"Set Apart This Dream" belongs to Flyleaf.

"Alright! Blake, Weiss, and Mina, you start at the south side of the harbor, Yang and I will start on the north side – and we'll meet in the middle!"

That was the plan in a nutshell anyway. In practice it was turning out much more complicated. While the groups had been thusly arranged so that Mina could have both Blake and Weiss for support, the Heiress was nobody's fool; it wasn't enough. Weiss found herself watching her friend with concern more than actually scanning the streets and alleys, and while this was perhaps counter-productive to the task at hand, she couldn't help thinking it more important. Mina's expression, normally calm, composed – smug even – was instead a mask of anxiety, sightless gaze darting back and forth instinctively. Perhaps Mina's dread might have been well hidden from anyone less familiar with the blind Faunus, but by now, Weiss knew her too well for that, and was herself something of an expert on anxiety besides. Were the circumstances different, it might almost have been funny; Mina was visibly the tallest and generally largest of the three, yet she was the one acting like a furtive child alone in the dark.

We need to resolve this… The sooner, the better…

"Blake…" The Heiress spoke tentatively, "this poking about the streets is getting us nowhere; I'm going to see about asking someone if they've seen her-,"

"No…" Blake shook her head, regarding a group of suspicious passersby with some apprehension, "No one's going to tell you anything – not without a bribe…" Blake sighed, "Almost everything about you screams 'money…'"

Weiss's lips set in a line, "Point taken… but what do you suggest…?"

Blake looked worriedly to Mina, "Mina… would you be okay with Weiss if I stepped away to talk to a few people and see what they know?"

Mina nodded slowly, "If it must be done…"

Blake looked to Weiss reluctantly, seeking confirmation, and the heiress slowly nodded, "Be quick about it then…"

Blake nodded in turn, "I'll be back soon…"

As Blake broke off from them, Weiss gently led Mina by the shoulder toward the edge of the harbor and sorely neglected bench and table once placed for the benefit of tourists, but it had since fallen out of repair when this district of the city had been zoned for industrial shipping. Still, it was sturdy enough, if not so clean as the heiress might have liked, but beggars couldn't be choosers, so after encouraging Mina to have a seat, Weiss herself swallowed her distaste for the poorly kept bench and sat down beside her, "Are you doing alright?"

"I want this done with…" Mina responded, staring blankly down at the splintery wood table, "I will be better when Undine is Dr. Alice's problem…"

"Dr. Alice –Oh… Dr. Edrych-Gwydr…" Weiss realized, unable to help a little chuckle despite everything, "Yeah… I think we'll all rest easier when this Nadia character is off the streets…"

"Mmhmmm…"

"Mina…" Weiss sighed, "You don't have to do this – we can take care of-,"

"No." Mina said definitively, "I will not leave Blake – or you – to that damned wench…" Mina's fists tightened in her lap, "If she could make me forget Blake… I'll not risk whatever she might do to you…"

Weiss winced at the thought, but she needed to be calm – Mina needed it – so instead she reached over to take hold of Mina's hand, "You're scared Mina, believe me, I understand, but we can do this – you said it yourself; Undine is nothing – after all we've been through, what's this?"

"I… I know…" Mina admitted, "But it scarcely makes me feel better…"

"You don't like the idea that…" Weiss paused, searching for the most diplomatic words, "That someone… else… has feelings for you…? But it didn't seem to bother you much when Russell…"

"Mr. Thrush understood 'no…"

That makes sense… "And you just want her to leave you alone…"

Mina just nodded, "Just today… then I can relax…"

"Can you fight her?" Weiss asked, "Mina, you don't have to…"

"I have to-,"

"No, you don't," Weiss asserted, "You can stand up, walk back to the airship station, and go back to Beacon while we take care of this. If you can't do this, don't." Mina looked to her, eyes wide, but lost for words, so Weiss continued, "But if you're going to insist upon putting yourself through this, let us help you…"

"Weiss…"

"Tell you what…" Weiss continued more softly now, "Last week when you were… regressive… you asked me if I could sing you a song – If that helps, I will – or anything else, just ask and I will do anything in my power to help you, okay?"

