I'm so sorry we haven't been writing for a while, but if you need a refresher on what's been happening then reread chapter five. Anyways, here's chapter six; enjoy!
"Lauren and I aren't dating. We're divorced."
"Say what now?" I ask, my eyes wide. "Wait, but I seriously thought you were dating? Or at least married!" I shout "Wait, it should be the other way around."
"Tris."
"I mean, you both have a kid-"
"Tris."
"How is it you aren't dating? I mean-"
"TRIS!" He shouts, getting my attention. "You didn't have to shout." I pout, rubbing my poor ears. He ignores my complaint towards him. "Lauren and I are divorced. There's nothing between us." He says slowly. I smile evilly, rubbing my hands together. "Tris, you're starting to scare me…" Four says, and I stop rubbing my hands abruptly.
"TRIS!" Lynn shouts, worry in her tone. I look at her with a raised eyebrow. "Peter's outside! He's coming in, everybody act normal!" Lynn shouts, and I try to run over the gate, but I trip falling on my face and staying there. I hear the front door open and footsteps. But the footsteps stop very quickly, and what do you know they stand right beside me.
"Oh my god." I hear a voice say in annoyance. "Why are you all laying on the ground like retarded squids?" Peter asks, and I stand up quickly. "And why is that…" Peter hisses in amusement towards Uriah "…Dressed like a frog?" Uriah gasps in horror and sinks to his knees. "Is this what the world has come to?!" He cries, rocking back and forth.
"I know what you're dressed as…" I mumble, subconsciously looking at Peter. He snaps his eyes towards me, narrowing them. "And what might that be?" He raises his eyebrow, and I stand my ground. "Come here." I say, smiling sweetly. He narrows his eyes and walks right next to me. "Closer." He shuffles a little closer. "Closer!" I now have an evil smile on my face.
"WHAT ARE THOSE?" I shout, pointing to his crocs. The whole daycare bursts out laughing, rolling around like rolley polley's. He looks at his shoes and then back at me, glaring. "Hehe… I think I'm gonna go now." I say, and run back to hide behind Will.
"Why didn't you run behind me?" Uriah whines. "I'm manly too." This causes Zeke to snort. "Yeah, okay Uriah. Keep thinking that." Peter says, walking into his office.
After that the whole daycares falls silent. And not an awkward silence, the type of silence you hear when something bad is about to happen. Did that even make sense? Oh well…
We all look towards Jake, who is innocently smiling with the blower in his hand. "Jake, sweetie." Christina says sweetly. "Put the blower away." This causes Jake to giggle evilly. "Jake don't… AH!" Marlene screams as he turns on the blower, and charges towards her.
She dodges out of the way, only to fall into the water thingy, knocking it over and spilling on her head. "NO! MY COSTUME!" She shouts, looking like a drenched feline. Jake turns his attention towards me, and then smiles innocently.
"AH!" I scream as he points it at me. My face blows around in all kinds of ways. He walks towards me, which is pushing me into the rest of the corner that the gang is hiding. We sit Peter walk out of his office, and freeze as he sees us.
He jumps over the fence, ready to grab Jake, when Jake points the blower at him, pushing him into our corner. "Well, we're doomed." I say, closing my eyes and singing a funeral song. "NO NEED TO FEAR!" We hear someone shout. "THE AMAZING URI IS HERE!" We see Uriah running towards us with a net. A freaking net.
He's running in slow motion. That is until he trips on a part of the net entangling himself in. "AH!" He screams like a little girl. "I can't believe for a minute that, that hippo was gonna save us." Zeke says, putting his head in his hands.
"AHHHHH!" Someone shouts, and we see Emily letting out a warrior cry charging towards Jake and the other kids who have imprisoned us in a corner. She body slams him, making him drop the blower. I quickly grab the blower, turning it off and putting it out of his reach. Well trying, I'm too short to be able to put it on top of the cabinet.
I feel hands wrap around my small waist and lift me up into the air. I place the blower on top of the cabinet, and look to see Four lifted me up. His face shows hints of amusement, and I feel my face heat up. "Thanks." I mumble, feeling slightly embarrassed.
"You're welcome." He smiles, and I look back towards the gang to see them all cleaning up the mess. I smile and walk back towards my friends, gasping as I see Uriah has taken out the pet iguana. "Oh my god…" I wait for Lynn to open the gate, which she takes her jolly ole time in doing, finally the gate opens. I run towards Uriah, and grab the iguana.
"Time out." I tell Uriah, pointing to the time out corner. He shakes his head. "Now." I say in a deadly tone, and he walks towards the chair, pouting. "Why can't we play with Cheese?" One of the kids asks.
"Oh we can, Uriah's just not allowed too because everything he holds, he destroys." I say, looking plainly at him. He puts his head down, and I suddenly feel bad.
That thought stops quickly as all hell breaks loose. And it all started with someone saying, where's the snake?
"Okay, everybody stay calm!" Zeke yells, as Uriah stands on top of the chair screaming. "Uriah! You're not helping!" Marlene shouts, trying to calm all of the kids down.
Everybody stops what they're doing, and turn towards me. "What?" I ask, but freeze up when I feel something slithering up my back. "Get. It. Off." I say, still frozen in place.
I sigh in relief as I feel someone remove it. "Tris." Four calls me over. "Yeah?" His face looks concerned. "Lauren's opening another daycare, right down the road."
Ohhh plot twist, that bitch Lauren. Anyways review, favorite, follow. Until next time.
