Author's Note: Okay, here's that fluff short I promised, and a day early to boot. This too comes as a suggestion from ScrletWolfx, who has been most helpful and consistent reader, and I am quite grateful for that. As always, any feedback or suggestions are welcome, and feel free to fav/follow if you are so inclined. Until next time, have a good one.

Such occasions as these were rare, Blake reflected as she stretched out on her bed with a book – not so much the reading sprawled on her bed, mind, but rather that she was alone in the dorm to do so – and she intended to take advantage of the opportunity. Mina was probably still dictating answers for her ethics make-up test – she'd missed the first go on account of her recent infirmary stay, and given her… issues with that particular subject, she might be there a while… Ruby and Weiss were in the Dust lab, trying to get Ruby up to speed on the properties of raw Dust, and Yang was… somewhere… probably tinkering with her motorcycle or challenging Nora to a pie-eating contest… again… So for the moment at least, Blake had the place to herself. No, quiet reading time did not come often enough anymore, especially what with all that had happened recently – she felt like there was a rising undercurrent of stress in her life lately, and as much as the little trip she'd taken with Mina a few days ago was… important, she couldn't rightly describe it as having been terribly relaxing, so resolving to take this time for what it was worth, she pulled off her bow and cracked open 'Carolina Fox' for a nice and enjoyably relaxing-

Blake flinched as she heard a knocking on the door, It was nice while It lasted…

"Um… Hello? Delivery for Miss… Mina Carfax…?"

You could just pretend that nobody's here…

"The guy at the security desk said that there should be a…" fumbling with a piece of paper could be heard through the door, "One Miss Blake Belladonna free to receive the package for her…"

Dammit…

With a sigh, Blake got up, putting her book down, and approached the door to greet the untimely delivery girl, "Yeah, sure; I can receive the – Wait, Room Service Girl?"

The somewhat plain-Jane brunette now standing opposite Blake blinked a few times, scrutinizing her carefully before the penny dropped, "Oh. My. God! You're the girl from the Hotel!"

"I could say the same to you…" Blake blushed, "You deliver mail now?"

The girl rubbed the back of her head in embarrassment, "Nah… my folks do though; I'm just helping out… Nice… bumping into you again…"

Blake sighed again, "I'm just glad I'm more…"

"Dressed?"

"I was going for 'presentable,' but yes…" Blake nodded before hastening to change the subject, "So… where's this package?"

"Oh right!" The hotel staffer-turned delivery girl stepped out of the doorway and gestured to the left, "Right there; it's big, but not really all that heavy…"

Looking out the door as indicated, Blake was momentarily shocked by the sheer size of the box; it was squat and rectangular, but had to be big enough for a person to fit inside. At this thought, Blake turned back to the familiars stranger, "How… How did you even get this here?"

The girl just shrugged, "I… carried it…Not that I looked, but it's probably just clothes or something – barely weighs a thing. You'd be surprised how much online shopping the family business handles…."

But Blake had ceased paying attention at the words 'probably cloths,' only catching the words 'online shopping' afterwards. When did Mina order this many cloths – and how? She can't even shop online!

"…Now it you'll just sign here please…"

Blake shook her head, coming back to her senses as she took the clipboard and signed for the package, "Alright… Thanks, I guess?"

The girl smiled before hefting the box through the door like it was nothing and taking her leave, "See you around~"

"Yeah…" Blake replied noncommittally as she shut the door again and turned to stare at the box, "So what is it…?"

Apart from its rather impressive size, it was a fairly nondescript brown box, all told, held shut by a singly strip of packing tape and labeled with Mina's name on it. She gave it a little shove, and it moved without too much resistance, so Blake surmised that it was indeed rather light, making cloths a strong possibility, but since when would she buy this many? That tube-top and skirt she bought with Weiss and Yang has to be the first new outfit she's bought since coming here… She chewed her lip for a moment, pondering whether or not Mina would mind too much if she took a look inside… In the end, Blake's conscience decided that it would be best not to invade her privacy like that – it's just a pity her hands decided to cut the tape faster.

As the released flaps of the box flopped open, Blake's suspicions – and the delivery girl's, Blake supposed – were confirmed; the box, which was only filled to about halfway, perplexingly enough, contained nothing but clothes in a surprisingly wide array of colors, given Mina's usual style of dress. Blake thought to try and close up the box again, but when she caught sight of one particular item, that thought went out the window. Is that…?

Picking it up, the item in question did appear to be a disconcertingly short red cocktail dress, and underneath that appeared to be a one-piece swimsuit… Blake bent down for a better look at the next item – a police cap if Blake was not very much mistaken – when the doorknob turned. Startled, Blake jumped, lost her balance, and face-planted into the pile of suspicious attire as the door opened.

You fell in the box Blake… nice one… executed like a true huntress… she thought somewhat bitterly as she heard the Dorm door shut again and a set of footsteps approach.

"Dearest?"

Blake' heart stopped, "M-Mina! I can explain-,"

Somewhat to Blake's puzzlement at first, but then her immense relief, Mina burst out in giggles, "Dearest, you may try any of them on that you like, but I fear it would be easier if you-," more chuckles, "If you stepped out of the box…"

Blake blushed furiously as she sat up in the cardboard enclosure, "I suppose you think this is funny…"

"Weiss would call it poetic justice, yes…" Mina snorted, "But I just think it is all so adorable~"

Accepting the hand up that Mina eventually offered and stepping out of the box, Blake tried to change the subject to one slightly less embarrassing, "So uh… why did you buy all these?"

Mina cocked her head, "Buy? Oh no dearest; these are for work… apparently Friday is 'cosplay day' now…"

"I see…"

"You disapprove…?" Mina asked, suddenly more mellow.

Glancing for a second at the cocktail dress, Blake shook her head, "Can't be worse than the maid outfit… but…"

"But?"

Blake twiddled her thumbs nervously, "Model them for me first? You know… so I can check…"

Mina's smile returned as she draped her arms over Blake's shoulders and gave her a kiss, "But of course…"