Mina nodded, about to speak, but then her scroll rang out, and Mina reflexively answered, obviously thinking that it was Blake, calling for them to meet up again, "Dearest-?"

"H-hello Mina…"

Seven little digits… that was all it took to let Nadia talk to Mina again. She could have done it whenever she wanted really, she'd just thought it would have been better to talk to her in person, but she just had to fuck that up, so she was back at square one – and even then only because she'd gone out and swiped a scroll from some drunk human – turned out throwing her last one against the wall to wipe that damned smirk off Mercury's face hadn't been such a good idea… but that didn't really matter now.

Just seven little digits and she could talk to Mina again… she just had to convince Mina to come back – screw everything else – the witch was going to kill her otherwise… I can't let that happen… Yet she found herself hesitating to do it – she'd put in all the digits, but she couldn't dial – instead, her mind flashed back to what had happened last time she went to talk to Mina…

What if she hates me now…? I… I didn't mean to… She squeezed her eyes shut and leaned up against the wall as she started to tear up, "Oh God… I only wanted…" What, exactly…? She caught her breath for a moment, and then let the breath go as her grip tightened around the scroll, What Belladonna has… but how do I take it…? Belladonna's probably gonna come looking for you too… Nadia's expression tightened into a snarl, what does that bitch have that I don't?

Nadia reached into her jacket pocket and closed her fingers about her knife. Soon enough… Between that, the powers that the witch gave her, and the Dust… I gave her the chance to walk away right? I told her to get lost, and she didn't… I won't let her have Mina… I'll show Mina how much more I love her than Belladonna does – Then she'll see…She'll understand then I just want… I… Nadia shook her head to dismiss her inconvenient hesitation, before impulsively pulling out her pilfered scroll.

"I… I'll just…" She fumbled awkwardly with the device in her haste, "I just need to talk to her…" She rapidly typed in the seven little digits she'd found on the slutty waitress's scroll and slammed dial, "I just want to talk a little bit…"

She held the device to her ear and started impatiently tapping her foot as she glanced out the window at the sun as it was coming down from its apex, just waiting for the dial tone to be interrupted. She didn't have to wait long.

"Dearest?"

Nadia's eyes went wide and her heart stopped, "H-hello Mina…"

"Undine…"

She remembers my name… Nadia stifled her eagerness just enough to speak,"I-I've missed you…"

"Where are you wench?"

"Mina, is that-,"

Nadia's expression soured again, Who is that? She seethed, Not Belladonna, but… Nadia tried to put her eager face back on – it didn't matter that nobody could see it – It wouldn't do to give Mina the impression that she was too possessive; Mina was her hero, not some object after all, "W-who's that…?"

"Where are you?"

She just wants to talk about me… Nadia brightened again, "You want to see me…?"

"Enough of this! Where are you?"

Nadia's heartbeat picked up again, "I-I'm in an office building overlooking the harbor…" Nadia breathed, "I want to see you again… I… I'm sorry about what happened last time I… I tried to… to see you…"

"You're sorry?" Nadia nodded emphatically in response to the question, willfully heedless of the venom dripping from Mina's voice over the line, "fine… I will give you one chance, Nadia Undine; I will find your building, and you will return to beacon with me to…"

Nadia heard nothing beyond that. Her heart aflutter, she was short of breath as she ran the words through her mind over and over again; one more chance… with her… I… I can… it's not too late… her lips curled into a hopeful smile, "I-I'll be r-right here! I'll wait as… as long as it takes!" But the line had already gone dead.

