Paul's POV

When the girls came down I kept my gaze on Dawn. She has definitely changed. No more weird hair. No more glasses. She was beautiful. I sighed inwardly. I told the boys I didn't care but in reality I cared a lot. But of course no one could know that. Contrary to what the girls may think, I still liked Dawn. Shocked? Yeah, whatever. Like me and her could even happen after the dumbass stunt we pulled off. Besides, I was basically over her. Almost.

When Gary grabbed her wrist I glared at him for being an arrogant prick.

When they left Gary let out a big sigh. "Why do those girls have to play so hard to get?"

I rolled my eyes. "I don't know, cause they hate us? Figure it out yourself."

"Whatever guys. What should we do now? It's not like we're gonna do our homework. You wanna play videogames?" Drew said

Gary made a face. "Ashy-boy always wins that." Then he grinned with a mischievous glint in his eye.

"Actually…I know exactly what we're gonna do." Gary smirked.

Please don't say that we're gonna follo-

"Let's go follow the girls."

We all stared at him blankly. "No." Drew said, firmly.

Gary groaned. "Why not?"

"Cause I don't want to look like a stalker." Drew stated.

Gary rolled his eyes. "Come on. They're going to a club. A crap ton of other people go to clubs. Who cares if we go?"

"They know that we know that they're going out. If they see us they're obviously going to think we're following them or something." I said.

"Who cares. Let them think what they want to think. I can't help it if 4 very attractive girls are out there in the open." Gary argued.

"You are seriously one obsessed player." Ash sighed.

Gary shrugged. "I'm good at it. So why not?"

I growled. "We're not going. That is final."

Gary's eyebrows rose. "Is it because you still like Dawny?"

I shot daggers at him. "Shove it."

Gary smirked. "Well big guy, if you still want her you better act fast cause I've got my eye on her."

I shot up from my seat and stalked my way to him. "Don't even think about it."

Gary shrugged again. "You can't say anything about it cause you're not going to even make a move."

Drew rose from his seat too. "Don't touch Dawn, Gary. You know what she means to me."

Gary scoffed. "Like she even cares about you anymore. Look. The girls don't like us. Screw that, they probably hate us. But if we want at least another chance of talking to them again, we need to at least get friendly with them. Okay? I know for a fact that Ashy-boy misses the red-head. And Paul, you obviously miss Daw-"

"Shut up." I growled. "I don't miss her and I sure as hell don't care about her. We're not going to the club and that's final. We're probably going to get a house switch soon and then you can move on to some other chicks on campus."

"You guys are hopeless. Have you seen the other girls on campus? They're nothing compared to the girls. With that attitude you will never get a girlfriend." Gary stated.

"You can't even stick with one." Drew shot back.

"Yeah, well that's because none of them are like Le-" Gary started. "Never mind. I'm going to the club whether you like it or not." With that, he walked out the door.

Drew gave me and Ash a look. "We can't let him go out alone. He's gonna get drunk, get in fights and bring girls here and we're gonna get kicked out."

I raised my eyebrows. "Drew, you seriously can't mean we're gonna actually follow him."

Ash looked at us sheepishly. "I actually want to go."

We looked at him incredulously. "Why!?"

"I want to see them again."

I raised my eyebrows. "The girls are going to come in like 4 hours. You'll see them again. "

"You know what I mean Paul."

"No I don't."

Ash stood up. "I'm going. I'm not going to get kicked out either. You know what happens to Gary when we're not there."

I let out a sigh. He was right. Gary would probably cause trouble and it would be reported back to the school. Getting kicked out in the first week would not look good to any school.

I grabbed my jacket. "Alright. Let's go. We're gonna grab him and we're coming straight back."

Ash and Drew followed my lead and we walked outside. We loaded the car and sped off to the club.

When we arrived, the line to go in the club was immensely long. How the fuck are we supposed to get Gary now?

As if Ash read my mind he looked at me and said, "How do we get in? It's probably another 2 to 3 hours until the line even remotely moves."

Drew just squinted towards the front of the line. Then his eyes brightened. "Hey guys, let's go." He then motioned us for him to walk towards the front.

Ash and I exchanged looks. I shrugged, "Whatever."

Ash nodded and followed.

Drew greeted the man in front of the line and they shared a short conversation and the man lifted the rope to get in and gestured towards the entrance. Drew looked at us and grinned.

"Let's go."

