneath, my glaring face turned into a sheepish grimace. "I should have known . . ."

"Surprise!" she tells me with a smirk as she takes her towel off to reveal the matching black bikini bottoms underneath. I try to shoot her a disapproving glance, but I stop myself short when I notice the new set of ink that was on her left side, right underneath her chest. "Randy, what's wrong?"

"Where did you get this impressive new set of ink?" I ask with an approving smile on my face as I look at the ink that was now along her rib cage. The tattoo was of an actual viper coiling itself around my well-known initial in its' familiar Gothic script. I was shocked because honestly, I didn't think Amanda would ever get my initials tattooed anywhere on her body.

"You could say it was a 'spur of the moment' kind of thing," she honestly tells me as she touched the tattoo. "I went with Lita to a tattoo parlor a few weeks ago so she could get her ink touched up when the idea just came to me, and I figured why not . . . So, what do you think?"

"I love it . . ." I say with a grin on my face. "I just never expected you to do this kind of thing."

"Well, I guess this is what happens when I suddenly do something unexpected huh?"

"You can say that again, but why did you have it put on your left side though?" I curiously ask as she lays down on her side right next to me. "You could have put it on your arm or something."

"I could have, but I figured I leave all the arm tattoos to you. Back and side tattoos are more of my thing," she tells me with a shrug. "Maybe my collarbone too, but I'm still not sure yet."

"I'm sure whatever you decide on will be perfect anyway," I say with a supportive smile before I leaned in and kissed the tattoo, as if I was giving it my blessing. "And now I must do the same."

"What? Like get a tattoo of my initials?" she asks me with an eyebrow raised.

"That's right . . . It's only fair," I say with a smirk as I hold out my arm. "I already have all the girls' initials and birthdays on my arm. Here, take a look."

"Oh wow . . . I never noticed them till now. How long have you had these?" she asks me as she looks at my latest set of ink.

"It's been there for a while now. Back when we were in Texas last time, actually," I say as I follow her stare at the three sets of initials and birthdays on my arm. "It was definitely long overdue if you ask me."

"Tell me about it . . ." she tells me with a smirk on her face before she kisses each set of initials before looking back at me. "The new tattoos definitely blend in with the rest of your ink . . . Maybe that's why I didn't notice them at first."

"And it's hard to really notice your new tattoo when it could be easily be covered up by a shirt or one of your bras," I add as I roll onto my back. "Do you have any other new sets of ink you want to tell me about?"

"Nope, your initials are the only new ones I have at the moment," she says with a chuckle as she rests her head on my chest. "However, I'm always open to new ideas if you want to share them with me."

"Not at the moment . . ." I tell her as I pick her head up by the chin. "I just want to enjoy this time with you right now."

"You are such a softie . . ." 'Manda whispers to me as I start getting lost in her eyes. When she realizes that I haven't said anything back in response, she further adds. "What, no comeback? I did call you a softie after all, and you dislike being called a softie."

"I know you called me 'softie' . . . This is my response to you . . ." I tell her before moving her head to mine. I press my lips against hers; barely tasting the hint of the waffles she made for breakfast. I slowly weave my fingers into her long damp hair before turning us around so that she was on the bed and I was on top of her. Her lips part wide enough that I could slip my tongue past them to get to hers', both of us fighting for dominance until I finally gain the advantage over her.

I feel her bare legs rub against mine as her arms wrap around my neck in a strong hold. I slowly break up the kiss to look at her face, and all I needed to see was the lustful look in those perfect blue eyes of hers to know what I should do next.

Normal POV

"Oh Jack Sparrow . . ." said Nate as he smiled with glee at the TV that was showing the second 'Pirates of the Caribbean' movie. "You never cease to amaze me . . . I wish you were actually real. I would so love to go on a treasure hunt and drink rum with you at Tortuga."

The middle Orton sibling let out another chuckle at a joke Sparrow made on screen before heading to the kitchen to get a drink, but before he stepped into the room, his ears perked up at the sounds of a loud feminine moan that came from his brother's room, which was then quickly followed by the sounds of his brother grunting.

"Sounds like something interesting is going on in there," said Nate as a sleazy smirk came across his face as a few racy ideas popped into his head. The smile quickly went away when he spotted a sleepy eyed Alanna coming out of her room, a disgruntled look coming across her face as she walked over to her uncle. "What's wrong Alanna? Did the sounds you heard coming from your father's room wake you up?"