A brief search on Weiss's scroll had revealed that the building which Undine had indicated was located on the north end of the harbor, closer to Ruby and Yang, and upon discovering this, Weiss promptly relayed as much to the sisters whilst Mina had called Blake to inform her as well. After that, Mina had let Weiss lead her in the right direction – having no grasp of the compass directions for herself – and linked up with Blake again near the Summer Blossom before hurrying to make their way to the location that Nadia Undine had willingly advertised. There was no conversation after establishing their destination though; from what Mina could tell, Blake had nodded, and they had hastened on their way in a heavy silence – the noise and bustle of Vale meant nothing. The only sound to be heard, as far as Mina was concerned, was the insistent dialing and re-dialing of Weiss's scroll as Weiss tried to reach Miss Rose or Miss Xiao Long again to formulate a plan. No one answered.

"Come on Ruby… pick up!" The heiress griped worriedly as the line rang unanswered again, before she spoke to Blake and Mina once more, "We need to hurry…"

"You don't think they've found her already, do you?" Blake asked, short of breath as they all broke into a run, "If they have… Mina, they can fight her, right? You're the only one who's actually done it…"

Mina's mouth set in a line, "Physically, yes-," her eyes widened as she heard screams and gunfire sounding in the distance, and then shattering glass, "Do you hear that?"

Through her Semblance, Mina could tell that Weiss and Blake were casting her sidelong looks as they hurried; neither could hear it yet, "What do you hear?"

"It seems that Weiss was right; we must hurry – Miss Rose and Miss Xiao Long have already arrived,"

"Right, let's move!" Weiss acknowledge, breaking into a full-on run.

Blake however waited a moment "Mina…"

Mina shook her head, "Too many shots have already been fired; you will hear it soon – but the situation is obviously more complicated than I had counted on…"

"Right…"

Following after Weiss, Blake and Mina started to sprint, ignoring the surprised cries of the people milling about the streets. Mina noticed Blake's ears twitch even despite the motion as they drew closer and she too could hear the sounds of combat which they were rapidly approaching. Weiss was last to hear of course, but 'last' didn't take very long by that point, as, through her Semblance again, which Mina had taken to keeping active until they returned to Beacon for safety's sake, Mina could see – well, not see, but sense – that Weiss had moved her hand to Myrtenaster's hilt as they came on to the block which hosted the office building that they were looking for. The whole area seemed vacant – probably because any passersby had been wise enough to clear out when the fighting had started, but when the action actually came into Mina's sphere of awareness, it proved itself worse than she could have imagined.

"What the…"

"Yang!" Blake cried as Mina observed Miss Xiao Long lunge at Miss Rose, gauntlets deployed, and "Yang stop! What's gotten into you!?"

Bewildering as the whole awful scene first seemed, Mina could tell what was happening, and wasted no time to intervene. She drew two stakes from her pockets as she ran, and without announcing herself, she collided with Miss Xiao Long full tilt before her fist made to connect with the young team leader. Mina barreled into her shoulder-first, striking Yang in the side of the ribcage. Yang went sprawling, shouting incoherently as she righted herself and came back swinging, this time at Mina. Mina pivoted, moving just aside to avoid Miss Xiao Long's fist before taking hold of the extended arm and putting a foot forward to trip her erstwhile teammate. Knowing Miss Xiao Long's Semblance Mina decided on the spot that strikes would not be the best option, so instead she leveraged Yang's own forward momentum to throw her to the ground again.

"Miss Rose, are you-?" But Mina didn't get to finish the question, as Yang took Mina to the ground with a sweep of the leg.

"Oh my God! Mina! I-I don't know what – I mean, we saw her – I think- and then-,"

Blake leapt into the fray now, hesitant to be too aggressive with Gambol Shroud on her partner, but Mina needed help.

Yang, her eyes a haze of angry red, dodged the halfhearted slash by springing backward, but the maneuver only bought them a few seconds; time enough for Mina to get back up, but not much else, and she'd barely resumed her stance before Yang was on them again.

