Greetings Comrades, it is I, Silent Soviet with another chapter to Spit That Hot Fire. I know I've been misleading you with some of the descriptions of the chapter, but control goes from Left Brain to Right Brain. For those who haven't heard these terms or meanings, it means that I plan, but I don't follow it because it dulls my imagination. Also, I've been off for a few months because this computer isn't mine, and gets used when I feel like writing. So this is chapter something or another, with a large time skip because all of us knows what happens in volume 1, with our favorite OC, Zirconum Key. I believe I will not plan anymore, but give something that will happen. So it will be "A sandwich is involved". Do I know what this sandwich will do? No, it is a sandwich in a messed up story. I own nothing except the OC.
Pyrrha's POV
Today was the beginning of school for the second semester, and we were all tired from that situation down at the docks (We weren't involved, but Nora needed to know, so we stayed up until 3:00 listening to each rendition of the story).
I hesitated to get up from my pillowy coffin, and from the groans of my team, so were they:
"Kill me." Jaune.
"Ugghhh." Nora.
.
.
.
*light sobbing*, Ah, there's Ren.
"Come on Team, we gotta get up. Gotsta learn today." I said, imitating Nora, causing a light giggle to wave throughout the room.
"Alright, alright, we're getting up. Sheesh." Jaune replied, using his sword and shield like a cane to get to the restroom, stumbling on the way there. 10 minutes passed, and we were all ready, trudging to class, side by side with Team RWBYZ. Because all the first years could only share one class with the upperclassmen (usually Combat Training), we all had the same classes.
"Anybody hungry?" asked Zirc, breaking the silence. "I mean we could get some Iho-". Jaune interrupted with "SHUT UP….. Ren's crying." We all looked to Ren, who was indeed crying, but smiling at the same time. "Fuckin' assholes… Shut up man." He said, while laughing with the guys. The other six of us felt like something went right over our heads, like a reference of sorts.
"Why are you guys laughing at Ren? He didn't do anything stupid did he?" she asked, with a hint of humor in it, as she seemed like she wanted to be included in the joke, if it was one.
"Oh, hehehe, you wouldn't get it unless you saw the Boondock Saints 2, which you need to watch One to understand." Replied Zirc, still giggling slightly. We got to our first class of the day, which was Professor Port, none of us anticipating his stories. While I may be a champion, I am still a 17 year old girl, even if it rarely shows.
(7 hour time skip, same POV)
"Thank GOD it's over; I thought I was going to die of sheer boredom!" Exclaimed Ruby, sighing as she opened the door, flopped on the floor, and starting snoring like a dinosaur. Yang followed, nearly tripping over her sister as she made her way to the shower in their room. Weiss was next, picking Ruby up and carrying her to her bed, where she set her down, planning to occupy Rubies' bed. Blake was the last to go in their door (for Ozpin built a door directly to Zirc's room because of an 'incident' last night), and dragged herself to her bed, and promptly fell asleep. Zirc went into his room carrying Neo, the poor girl so exhausted, she barely made it through Seventh period with Peach.
"Pyrrha, can we skip training tonight? Goodwitch worked my bones to their bones' bones." Said Jaune, writing something in his journal. I looked at him and considered it; on one hand, he needs to work through his pain to become a resilient huntsman, while on the other, I was about as tired as a Beowulf Alpha's mate when he is in heat. "Sure Jaune, I'm about as tired as you. But that means that we will train twice as hard tomorrow." I said, changing out of my armor and going into the shower, not noticing that he had already fallen onto his bed, fast asleep.
As I undress, I feel the sticky clothes falling from my body, dragging my hands across the contours of my body, giving myself goosebumps. It was a good feeling when one was not being creeped out by something. As I got in the shower, I felt the water cascade down my body, through every dip and curve of my form, cleansing the sweat and fight from my body and soul. My hands went for the soap, and as I lathered it across my aching body, I felt my thoughts drift to a certain blonde knight, and what it would feel like to have his hands roam along my body, caressing certain parts of me that even I hadn't explored in a while. As these thoughts ran rampant, with several scenarios (all m-rated), I heard a knock at the bathroom door. I panicked for two reasons: one, I hadn't expected a knock, and two, the water turned cold, signifying I had been in for too long.
"Pyrrha, are you in there? Are you ok?" Jaune asked from the other side, his voice full of concern. He's so caring. "Yeah, I'm ok, just finishing up." I answered, turning the water off and getting out, forgetting that I am soaking wet on a tile floor. I slip and let out a cry of pain as my head hits the rim of the bathtub hard, but not enough to knock me out. As I was recovering, he burst in, eyes covered with one hand and the Medkit in the other. I quickly grabbed a towel and covered myself, even though it sent a tingle down my spine with the thought of him seeing me in my current form, even though my membrane indeed felt as if it were insane.
"Are you bleeding Pyrrha?! Is anything broken?" He asked, a bit dramatically.
"No Jaune, although my head does hurt a bit." I answered with a small amount of pain in my voice. I winced as he felt where I hit my head, pain shooting through my body like a bullet.
"Alright, let's get Zirc to help. If I know that asshole, he's up right now goofing around on his PC, destroying people in Red Orchestra." Jaune said, a friendly undertone of annoyance in his voice. I had to get my clothes on first, because we were standing in the bathroom.
