O.o.O.o.O
It had been a week since Clary had arrived at the institute. She had come no closer to getting through to the counsellors then when she first arrived. Her and Peter had become quite good friends, he knew what to say or what not to say. Georgie was just a fun, and flirty kind of guy.
Although Clary hadn't said anything to anyone, she knew it was her birthday tomorrow. Her heart ached knowing she wouldn't see her family or Jace. Jace. Her heart ached every time she thought about him.
She missed his hugs, squeezing, soft, sneak one from behind. Just the feel of his skin touching hers. His soft lips touching her. The way he was careful with her, as though she'd break into a million pieces. His hands leaving hot trails where ever he touched. But mostly just the sight of him. His smiles, frowns, pouts, grins, his laugh, his voice. Even his egotistical attitude.
"Clary." I voice broke through her thoughts.
It was Georgie.
"Hmmm?"
He rolled his eyes at her.
"You were day dreaming about this so called 'boyfriend' again, weren't you?" He teased.
"He's real, Georgie."
"I'll believe it when I see it." He huffed, crossing his arms in fake annoyance.
Clary laughed and rolled her eyes at him.
Two days after she arrived the things that she asked for had arrived. Jace knew exactly what she was talking about. He had sent her 15 un read books and her iPod with the headphones wrapped around it. Every night she read her book until it was lights out and then fell asleep to her music.
Georgie threw a xbox control at Clary.
"Play with me." He pleaded.
"So long as you don't say those three words in a sentence again." Clary replied
Georgie laughed.
They sat on the couch playing some warfare game. Clary didn't think they'd allow something so violent in a place like this, but they did. Georgie reached over and tried to mess with her control because she was winning.
"No cheating!" She said.
"Not cheating!"
"Just afraid of a girl beating you?" She teased.
He shot her a look before they continued playing.
A few hours later Georgie gave up and quit, so Clary did too. She was sitting on an armchair reading one of her books when the lady that brought her here, came into the room.
"Clary. May I speak with you for a moment?" The woman asked.
"Someone's in trouble." Georgie whispered.
She followed the lady down the hall until they emerged into the 'reception' area.
"I have some great news!" The woman said, smiling.
"I'm leaving?" Clary asked sarcastically.
"Well, yes and no. We know your birthday is tomorrow and we thought it would be good for you to spend the day with your friends and family."
"Really!" Clary shouted.
The lady nodded.
"Thank you. Thank you so much!" Clary said, smiling like an idiot.
She would get to see Jace, and her family of course. But how she missed Jace.
The rest of the day went quite slowly. But it dragged around the dinner finally. She didn't know people were talking to her until Georgie flicked a pea at her.
"Hey." She said and flicked it back at him.
He rolled his eyes, "what are you thinking about?"
"Tomorrow. I finally get to get out of here, even if it is a day. I get to see my friends and" she smiled like an idiot, "Jace."
Georgie rolled his eyes, "going to have hot sex with him or something?" He teased.
She glared at him, "shut up."
"So you are!"
"No!"
"Prude." He teased.
She glared at him and flicked peas at him.
"Oh stop it. Both of you." Derek said, kicking Georgie underneath the table.
"Fun police." Georgie murmured.
When Clary woke up in the morning she found a pair of her favourite dark wash ripped jeans, pale blue sweater and blue Chuck Taylor's. She chucked her clothes on and laced up her shoes. She quickly raced to the bathroom and brushed out her curls, so they hung down her back and she double checked her ring and necklace.
She sat on the bed in her room, waiting and waiting. Finally the woman entered and gestured for Clary to follow her. People where already up and wondering around. Georgie followed them.
"Georgie, you can't come with us." The woman said in a stern voice.
"I'm just seeing Clary out." He said in an innocent voice.
"You don't need to." Clary said, raising her eyebrows at him.
"But you look so damn delicious in those jeans and sweater, I must see if this so called boyfriend is real." He said, giving her a smug smile.
"Well prepare to be disappointed, because he is real." She said, shaking her head at them.
The woman opened the door, leading into the 'reception' and Georgie wedged in between in, half in and half out.
"Georgie, move." The woman said.
"I'm just watching, I'll stay right here." He said.
Clary stood the the reception and filled out a few pages.
"Clary."
That voice made her whirl around and throw herself at her beautiful golden boyfriend.
He wrapped his strong arms around her, lifting her off the ground. She breathed in his beautiful scent, wrapping her arms around his neck. They stood in the position for a while, before Jace set her down, his arms still wrapped around her small body. His golden eyes bored into hers, she could see the small flecks of blue and lighter hazel in them.
