Because I'm in an usually good mood and also currently eating a bowl of lettuce, I have decided to update early.

ALSO!

THOSE OF YOU WHO HAVE NOT READ 'DAUGHTER OF SMOKE AND BONE' HAVE NO LIVED! It is one of the most amazing books I've ever read. So you should read. Or you'll be technically dead to me.

O.o.O.o.O

"I officially hate furniture shopping." Jace groaned.

"Well too bad, your guys agreed to come along!" Izzy said.

"We didn't think it'd be this boring!" Simon groaned.

Clary and Izzy had managed to find apartments in the same building, right across from each other so they agreed to go shopping for furniture together. Jace and Simon agreed at the time, but 1 hour in they started complaining.

"Do you want me to buy the wrong TV or couch for you man cave?" Izzy shot at Simon.

"No." He groaned.

"Why am I here, Angel?" Jace groaned.

"It's punishment." She said, shooting him a glare.

A smirk played on his lips.

"What happened?" Izzy asked, frowning.

Clary huffed and pulled down the scarf on her neck.

"Is that a hickey!" Izzy exclaimed.

"Can you say it any louder!" Clary hissed.

Simon snickered and high fived Jace.

"But yes, it is. And I had to go to go and talk to my mom yesterday! And she's like, take off your scarf Clary, it's hot! But I couldn't because of him!" Clary said, glaring at Jace again.

"Jace!" Izzy said disapprovingly.

"What? She didn't seem to mind when I was giving it to her. It's a hickey signifying my love." He said, smirking and shrugging.

Izzy and Clary glared at him, he threw his hands up in surrender and Clary slapped the back of his head.

"Ow!" Jace said, rubbing the back of his head.

They walked around, looking at dinning tables. Well Izzy and Clary were, Simon and Jace were playing footies.

"Oh, how old are you two!" Izzy exclaimed.

Jace tripped Simon over, "I win!" He yelled, throwing his hands in the air.

Clary sighed and shook her head, "10 years old it seems." She grumbled.

Jace came up behind Clary and wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Am I forgiven yet, Angel?" Jace whispered in her ear.

"No." Clary said.

"Mmmm. Well just for the record, you really liked it when I was giving you the hickey, Angel." He whispered.

"Because I didn't exactly notice, I though you were kissing me. And I was kind of distracted because we were having sex!" Clary whispered at him.

Jace moaned, "that's the best time to give a hickey. And you loved it, I know you did, Angel." He whispered, biting her neck.

She slapped his arm, "are you trying to give me more marks. Stop it!" She hissed at him, ignoring the flare of heat that travelled through her body.

His arms tightened and he buried his face in her neck and scarf.

"Just admit that you liked it." He mumbled.

"No." Clary said.

"I know you did, because it was right..." He cut off, kissing where her pulse beat in her neck and where the hickey was making her squirm, "there." He whispered.

"You know I love it when you kiss me there, just not give me a hickey!" She said, slapping his arm.

He chuckled, "mmmm, I love you, Angel." He said.

Clary pulled away from him, "I love you too, now help me shop!" Clary said, pulling him to where Izzy and Simon were.

"Jace! Come on! They'll be here any minute with the furniture!" Clary said shoving her boyfriend into the elevator.

"Okay, okay." Jace said.

They rode the elevator up to there apartment floor and Clary unlocked the apartment. Izzy and Simon weren't back yet, they were still choosing furniture for Simons man cave. Jace didn't want a man cave, he just wanted his piano and library.

"Angel, calm down." Jace said, wrapping his arms around her waist.

She leant back into his body, "I'm sorry, I'm excited a suppose." She said.

Jace kissed her neck, "you better be." He whispered.

Clary shuddered, "don't do this to me now." She whispered, closing her eyes.

"Do what, Angel?" Jace teased, running his hands down her hips and her legs, his hot breath on neck.

"Jace." She breathed, placing her hands over his.

Jace softly kissed her neck, when he reached her pulse he nipped lightly, making Clary gasp and lean further back into his body.

He chuckled and pulled away, walking back to the front door.

"Jace!" Clary cried.

"You said, not now." He said, smirking.

She groaned, "no, that's not fair. Come back here." She said, running for him.

She jumped onto him, hooking her legs around his waist and her arms around his neck. Jace's eyes darkened, and he pushed Clary's back onto the wall, making her gasp at the contact of their bodies.

"Angel." Jace groaned, placing one hand on her butt to keep her blanched, the other on her hip.

Clary bit her lip, knowing it drove him crazy.

Jace groaned and smashed his lips to hers. Clary gasp into the kiss, a hot rush flowing through her body. The kiss was hard and uncontrollable, as if they were trying to devour each other. Clary thread her hands into his silk curls and tugged on them harshly, causing Jace to moan into her mouth. His tongue dove into her mouth, sliding against her own, fighting for dominance.

Jace's hand groped her butt, making her jerk against him. They both moaned at the contact and he pressed impossibly closer, the kiss becoming frantic.

They both pulled back, panting when there was a knock at the door.

Jace groaned, "bad timing." He muttered.

Clary ran her hand through Jace hair, smoothing it down, "we will finish that later." She whispered, brushing a kiss against his lips.

Jace shuddered against her and Clary jumped down from his body, and headed for the front door. It was the furniture movers as she expected. Clary sat back, watching as Jace helped them, move all their furniture in. Their furniture. Clary and Jace's. They were living together. Clary smiled uncontrollably.

She watched as Jace helped them manoeuvre the lounge into the lounge room. His muscle tense, a little sweat on his brow and shirt. She couldn't wait until they were alone later, and their bed was set up. Or wasn't. There was plenty of other rooms and they didn't have to worry about their parents walking in on them.

