We start this chapter a little differently than most chapters. Not with the craziness of the author or the random antics of Pinkie Pie, or anything you are familiar with when it comes to this story of humor and fun. We start following a small blue bird, tweeting happily as the sun started to set in Equestria. It flew through the town, passing streamer after streamer, balloon after balloon, as confetti rained and cascaded everywhere in Ponyville. Music could be heard a distance away, and the bird emitted a tweet and swiftly flew to the location of the music. It seemed like party music, upbeat and pumping. The bird reached what is known as the library in Ponyville, Twilight's library to be exact. All around the front were ponies of every shape and size, unicorns, pegasi and the common earth pony; they were all there. Even some higher class ponies from Canterlot and Manehatten, and some lower class ones from Apploosa. The all were gathered around the library, bustling in joy of the full town celebration. But what is this celebration for you may ask? Well, let's listen in as Princess Celestia herself teleports onto the balcony of the library.
"Ponies of Equestria, it is with great honor and delight, that I announce the sixteenth birthday of Gold the Fox!" she announced and the whole crowd roared with glee.
The fox himself walked onto the balcony as the princess teleported away. Gold threw his hands up the crowd reacting with a louder roar.
"Okay then, you ponies really like me. FIREWORKS!" Gold yelled over the crowd and shot a multitude of Eon orbs in the sky and exploded into brilliant blue fireworks, the last one making a big one and a big boom.
Gold jumped down from the balcony into an empty space in the crowd as he walked to the food table to get some cake and ice cream. Gold picked up a fork and tried to eat the cake, but the fork bent when it hit the cake. Pinkie bounced to him from behind him and giggled with glee.
"Don't you like it! It's the fake cake prank!" she giggled, had trolled another person.
"Reaaaaaaaaal funny Pinkie, good one." Gold said, taking a bite of the real ice cream.
"Hey Gold!" someone said behind the fox in question.
It was the trio of Aura, Blade and Glimpse that was coming, Blade being the one to call out the fox.
"Oh hey. Here, have some cake." Gold said with a chuckle, chucking the plastic cake as Blade.
Blade caught the fake cake and flung it back at Gold's head, connecting with his forehead.
"Well, there. That was my present, see yah!" Blade said, running away laughing.
"Ow." is all Gold said.
"And I already gave you my present." Glimpse said to the fox.
"And that would be?" Gold asked.
"Letting you have Twilight."
"Oh gee, thanks." Gold said sarcastically as the hedgehog walked away and then Gold looked at Aura. "So...do you have an actual present?"
Aura thought for a moment before answering, "I do. But it's a surprise. You need to put this blindfold on." Aura said, handing the fox a blindfold.
"Oh boy. Don't do anything stupid." Gold said, tying the blindfold on.
"Oh I won't. AJ, I NEED SIXTEEN BUCKS PLUS ONE FOR GOOD LUCK!" Aura yelled before running away.
"WAIT, WHAT!"
Applejack came running up to Gold and bucked or kicked or whatever you want to call it him sixteen times plus one for good luck.
"Again, OW!" Gold said after the bucking, ripping the blindfold off. "Now...where is the REAL cake!"
"LOOK OUT GOLD, THE CAKE IS A LIE!" Unknown yelled to the fox.
"What?"
Suddenly, Gold's actual cake dropped onto his head, making a mess everywhere on him and around him. Bright the phoenix was the one who dropped it.
"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!" both Unknown and Bright yelled.
"Thanks...a lot." Gold said with a sigh, but licking some of the frosting off of his face.
"Hey Gold, happy birthday." three people said at once behind the fox.
Gold turned around to see three people he hasn't met yet, namely Angel, Connor, and Rage.
"Um...thanks? I don't really know you three, but I'm sure I will..." Gold said, turning to the readers. "In the future."
Gold walked around talking to some people. Some of the people included Night, who didn't really seem to care for the party (what a party pooper), Red, who had drawn a sprite picture for Gold for his present, and Grabarc who was...eyeing the ponies present at the party, oh boy. Next he saw Blade.
"Hey Gold, happy birthday." Blade said.
"Hey thanks. No offense, but..."
"Oh yeah, your present. Well, your present is that I convinced Ensis to chase after you for a couple minutes, so...HAVE FUN!" Blade said, laughing and running away.
"FUDGE YOU BLADE!" Gold said, already running since Ensis had come from no where and started chasing him.
As he ran, he ran into the combined group of Sora, Anti-Sora, and Krain, sending all three of them into the random chocolate fountain Pinkie had bought. He also ran past Alex and his kids (Golden and Metal) and immediately seeing the fox, Golden Dawn jumped onto his head and latched on. He also stepped on Taylor's foot, which caused Taylor to get mad and start chasing him as well. Ensis had already given up, but Taylor persisted. Taylor used her telekinesis to pick up Bello and Meteor, with them flailing their arms and flung them at the running fox. After dodging them, getting sixteen punches from Taylor and getting Golden off his head, eh walked to the door of the library and leaned against it. But then suddenly, a certain unicorn pulled him into the library and locked the door. THE END.
"Wait, wait, wait, what about us? We can't leave this thing without us!" Xavier said, the whole party frozen in time as he talked.
"Of course we can." Nia said, popping up next to him.
"Wait...are Twilight and Gold doing that thing from that troll in that one chapter of Darkened Dawn?" Xavier said, motioning to the door with his thumb.
"Oh boy, I think they are. I guess that's Gold's present from Twilight." Nia said, shrugging her shoulders.
"Wait...we are breaking the fourth wall, aren't we?"
"Well, we are the kids of the king of wall breaking."
"True."
"...now what?"
"I don't know..."
"Should we just...leave...?"
"I guess."
"And let the author end it?"
"Seems reasonable."
"Okay, great. Let's go." and the twins walked away.

"OKAY, AUTHOR, END IT!" Xavier said, popping in from the side of the scene.
Okay fine! HI EVERYONE, I'M SIXTEEN! My birthday was today, it started at 12:12 this morning. I have to say...that you guys are probably one of the best birthday presents I have had. Of course there's the money I got and my family and all those other things, but seriously, you guys are one of the best. I have made so many friends and even "fans" on here, and I cannot thank you enough for following me, reading my stories, and sticking with me to the end. Thank you all, really. Thank you.