"I don't... What do we do?" Ruby panicked, "I can't hurt Yang!"

"She must have made eye-contact when you two found- Undine!" Weiss proposed, even as she herself hesitated, unwilling to attack a friend even under these circumstances, and equally reticent to strike Blake by mistake, "What did Undine say?"

"Yang told her that she was 'coming with us'" Ruby said weakly, "Then the girl snapped and screamed for Yang to 'get her pet goth' away… We can snap her out of this, right? Please tell me we can!"

Meanwhile, Blake and Mina were taking it in turns to keep Yang busy one attacking from the front and the other from the back, but neither willing to risk anything more than holding Yang's attention. Dimly though, Mina noticed the sound of one of Weiss's glyphs flickering to life between Blake and herself, and suddenly Yang was thrown - seemingly by the wind itself – to the ground near the broken glass door offering entrance to the building. It was a welcome reprieve to be sure; she could handle Miss Xiao Long competently enough under normal circumstances, but with Yang in a fog of hypnotically induced rage, Yang was fast, and her stamina was tremendous, How do we get through to her? Fortunately Weiss also took the opportunity to intercede, paring a liberal discharge of wind Dust with a lunging thrust to send Yang flying when she came back again, but the success was short-lived, as she landed on one knee and bolted back without pause.

"Wait!"

At the sound of Nadia Undine's loathed voice Mina instinctively turned and seemed that the wench still had some command over Miss Xiao Long, as her heavy fist stopped short of striking Weiss's barrier glyph,

"W-wait you stupid cow!" Yang excepted, all heads turned to assess the one whom they'd all come here to find, now standing on the steps of the decrepit old office building. Her eyes were wide, somewhere between anger and anxiety, her hair was disheveled, odd locks here and there hanging over her face, and her cheap blue windbreaker hung open, revealing numerous small Dust explosives, yet all she had to hand was a knife, not that she looked particularly ready to use it, "M-Mina... I thought you said that... that..."

Blake didn't dare turn from Yang in her current state, but she cast Undine a withering look, "Don't talk to her Undine - after the hell you put us through..." Blake's grip tightened on Gambol Shroud's hilt, "Just don't..."

Nadia rounded on her angrily, "And just who asked you, bitch? Just shut up!" she seethed taking several ragged breaths, before turning back and settling her voice into a softer, almost pleading tone, "I was talking to Mina..."

But Weiss put herself between Mina and Undine, "The only person you'll be talking to is General Ironwood. From a cell."

"Who the hell do you think..." But Nadia's voice trailed off and her eyes narrowed, "Wait a minute...You... you're a Schnee..." Weiss made no answer, and Undine continued, stumbling over her words, "Schnee… how… how dare… this is… it's all your fault! Mina had to fight so hard because you… I wish you would…would…"

"Weiss! Close your eyes!" Mina heard Blake shout, and then it dawned on her what was happening. Without a second thought, Mina sprinted to Weiss's side and clapped a palm over her eyes – maybe the heiress had already closed them herself, but damned if Mina was going to take that chance as Undine screamed.

"JUST DIE!"

For an instant, Mina's blood ran cold. The air was heavy and silent for the span of a heartbeat before she let Weiss go and to her relief, the Heiress resumed her fighting stance once more, just in time to deliver undine two quick jabs to the sternum and solar-plexus, halting her sudden attempt to come at them with her knife.

"Thank you Mina…" Weiss breathed a hasty sigh of relief, "So her hair glows when she-,"

"What the hell are you doing Cow!? HELP ME!"

And then it all went to hell. Mina scarcely managed to seize Weiss by the wrist and heave her to the side as Yang lunged at her from the rear, and Blake had to jump in to prevent Yang from following up before Weiss or Mina could recover. Finally getting over her hesitation as well, Ruby stepped in, swinging Crescent Rose, striking with the back end rather than the blade, but it wasn't amounting to much; she just got stronger and stronger with every hit.