"Oh, Angel. I missed you so much." Jace finally said.
He whipped a silent tear that fell down her cheek. She didn't trust herself to speak so she buried her head in his warm chest.
"I love you, my Angel." He whispered.
"I love you too, my Jacey." She whispered back.
He chuckled at her nickname and squeezed her tighter.
She finally pulled away from his chest and he kissed her lightly on the lips, which made her smile. She had missed his sweet, soft kisses.
"Do I have to fill anything out?" Jace asked, the woman, not letting go of Clary.
"No, Jocelyn already did." The woman said.
So Clary and Jace left. She glanced back to see if she could see Georgie, but he seemed to have disappeared. Clary shivered when they got outside, it had definitely gotten colder for the week that she had been there.
She smiled when she spotted her fixed pick up truck sitting in the parking lot.
"Your mom said I could drive it down here." Jace explained.
He helped her into the truck and stood beside her. When she sat in the truck she was always the same height as Jace, well a little taller. She swivelled around, and Jace stood in between her legs.
"I missed you, so much." He said, kissing her hand, where her ring sat.
"So did I." Clary said, kissing his check softly.
Jace climbed into the truck and they started the drive back to home. Clary reached out and twined her hand with Jace's free one.
"I don't belong there." She whispered.
"I know. Jocelyn is away, working it all out. The latest news we have is that she may be able to get you out in a month." Jace said sadly.
"A month. I don't want to be in there that long. Your birthdays in 10 weeks, and I want to graduate school." Clary said, sadly.
"I know, that's what Jocelyn saying. Schools important and you need to finish it." Jace said, squeezing her hand comforting her.
They finally arrived at Clary's place, Jace pinned in the code and they pulled up. It seem awfully quiet, Clary grew suspicious. Jace led her inside and out to the deck, when...
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" Everybody shouted.
Izzy, Emma, Simon, Jules, Magnus and Alec all stood there, with big grins on their faces.
"Oh, guys. You scared me half to hell!" She shouted, whipping happy tears out of her eyes.
"Oh, come here you big sook!" Izzy said, hugging her tightly.
Everyone hugged Clary and said they where so happy to see her and started crying of course.
Clary and all her friends always had an agreement that only her birthday, they didn't buy her anything. She always had what she needed, and just being with them was enough. So they all sat down, Clary on Jace's lap and talked and laughed like old times.
"Is it like hell in there?" Emma asked.
"Yes and no. But I kind of, uhhh, went off at a few counsellors..." She said, biting her lip trying to hide a smile.
Alec groaned, "why Clary?" He said, shaking his head.
"They are very pushy." She said matter-of-factly.
"What did you do?" Simon asked, laughing.
"I yelled at them of course, there may have been a few cases of flying chairs and maybe flying computer...they should really get a paranormal expert in there." Clary said, nodding.
Everyone laughed, Jace's rumbling through her, making her relax. After a few hours, everybody left, hugging her tightly and saying they would see her soon or break her out of that place.
So it just left Clary and Jace, together, alone.
"Come with me." Jace said, leading her up the stairs and to her bedroom.
He sat her down on her bed and disappeared.
"Jace! What are you doing?" She asked.
He reappeared, hands behind his back.
"I know everyone said not to get you a present, but I had too. I know you have it all, but I'm pretty sure, you don't have this." He said, holding out the wrapped present.
He sat down beside her and smiled shyly as she opened it.
She was silent as she flicked open the scrap books of pictures of Jace and Clary. She could feel tears wheeling up in her eyes. This meant more to her, than anything. It wasn't just some clothes or shoes that would get worn out and thrown away, these where memorise, trapped in a book for whenever she wanted to remember.
"It's corny isn't it?" Jace asked shyly.
"No. No, Jace. It's perfect. Thank you." She said, setting it down and kissing him.
He whipped the tears off her face and smiled, "you like it?"
"I love it."
He grinned at her and picked her up and set her on his lap, so she was straddling his sitting figure.
"I missed you." She whispered.
"What did you miss?" He asked, setting his hand on her hips.
"Everything. Your touch, your kiss, you laying beside me, your hot breath on my neck, you hands touching me. Everything." She whispered, leaning in closer.
"You know your 18 now..." Jace said, running his hands slowly up her body.
"I know...but not today." She whispered, "I just need you here with me."
He smiled, "okay. But does that mean no kissing? Or touching?" He whispered, leaning closer towards her lips.
"Hmmmmm, not sure." Clary teased, leaning back.
"Angel. Let me kiss you." He said, his hot breath on her neck.
"I don't know if I even want your kisses anymore." She teased more.