Kitchen? Lounge room? Bathroom? Shower sex...

Izzy bounced in, jumping up on the counter next to Clary.

"I can't believe this is actually happening." Izzy squealed.

"I know." Clary said, smiling.

"I'm sad Emma and Jules won't be here though." Izzy said.

"We'll see them soon. For sure. They wouldn't ditch us because of college." Clary said.

"We'll see them in a couple weeks anyway at Magnus and Alec's wedding." Izzy sung happily.

"I can't wait for the wedding! I can't believe I'm actually going to be a groomswoman." Clary said, laughing.

Clary and Izzy sat there and talked with each other, mostly about Alec and Magnus's wedding.

"Where's Simon?" Clary asked.

"Transporting his precious electronics and games. And his new high tech, something, fancy computer is being delivered and he doesn't want to miss it." Izzy said, shaking her head, but smiling.

"Do you think you and Simon will get married?" Clary asked.

Izzy seemed stunned for a moment, "I've never really thought about it. I mean...yeah I think we will. Not in a rush though. But I can definitely see myself walking down the aisle in my amazing dress, and my Simon waiting at the end for me." She said, grinning.

Clary smiled at her friend, "I'm so glad you never gave up on me." She said.

"I'd never give up on you." Izzy said, side hugging her.

"Why are we hugging?" Jace asked, appearing, sweaty and sexy looking.

Izzy cringed, "Jace, you're covered in sweat. Gross." She said.

He smirked, "what's that? You want a hug?" He asked.

Izzy jumped off the counter, "don't you dare!" She said.

"Come here, Iz!" Jace said, running towards her.

Clary laughed and Izzy swatted Jace away.

"I will stab you with my heel!" Izzy warned, sticking up her stiletto clad foot.

"Fair enough." Jace said, holding his hands up in surrender.

"Isabelle!" Simon called.

"Coming!" Izzy called back, "I better go see what he's broken." She joked.

Clary and Jace laughed as she left.

There was still furniture being brought in, but Jace reclined next to Clary.

"Hey! Can I have some help!" A voice called.

Clary and Jace jumped up and headed around the the kitchen. A guy stood there with a fridge on a trolley thing.

"Hey, dude. I don't want scratch your wall, can you guide me in?" The guy asked, hiding behind the fridge.

Jace jumped in and helped him, while Clary cringed when it came to close to the wall. But it was soon slotted in the kitchen, up and running. Clary leaned on Jace and he kissed the top of her head. The guy stepped out from behind the fridge, bringing his trolley with him.

"Holy shit. Matt? Is that you?" Jace suddenly said.

The guy turned around in surprise, "what-Jace! No way!" He said.

Clary stood there confused as Jace man hugged each other.

"Clary, this is Matt. Matt, Clary." Jace said.

Clary shook Matts hand, "uh, hi." She said, awkwardly.

"I see Jace has settled down and with a beautiful girl." Matt said.

Clary smiled and Matt playfully punched Jace.

"I was friends with Matt when, uh..." Jace trailed off.

"When we were idiotic teenagers." Matt finished.

"Oh, you...oh, okay." Clary said, nodding.

She knew Jace meant Matt was one of his 'friends' the he used to hang around in his bad days.

Matt and Jace started talking and Clary tuned out, looking around their apartment. Nothing was really in the positions she wanted them, but all of it was there and in the correct rooms. She'd have fun bossing Jace around later, telling him where everything must be.

"Anyway, I better get back to work." Matt said.

"Yeah of course, man. Well, you know where I live." Jace said and they did that weird handshake.

Clary said goodbye and they were left in their apartment alone. Clary squealed and jumped on Jace's back, wrapping her legs around his waist and hanging her arms over his shoulders. He laughed and held her legs so she didn't fall.

"We have an apartment." Clary said, resting her head on Jace's shoulder.

He walked around to the lounge room and opened the curtains, bathing the apartment in light. They looked out at the city below, milling around busily. Clary kissed Jace's neck lightly making him shiver.

"We should go see if Izzy and Simon need any help." She said.

"Give me a kiss first, Angel." He said, bending his head back.

Clary giggled and kissed him softly.

Jace smiled, "okay, let's go." He said.

Jace piggy backed Clary over to Izzy and Simons apartment. They helped them unpack and move their furniture and Simon and Izzy did the same for their apartment.

It was late and Jace and Clary finally collapsed onto their couch after freeing Aussie from the bathroom. She laid her head on Jace's lap, her eyes dropping shut and he leaned his head back.

"I am so tired." Clary murmured.

"Ditto." Jace said.

They laid there in silence, both of them slowly falling asleep. Aussie sniffed around the apartment before settling on the ground beside the couch.

"Hey, Angel." Jace said, his voice drowsy.

"What is it, Jacey?" She said.

Jace manoeuvred so he was laying next to Clary on the couch, her head on his chest.

"I wanna marry you." He said.

Clary smiled, "I know. So do I." She said.

"I wanna marry you now, Angel." He said, his eyes closed.

He grabbed her right hand and played with her ring.

"Well I want a wedding." She said.

The corner of Jace's lip quirked up, "can you plan a wedding in a night?" He asked.

"No. That's impossible." Clary said.

Jace huffed, "can I marry you soon?" He asked.

"Of course." She said.

"How soon?" He asked.

"Soon." She said.

"I wanna marry you very soon. I want you to be my wife." He said.

Clary couldn't help but smile, "I want you to be my husband." She said.

Jace smiled, his eyes still closed, still playing with her ring.

"I love you, Angel." Jace whispered.

"I love you too, Jacey." Clary whispered.