"Dammit Mina!" Nadia screamed as Mina pivoted, catching Yang at the wrist and stepped forward, pulling Miss Xiao Long into a throw, "Why are you fighting for them!? I love you! I thought you wanted to see me!"" Mina tried to drown Undine out by rushing back to the fight, but still she kept talking, "Please… anything you want from me – take it – I'm yours, just-,"

"Shut up!" Mina screamed, "just leave me alone!"

Nadia was silent for a moment before she stammered out, "I-it's them, isn't it!?" She reached into her jacket, clutching one of the Dust-bombs, "I'll… I'll get rid of them for you –then you can come home and…" she Yanked the pin, throwing the device into the brawl before disappearing back into the building.

"Look out!" Mina cried, just in time for her teammates to disperse – Weiss pulled herself and Blake away on glyphs, and Ruby launched herself backward using the momentum from blocking Yang's fist with the shaft of her scythe. The Only one who actually sustained the blast was Miss Xiao Long, whose Semblance only converted the force into yet more power, and after staggering briefly she began firing round after round from her gauntlets, first driving Blake back, then Ruby.

"What do we do?" Weiss culled up a glyph to defend herself just in time for her turn under the rain of shotgun shells.

"We need to get Undine!" Blake shouted, "She's controlling Yang; maybe she can make her-," But Blake had to roll out of the way as Yang moved to hit her again, "I'll-,"

"No," Mina interrupted, "I have to…"

Blake cast Mina a worried look as Ruby and Weiss moved in to keep Yang busy, "Mina, this isn't the time to-,"

"Can you fight her with your eyes shut?" Mina interrupted.

"Can you fight her?" Blake countered, "I know you're a better fighter than she is, but can you do it?"

Mina's fingers tightened around her stakes, "I have to-,"

"Not by yourself you don't," Weiss asserted, sliding backward on her glyph, propelled by the momentum of Yang's fist which she'd blocked with Myrtenaster and a brief discharge of wind Dust, "If you're going after her, I'm coming too,"

Blake shook her head, "What if she-,"

"Let's face it Blake, I can be more help to her right now, because I don't have to look at Undine to engage..."

Blake gritted her teeth, looking over her shoulder to see Ruby hastily backpedaling and trying to deflect her elder sister's blows by twirling the shaft of her scythe, before letting out a sigh, "…Alright – but dammit Weiss, take care of her!"

The heiress nodded, "You have my word,"

Inside the building, everything was dark. It was one of those places that was only still standing because no one had bothered to take it down; the floors were stripped to bare concrete, light fixtures had been removed from the ceiling leaving wires to hang down like willow branches, and more than a few windows were broken, letting a draft in. A positively eerie setting, all told, and Weiss didn't care for it in the least. Lots of dark corners, lots of places to hide, and Undine had a head start. The intermittent sounds of gunfire and clashes of steel on steel could still dimly be heard from outside, a constant reminder that they needed to hurry.

We have to end this… Quickly, but carefully… Weiss turned with a start, raising her weapon at a sound off to her left, but then breathed a sigh of relief, "Just a rat…"

"Weiss…" Mina spoke hesitantly as she lead the way, making a very deliberate point to stay in front, "Please… eyes to the ground…"

Weiss Blinked, "Mina, I'll be-,"

"Please…"

"…Alright…" The Heiress complied reluctantly, but it did not stop her from scanning the ground. It was probably pointless – Mina's Semblance would pick up anything well before it crossed Weiss's now severely limited line of sight, but it was something; otherwise all she could do at present was listen as Mina tried to keep her breathing calm, "Mina… We will catch her, don't worry,"

"A-alright…" Mina nodded without much conviction before defaulting to business, "She is not on this floor, we must move on…"

Weiss nodded chancing a look up and around to confirm it for herself, only to see more of the dingy, dark room, and she let out and nervous little chuckle, "Brings back memories, doesn't it?"