We looked at him with disbelieving eyes. While we passed the crowd, Ash asked him, "What happened, Drew?"

Drew shrugged. "Just knew the guy. He's in big debt to me."

I nodded. Typical Drew. He had the best connections.

We walked through the hallway leading to the club. It was dark with small lights leading the way. We reached the end and opened the door. Immediately, there was a blast of music that shot towards us. We walked in and scanned the area.

It looked like a typical club with a dark setting and several lights, bar and dance floor.

There was a squeal. Several girls ran towards us. I recognized three of them. The really annoying ones that wouldn't stop following us at school. The pink-haired one, Urs-whatever that bugs the shit out of me.

"OH MY GOSH, you guys are here!" one of them said.

Drew flicked his hair and smiled. I rolled my eyes.

"Hello ladies. How has your night been?" He asked.

The girls squealed. Ash elbowed him. "We're here for Gary. Not to pick up girls."

Drew nodded and shooed the girls away. They groaned in disappointment.

We looked around for any signs of Gary. As I looked around, I saw the girls. And Dawn.

Ash whispered to me, "Don't the girls look nice?"

I scoffed. "They're alright."

Drew gave me a disbelieving look.

"What?" I growled. "If you think they look so nice, why don't you just pick them up like Gary intends to?"

Drew groaned in annoyance. "Stop comparing me to Gary."

"Well you sure act like him sometimes."

"Paul, sometimes you need to-"

Ash cut him off. "Guys, we're not here to argue. We're gonna make a scene. People are already looking at us."

I glared at the surrounding people who were watching us. I glared even more when the girls gave us annoyed looks. And if this was even possible, I glared even more at the boys next to the girls that were eyeing us weird. I don't even know who those bastards are.

Suddenly I spotted Gary at the bar chatting up a girl. I nudged Drew. "Look who's at the bar."

Drew shot his head at the bar and saw Gary.

Drew grabbed Ash and dragged him towards the bar while I followed. Gary didn't notice us until we yelled his name.

"GUYS! You came!" Gary exclaimed, opening his arms.

"Yeah, we found you. Sorry to rain on your parade, but we're leaving now." I stated bluntly.

"That's funny cause I'm staying. I want you to meet Elise." Gary said gesturing to the blonde next to him.

She gave us a polite wave and a nice smile. At least he didn't pick up a ditz. Whatever, we were still leaving, whether he liked it or not.

I stared at him and gave him a harsh look. "Gary, we're leaving, NOW."

Gary sauntered up to me and looked at me straight in the eye. "Make me."

He obviously drank something, his breath smelled like alcohol.

Ash sighed. "Come on, Gary. You know we don't want to be here."

Gary laughed. "Come on guys, just let loose. It's fun, I swear." He looked at me. "Especially you Paul. Sometimes you just need to learn to have fun."

"Yeah, it would be fun to get out of this place." I growled.

"COME ON! It's the weekend, plenty of hot girls, and the club isn't too shabby."

I gave him an unimpressed look. Drew and Ash looked at me. "What."

"Maybe we should stay." Drew muttered to me.

"No."

"Come on Paul. You can't get Gary to get out of here without making a scene, now that he drank."

I contemplated for a while, thinking of the pros and cons of the situation at hand. I thought of the pros first. It would shut Gary up. Drew and Ash obviously wanted to stay. Then the cons. Troublesome was here.

That seemed worse than making a public scene with Gary. But then she was here, and she'd probably see that ugly mess. Okay, that wouldn't be the best idea. I sighed. I was going to kick Gary's ass tomorrow.

Drew and Ash looked at me expectantly. "We're staying." I muttered.

Ash grinned and Drew nodded. Gary's smile widened.

"Well then what are you waiting for, big guy? Let's go!"

He pulled me over and handed me a drink. I looked at it and raised my eyebrows at him. "You want me to drink this." I stated.

"Drink it." He urged. "Loosen up, Paul. Come on, you need it."

"Gary, you know that I don't drink this shit anymore."

He shrugged. "Like I said, you need to loosen up."

"If I drink this, will you shut the fuck up with the loosen up thing?"

"Sure man, whatever you say."

I glared at him and shot the glass down my throat. Man, it's been a long time since this shit passed my mouth. I have pretty high tolerance so I could most likely drink two times more than Gary, Drew, and Ash and still stay somewhat sober.