"Yeah, but I was going to wake up anyway . . ." said the young girl as she walked over to her uncle. "What's for lunch?"

"I was thinking sandwiches. Will that do?" Nate asked her as she walked into the kitchen before him. When she shook her head yes, Nate snapped his fingers in victory. "By the way, are the twins awake yet?"

"Nope . . . they're still sleeping," said Alanna as she walked over to the kitchen table. "I put the noise-canceling headphones over their ears so that they won't get disturbed by whatever Dad and 'Manda are doing in their room."

"Good call . . . Hang on Alanna. I'll make your sandwich in just a minute. I just need to talk to your dad and 'Manda about something," said Nate as he jogged down the hallway toward the snake couple's room. "Amanda, Randy! Can I ask you two a quick question?"

"What is it Nate?!" Randy yelled out from within the room as Amanda could be heard chuckling from inside.

"Can you guys try to keep it down a little?" Nate asked as he tapped his fingers on the doorsill. "You're fun in there woke Alanna up, and the little girl had to put the headphones on the twins so that they wouldn't fall victim to the noise to."

"It was your brother's fault Nate!" Amanda yelled out as Randy let out a gruff snort. "He started it!"

"I know 'Manda," said Nate as he walked back toward the kitchen. "And by the way, I like to blame Randy for things too."

Amanda's POV

"Why are you looking at me like that?" I ask with a grin on my face as Randy still shoots me that Viper-like glare of his. "You're the one that made me moan loudly in the first place!"

"I know you're right. I'm just shooting you this look out of habit." he tells me with a grin as he gets up from the bed and goes over to his suitcase, buck naked, pale ass in all its glory, might I add.

"So, if Alanna asks us about what we were doing in here . . ." I say as I get out of bed and walk over to the chair where I dropped my clothes off earlier. "What do we tell her?"

"I have no idea . . ." Randy honestly tells me as he goes through his clothing. "I'm hoping she doesn't ask at all."

"It would be a pretty uncomfortable conversation to have with a little girl," I say as I put on my bra. Randy shakes his head in agreement before slipping on his black briefs over the most intimate part of his body, one that I was reintroduced to just mere minutes ago. We quickly get dressed before walking out of the room and head for the kitchen. As soon as we walk into the kitchen, Nate was looking at us with a grin on his face as he made sandwiches for the four of us while Alanna looked out the window. "What time is it?"

"A little bit after 1:30 . . ." Nate says with a cheeky grin on his face as he slapped cheese onto each slice of bread. "But I guess time flies when you're having fun huh you two?"

"Well . . . you can say that again," Randy says with a shrug as he gives me a peck to the forehead. "What kind of sandwiches are you making?"

"Turkey sandwiches . . . duh," says Nate as he waves a slice of turkey in the air. "Alanna, do you have anything in particular that you want on your sandwich?"

"Don't put tomatoes!" Alanna says with a strong shake of her head. "You can put lettuce, but no tomatoes."

"No tomatoes it is then . . ." Nate says with a shrug as Randy and I make it over to the kitchen table.

"Daddy, what were you and 'Manda doing in your room? Amanda's moaning and your grunting made me wake up from my nap."

"Uh. . ." Randy started to say as he held my seat out for me before moving on to his own seat. "'Manda and I were doing something that you'll eventually learn about when you get older sweetheart. It's something 'Manda and I prefer not to discuss right now."

"In other words, it's something adult and I shouldn't even know about it till I'm 21, right?" Alanna asks him with a serious look on her face as she stared at her sheepish looking father.

"Yeah, that's about right . . ." Randy says as Nate walks over with the sandwich platter in hand. "You're not going to try to leach out any more information from me are you?"

"No . . ." she says with a small shake of her head. "I'm not going to ask anymore . . . for now that is."

"I have a feeling this conversation isn't over." Randy says with a shake of his head.

"Probably not . . ." I say in complete agreement as I quickly get out of my seat. "I'm going to go check on the girls."

I quickly jog over to Alanna's room and walk inside to see the girls' crib right where I left it before going to the sauna room. The sound of one of the girls' mumbling instantly gets my attention, so I look down into the crib to see that Dani was wide awake while Gabi was still asleep. I gently slip the headphones off her ears before picking her up, her mumbling turning into squeals of joy as I held her in my arms.