"Hmmm…?" Mina queried between shaky breaths as she took the first few steps up the nearest stairwell, stakes at the ready.

"Remember when you kidnapped me and dragged me out to that old abbey?" Weiss clarified, "This kind of reminds me of that…"

"Oh…" Mina couldn't help a little giggle of her own despite her nervousness, "I do remember that… and… I do hope this runs more smoothly…"

"There won't be any blood-drinking this time…" Weiss continued, trying to keep up some levity despite the distant clamor of blades and gunfire.

"…Indeed…" Mina's mouth set in a line, "And Weiss… I… I am sorry about that…"

Weiss blinked as she stepped off the stairs and onto the second floor, "What?"

"I should not have… bit you…"

Weiss sighed, shaking her head, "Water under the – Get back!"

It all happened in a fraction of a second; Weiss saw a flash of bright blue from the corner of her eye – it was something Mina naturally wouldn't notice, and she only had an instant. Weiss sprang to the front and held up a hand, calling a barrier glyph into existence between her, Mina, and the flash of blue, just as the Dust device detonated. The explosion sounded with a thunderous noise and an eruption of crackling blue and purple tongues of lightning. The outermost stretch of the blast curled just around the edges of Weiss's glyph, but not enough to reach her or Mina.

"That… that was close…" Weiss let out a sigh of relief, "I suppose we should have expected that though – you did say she favors explosives – hell, she almost crushed most of us… I should have seen it coming…"

"We know now…" Mina nodded, closing her eyes again – having opened them in surprise at the sudden noise, "And thank you…"

"Right…" Weiss nodded, "We'll just have to be a bit more careful going for-,"

"Oh my God! M-Mina! I'm so sorry! I set those up to-," Weiss and Mina wheeled to face Nadia Undine as her eyes fell on Weiss and her expression darkened, "You…Get away from her!"

Weiss made to raise her weapon, but Mina stepped in front and between them, "Weiss, eyes away!" Mina's own eyes had impulsively snapped shut at the sound of Nadia's voice, and she resumed a fighting stance, rapidly slotting a stake through her wires and drawing out a foot of the wire. Undine stood across the room, her own knife at the ready in one hand and another Dust explosive in her the other, "Lay down your weapons, Undine…"

"B-but…" Nadia stammered, confused, "She's… That Schnee… She has to die!"

"She is my friend, Wench, and if you lay a finger on her, I will kill you…" Mina hissed, "Drop your weapons,"

"W-what? So you can go back to that Belladonna with that bitch!? It's her fault that life was so hard for us-!"

It was at that point that Mina lost her patience. With a swift pivoting motion she swung the wires out to slash, and when Nadia clumsily leapt back, Mina let loose more of the razor wire for the follow-up swing, this time channeling her aura through the burn crystal fitted into her gauntlet, causing the four wires to be set ablaze and bathing the drafty space in heat and angry orange light. This time Undine could not back far enough away, and fell to the ground amidst the flaming wires until Mina pulled back to withdraw them, extinguishing the flames. As Mina caught the stake to which the wires were affixed, Undine cried out in anger and surprise as she collapsed, frantically scrambling to strip off her windbreaker and hurl it aside before the assortment of Dust devices reacted to the heat. As it turned out, she could barely fling it away in time as the devices chain-reacted upon vacating the nearest broken window, and Mina was very swiftly made to regret her lapse of prudence.

The last thing Mina was vaguely aware of before the conflagration overloaded her senses and momentarily deafened her was the sound of one of Weiss's glyphs glimmering to life. After that there was only the shrill ringing in her ears as Mina stumbled, trying to recover her balance. Was the floor still level? She couldn't tell, but she didn't feel steady, and she dropped to her hands and knees. Tears streamed down her cheeks as the sudden migraine hammered inside her skull, and perception beyond the enormous throbbing inside her head was very nearly impossible.

Until Undine spoke again.