Gary patted me on the back. "There you go. How does it feel."

"It feels fucking great."

He smiled. "Great! Now let's go hit the dance floor." He dragged me towards the dancing with Drew and Ash close at our heels. When we reached there the girls were dominating the dance floor with the guys they were with originally, nowhere to be seen.

The girls' movements were amazing and I couldn't keep my eyes off of one of them. I snuck a peek at Drew and Ash who couldn't peel their eyes away either. Gary, on the other hand, was bold enough to actually step into the area where the girls were dancing.

Typical Drunk Gary. Great.

When the girls saw Gary they stopped dancing in disgust. Dawn then looked up and saw me staring. She gave me cold look and walked away.

I rolled my eyes. Girls can be so oversensitive. I mean, that incident happened, like, 2 years ago. Girls and grudges. Never really understood that. It happened. So what? They're acting like it happened 2 days ago.

The three remaining girls were arguing with Gary as they tried to make him leave them alone.

Gary was still smiling and still flirting.

Drew gave me look. "You know we have to get him out of there."

I groaned. I walked my way to Gary and grabbed his shoulder. "Get out of here, Gary."

Gary smiled at my presence. "PAUL! Nice of you to join me and the ladies."

"I'm not here to join anything."

Gary looked around. "Hey, where did Dawn go?"

The girls looked around. "Misty, did you see Dawn leave?" May asked.

"I..I don't know."

"I can help you look. It won't be hard to find such a hot girl like her."

Leaf glared at him. "Fuck off, Oak. Go flirt with your whores."

"Jealous?" Gary said, smugly.

Leaf smacked him across the face. "Go to hell." And with that she stalked off with the girls.

Huh. The girls' got guts. I'll give them that.

I discreetly searched for Troublesome. I saw Leaf, Misty and May talk to boys they came with and they were discussing. Guess they were looking for her too.

Where could that troublesome girl go?

I left the dance floor. Drew caught up to me. "Paul, where are you going?"

"I don't know. Just away from the dance floor."

"Alright. We'll probably be here to keep Gary in check."

I nodded and he walked back to the dance floor. I saw a girl with reddish hair to ask Drew to dance. He shrugged and took her hand. She squealed and smiled at her friends. She and her friends seemed to be the annoying girls that bugged us before.

I made my way to one of the bars in the far corner. I saw a flash of cobalt hair. Dawn?

She was talking to some guy with blackish hair and glasses and smiling. He handed her a drink. She looked at it hesitantly. The boy had a drink of his own and gulped it down. He smiled at her and said something. She nodded and put the glass to her lips and drank its contents. Was she a good drinker?

She coughed. The boy grabbed and shoulder and looked at her worriedly. She gave a reassuring grin but when she took a step her body swayed and lost her balance. The boy grabbed her waist and caught her before she fell to the ground.

I glared. Well, I found her. She was obviously not a good drinker either. Looks like she has the help she needs. I walked away.

I saw her friends searching for her. Should I just tell them? No. Whatever. It was their problem now. I looked at my watch and moaned silently. Okay. That was it. We were leaving whether Gary made a public scene or not. I searched through my pockets for my cell phone. Shit. I must have dropped it.

I turned back towards the bar. I searched with my eyes across the floor for my phone. I found it and bent down to pick it up. When I stood back up I saw the boy with Dawn and he was leading her towards the back door. She was clutching her head and walking unevenly with her heels. As the boy was leading her away, he was subtly glancing back. I frowned. Strange.

As the boy with glasses was glancing around, his eyes met with mine. My eyes narrowed. His eyes widened in surprise. He started to direct Dawn away faster. What the hell?

I quietly followed them. The boy managed to get Dawn out the door and with one final glance he shut it.

I was about to follow them but then I stopped myself. What the fuck was wrong with me? Why was I following them? I was over Troublesome. If she was any other girl I wouldn't even glance at her.

He was probably escorting her home or something. But then again, all her friends were here. And they sure worried about her. I shook my head and growled. Why am I even thinking about this? Then my mind went to the dreadful possibility that the guy wasn't as nice as he seemed.

My thoughts went to panic mode and I shot towards the door. When I grabbed the knob I stopped. But what if he actually was just helping her? She would think I was stalking her. I couldn't let that happen. Psh. I don't care about her.

Right when I let go of the doorknob there was an abrupt scream. A familiar scream. A…familiar voice.

Troublesome.