"Hello Dani . . . Did you have a restful nap?" I ask her with a smirk on my face as she starts staring out the window, so, I follow her lead and stare outside too. "Yes Dani. Outside does look pretty, but I bet you are getting a little hungry right?"

She mumbles a few incoherent syllables as she starts tapping her hands along my chest. I reach for one of her hands, and as soon as I make contact, it's like I'm hit with a sudden psychic jolt. It was so sudden that I had to close my eyes, and when I opened them, I saw that I was witnessing some sort of vision.

The vision was taking place sometime at night and it was right by an empty stretch of beach. Randy and I were standing at one side of the beach while Rochelle was standing at the other end of it. She looked like an utter mess. Her hair was all over the place and she looked like she was barely holding herself together. Randy and Rochelle were yelling at each other. Something Randy said stopped Rochelle right in her tracks and he turns around to walk away. All of a sudden, Rochelle lets out some kind of scream before leaping for Randy. I run into her way, and that's when the vision ends.

"Oh Dani . . ." I whisper in disbelief as she looks up at my face. ". . . To see what you have seen. . ."

"'Manda?"

As soon as Randy calls my name, I turn around to see him holding a plate with a sandwich in hand, a small smirk displayed across his chiseled face.

"You sure are taking your sweet time in here babe," he tells me with a small chuckle as he walks over to me. "I figured I just bring you your lunch here so you could eat with the twins."

"Oh . . . yeah . . . thanks," I say as I take a seat on the edge of the bed.

"'Manda, what's wrong?" Randy asks me as he sits down right next to me. "You don't look so sure of yourself right now. Is everything okay?"

"I'm fine Randy," I say as I look down at Daniella, who looked up at me with a curious expression on her face. "It's just that I just saw something that I didn't expect, that's all."

"What did you see?"

"Well . . . it's not what I saw exactly," I tell him as I take the plate from his hand and set it down on the other side of me. "It's what Dani saw. . . She had a vision."

"Wait WHAT?!" Randy exclaims as he shoots me a look of absolute disbelief before turning his attention to his middle daughter. "Our daughter Daniella had a vision? An actual vision?"

"Well yeah . . . She is our daughter, and my side of the family is where the psychics are from after all. . ." I say with a shake of my head as I take a bite out of my sandwich. "I just never expected her to have a vision so young."

"Well . . . What did Dani see?" Randy asks me curiously as he takes Dani out of my grip and holds her in his arms. "Was it something good?"

"It's . . . mixed," I say as I shake my head. "You and I were standing at one end of a stretch of beach in the middle of the night, and Rochelle was standing at the other. You two were arguing and yelling at each other, and eventually, you said something that stopped her dead in her tracks. You turned to walk away. She let out one last scream and leapt to attack you from behind. The last thing that happened before the vision ended was that I was leaping into her way, and that was it."

"I see . . ." Randy mumbles with an intense look on his face as Dani starts to tug at his shirt. "So, I think it may be safe to say that Rochelle was here with us in Hawaii in that vision right?"

"Most definitely, unfortunately . . ." I say with a shake of my head as I take another bite out of my sandwich. "You should have seen it for yourself Ran. Rochelle . . . she looked like she was completely falling apart. Like she was on her last thread of sanity . . ."

"That's just great . . . Now I have to worry about an almost completely insane Rochelle hunting us down while we're on vacation." Randy mumbles with a shake of his head as he begins to rock Dani back and forth, getting a smile out of her in an instant.

"At least you know I'll have your back when you finally face her again." I say with a smirk on my face as I finish the last of my sandwich.

"Yeah . . . Apparently, you go all protective vampire mate on Rochelle's ass when she tries to attack me," Randy says with a smirk on his face, but I only shoot him a disapproving look in return. "I cursed in front of the twins again didn't I?"

"Yes you did," I instantly tell him as I hand him back my empty plate. "You really have to watch your mouth when the twins are around Ran."

"I know, I know . . ." he tells me with a smirk as I pluck Dani out of his grip. "I just can't help it sometimes."

"Yeah . . . especially when we're in the sack," I say in a hushed whisper so that Nate and Alanna wouldn't hear it. "Let me ask you this: During every time we have sex, how many times have you cursed in my ear when you're pounding into me hmm?"

"More times than I can count actually . . ." is all he says as he leaves the room, mumbling something about having a foul mouth in bed as he went.