"I don't understand!" She shrieked, her every word assaulting Mina's ears like a bludgeon, "Why can't you see that she's the… Belladonna's not committed and that Schnee bitch is-,"

"SHUT UP!" Mina screamed, hands clasping over her bat ears, "Just shut up!"

"I just have to kill them… Once they're gone you'll understand…"

No! Mina tried to force herself back shakily to her feet, trying to activate her Semblance again. The sensory information came back in fits and starts, flickering in and out at first, but it was enough to get a picture of what was happening. At first, she could sense Nadia clambering back to her own feet over by a newly formed gaping hole in the side of the building, dusting herself off from the demolished pile of rubble. Next Mina knew, Undine had recovered her knife, and then the three-dimensional silhouette Mina perceived started her way.

"Just… leave me alone!" Mina stumbled backward, not having fully recovered her balance or managed to stabilize the use of her Semblance.

But Undine didn't listen, and Mina recoiled when she felt Nadia's fingers, newly blistered from the explosion to which she had been nearest, closing around her wrist, "P-please… Mina…"

Mina yanked her hand away and began to hyperventilate, her breath coming quickly, shallow, and ragged. "Get away from me!"

Yet still Nadia came closer, trembling fingers reaching up to caress Mina's cheek, "But I-,"

"Close your eyes, little girl…"

Mina's breathing halted as she heard the lilting tones of Weiss's voice for the first time in what felt like an eternity. Her tone was breathier and less polished than normal, but melodic nonetheless as she continued the lullaby, "You're a princess now, you own this world, twirling in your twirly dress, you're the loveliest, far above the rest..."

Mina felt Undine's fingers hesitate in response to the song, and she took a deep breath to calm down. Even as Undine raised her voice, "Shut up Schnee!"

Yet Weiss ignored her, eyes still closed, and continued. Slowly Mina recovered the steady use of her Semblance, and realized the extent of Weiss's show of faith in her.

"Close your eyes, pretty girl, cause it's easier when you brace yourself… set your thoughts on a world far off, where we only cry from joy…"

Letting out her breath and suppressing the onset of panic, Mina acted. She grabbed Nadia Undine by the wrist, wrenching it away from her face, and delivered an open-palmed strike to Undine's solar-plexus, Simple… easy… she is nothing…

"Oh lovely and beautiful, precious and priceless…"

Mina pivoted, sweeping Nadia's feet from under her and threw her to the ground.

You're so much more than you know, heart of the purest gold…"

Mina dropped to a knee, twisting Undine's arm behind her back and slamming her to the floor. Gradually she felt herself calming down – she was in control now, this was just business…

"…Pure clean and white as snow, clothed in such splendor… wear the beauty for me…"

She felt safe. Still, she remained there for a while though – just long enough for Weiss to finish the song before she spoke, "It… it is done… Thank you Weiss…"

Weiss opened her eyes, "Any time…"

"She's unconscious…" Mina elaborated, letting out a sigh of relief as she stood, "And I don't hear anything from outside anymore…"

Weiss nodded, "Then it is over…"

Author's Note: Okay, finally done! Alas this chapter took a lot longer than normal – in part because it is longer than normal, but as I said before, I have been busy. Still, the next one won't take three weeks – This week's finals, but after that, lots of free time! (I'm not about to promise daily updates or anything, but back to once a week at the least).

Anyway, as far as the Flyleaf song goes, I wish to explain that I always wanted to have Weiss sing something during that scene, for that purpose, but alas, I consider the writing of lyrics beyond my skill set… So, to that end, I would like to thank ScarletWolfx for helping me brainstorm what I went with. "Set Apart this Dream" fits with the sort of songs I imagine Weiss would sing (Mirror Mirror doesn't exactly fit the context) – I envision it as the sort of thing that her mother might have sung to her as a lullaby. At any rate though, I hoped that you enjoyed it, and as always, any feedback is appreciated.