Jace flipped her so she was laying on her back, him in between her legs.
Her breathing picked up, "maybe I can convince you otherwise." He whispered, closing the gap between their mouths.
It was a hard and hungry kiss, the complete opposite to their usual soft and slow kisses. But Clary liked the change right now.
Jace instantly opened her mouth with his, slipping his tongue into her mouth. Clary moaned softly at the feeling of his body pressed against her. She could feel nearly every part of him. His nose the side of hers, his lips on hers, his tongue sliding against hers. His hands were beside Clary's head, holding himself up, his arms lay against hers. His chest was pressed hard against hers, his hard stomach pressed against hers, and his hip bones rubbing slightly against her. Her could feel the slight bulge in his jeans, as he pressed closer her.
Clary's mind had never wandered that far down before, but she couldn't help it. She couldn't deny, that she want him. She wanted him bad. Especially as his body rubbed against her as he kissed. She could feel him through his jeans, getting harder the longer they kissed. And she wanted it.
"Jace." She moaned into the kiss.
He liked this, and braced one of his hands on her hips, low on her hip.
Her body throbbed, wanting him.
"I think I'm turning into one of those sexually tense, horny teenagers." She gasped, between the kiss.
He smiled at this, "then you finally know my frustration. Not with you, but..." He whispered, grinding his body against her for a moment, making his growing hardness to press into her softness.
She gasped, "I definitely too." She said, gasping still.
Clary reached down to his shirt as Jace started kissing her neck. She tugged at it and Jace slipped it off, throwing it somewhere in her room. She ran her hands over his smooth skin and muscled chest, abs, and his V line, feeling the light trail of hair the lead below Jace's pants.
Jace moaned against her neck, kissing her where her pulse was beating rapidly, making her squirm.
"Clary!" Clary heard the voice shout her name from the bottom of the stairs case.
Jace quickly scrambled off her, in desperate search of his shirt.
"Mom." Clary called back.
"Where's my shirt!" Jace whisper shouted, holding his hands up.
Clary looked around frantically, "I don't know!" She whisper shouted back.
Jace stood there frozen, freaking out. Her mom entered the room and Jace quickly leant against Clary's tall bookshelf, in an attempt to look natural.
"Heyyy Jocelyn." Jace said awkwardly, trying to smile.
Her mom looked at Jace then Clary, "what's going on?" Her mom asked.
"Uhhhh...what do you mean?" Clary asked, trying to look casual.
Her mom look at Jace and Clary, "please I'm not an idiot. First of all Jace is shirtless, you idiots. Then of course there's you two trying to pull the whole 'act natural' stance-which is totally failing right now. Oh, then there's the shirt-which is obviously Jace's- hanging off the freaking ceiling fan." Jocelyn said, shaking her head.
Jace glanced up the fan, which of course his shirt was handing off, he looked at Clary.
'How the fuck did it get there?' He mouthed to Clary.
'You threw it!' She mouthed back.
Jocelyn shook her head at them both, "anyway. It's your birthday, Clary. So happy birthday!" She said, hugging Clary.
"Thanks mom." Clary said.
"Join me downstairs, when your both socially acceptable. I need to talk." Her mom said, before leaving.
"So first it was me being caught in your room shirtless, by your mom. Now it's you being caught shirtless in my room, by my mom. We're wonderful at this, aren't we?" Clary added sarcastically.
Jace stretched his body up, yanking his shirt of the fan. Clary gloried in the sight of his body stretched out like a cat. Then he slipped his shirt on.
"The best." He added, with a sly smile.
She shook her head and slapped his arm playfully.
They met her mom downstairs, sitting down on the stools in the kitchen, facing her.
"I have wonderful news!" Jocelyn said, smiling happily.
Jace and Clary stared at her expectantly.
"You'll be out in the next week or two." Jocelyn said.
"It's definitely better than a month." Clary added.
"Oh, at least be happy about it. You'll be able to finish school, and be there for Magnus and Alec's wedding!" Jocelyn said.
"Of course I'm happy!" Clary said, jumping up from her stool and hugging her mother.
"Consider it your birthday present." Jocelyn said, smiling.
The three of them spent the rest of the day watching movies together, until Clary had to back to her own version of hell.
"I don't want to." Clary groaned as they where buzzed through the front door.
"I don't want you to either. But a week...or two." Jace said, holding her in the reception.
She groaned, "they make up where baggy, blue clothes all day." She whined.
"And I'm sure you still still very sexy in them." Jace teased, kissing her softly.
"I love you!" Jace called she she was lead away.
"I love you too!" She called back.
"I'll see you soon!"
And soon couldn't come soon enough