"Um… Jaune, could you…" I stammered, embarrassed.
"What?" He said, clueless. It took a full five seconds for him to realize it.
"Apologies Pyrrha, let me leave real quick." He said, a regal tone entering his voice, making me feel like a queen. I got dressed, and we headed over to Zirc's room. A controller tag was hanging off the door, indicating that he was as decent as he could be while playing. Jaune knocked a weird knock, sounding like something from a movie about battles in the stars. We heard some footsteps approaching, some locks moving, and then we were exposed to the inside of his dorm.
"Yo, what it be?" he asked, rather quietly.
"Can we borrow an ice pack? Pyrrha here hit her noggin on the bathtub." Jaune replied, a condescending tone in his voice.
"Aww, did widdle pywwah hit her head? Poor thing." Zirc said, both of them mocking me now. I started to pout, making Jaune look a bit guilty, but Zirc quickly fell down, clutching his legs. Behind him stood Neo, his unofficial girlfriend, holding her para-sword in one hand, and an ice pack in the other.
"Don't worry, I heard it all, and even got you the ice pack that Zirc somehow made colder using ice and fire dust." She said with a groggy voice. "Now you," She said pointing at the now near-incapacitated Native Vacuan, "You get to act as my body pillow, so get back motherfucker." She said with a tone of annoyance, but it hid a different meaning, one only us girls could tell between each other.
"Alright, alright, don't get your panties in a knot." Said Zirc, tired as a bear. As the cute- but still unofficial- couple head back into their room, Jaune suggested that we go back into ours and get our sleep. As we head to our beds, Jaune mistakenly flopped down in my bed. Deciding to take this opportunity, I slipped under the covers and snuggled against him, almost giggling as I felt him tense up. Before he could speak, I simply said: "Shut up and accept it, you're in my bed, so it's my rules."
Seeing as he couldn't argue, he tentatively put his arm around me, bringing me closer to his warm form. As I settled into his embrace, the warmth engulfed me, lulling me into a deep sleep filled with sugars, spices, and everything nice.
(Next day during combat class, because let's face it, that is about the most interesting thing in their day, besides hunting Grimm, 3rd POV)
"Today class, we will be trying something new with this particular group." Professor Goodwitch said, aiming her statement at a certain blonde boy. "We will be fighting using tools that usually would not be used for combat, because you never know when you will be weaponless." She said, eliciting a few gasps and groans from students who thought they would always have a weapon, or were too big for their britches. "Now, who's first?"
(30 minutes later, same POV)
After 30 minutes, kids were groaning in pain from taking pipes, 2x4's, car keys, doors, and- in Nora's case- a couch. The only eight who weren't were JPR+Z, and CRDL. "Now, because we only have about 20 minutes left, this last battle will be a team battle, even though Mrs. Nikos could defeat team CRDL alone, as she showed before her fight with Mr. Black. Therefore, to make it even, Team CRDL will be fighting with… vacuum cleaners, while Team JPR and Mr. Key will be fighting with… Music." She deadpanned, for how was one to fight with music? Regardless, the mixed team collaborated, while the original team received vacuum cleaners based on their weapons.
"How will we beat them with sound?!" Pyrrha quietly exclaimed, heading toward the female changing room. "Any other item, and I would've been fine, but noooo, we get music!" She fumed as she came out into the waiting room, looking exasperated. As she looked at the guy's faces, she nearly lost it. "HOW CAN YOU GUYS BE SMILING AT A TIME LIKE THIS?!" She shouted. Luckily, the room was sound proofed, so no one heard her. "Simple," Jaune said, "We know how to fight with sound. I just need to know: Can you sing or play an instrument?" Pyrrha thought about this question. Could she sing? She knew she could play guitar, both electric (her father's decision) and Acoustic (her mother's). But she wasn't sure if she could sing, so she decided to play it safe.
"I can't sing, but I can play guitar, both electric and acoustic." She replied, a new wave of hope washed through her while saying this.
"Good. Zirc, what song should we play?" Jaune asked.
"Either Hearts of Iron, or Keelhauled. Nothing else has the fire that those two have." Zirc replied, none of the guys noticing the gleam in Pyrrha's eyes.
"Personally, I think we should play Hearts of Iron. I like Alestorm, but Sabaton would catch them off guard." Said Ren, the stoic teen getting his violin-box from Zirc. "What do you think Pyrrha? Sabaton or Alestorm?" Jaune asked, only to get a slightly excited 'Sabaton' from her.
"Alright, Alestorm it is. But I can't sing like they do, Ren needs his focus on the violin, Zirc needs his breath for the drums, and Pyrrha can't sing at all. So who'll sing?" Jaune pondered, not sensing the Swedish flag floating down right behind him. Suddenly, a person appeared where the flag fell, and said person cleared his throat to gain the groups' attention.
"Not yet professor, we are still planning our battle strategy." Jaune said without looking up.
"Professor? Who is this 'Professor'?" a voice with a Swedish accent said. "My name is Joakim Broden.
Alright, so the sandwich is not in this chapter, but Glynda will be eating one in the next one. I also couldn't find the e with the accent mark, so kill me for that too. I'm down on WiFi on my ipod, so I cannot access my apps at all, so do not expect a lot of activity from me. I'm not sure when I will update again, but I hope it is soon, as I will get restless. SS, saying goodnight.
