August 5th 1963 part two

The outside of the house looked like any other house, but the inside was splendid. The walls were a beautiful blend of silver and green. The furniture neat and pristine.

What caught Bellatrix eye the most was the mural of snakes coiled around a tree and lions roaring at the bottom of tree on the ceiling.

Bellatrix knew her father must have been to the house before because he knew actually what room Tom was in.

The room was rather plain compared to the rest of the house. The walls were grey and the only furniture in the room was a table and twelve chairs.

Bellatrix and Cygnus had been at the house for an hour and Tom had only addressed her once. He was more interested in talking to her father on which families were definitely on his side and who they could use to spy on the ministry.

The spy had to be someone know would suspect.

'Why don't you just Imperio a mudblood to spy on the ministry no one would suspect a mudblood' Bellatrix suggested interrupting her father and Tom.

'It wouldn't work' Cygnus told his daughter.

'Of course it would… know one would think that we would lower ourselves to use a mudblood to get information' Bellatrix huffed annoyed that her father didn't agree.

'A interesting idea' Tom told Bellatrix.

'Its the best idea I've heard all day' Bellatrix said arrogantly.

'Bellatrix don't be rude' Cygnus said glaring at his daughter.

'Cygnus Bella isn't being rude she's just expressing her opinion… weren't you Bella?' Tom said his voice sounding firm, but soothing at the same time.

'Yes just expressing an opinion' Bellatrix said smiling sweetly at her father and Tom.

The discussion on whether they should a mudblood or not went on for a short while. When Tom dismissed Cygnus and said he wanted to speak to Bellatrix privately.

Cygnus thought briefly about protesting to stay with his daughter, but the look on the Dark Lords face made it pretty clear that any type of protest would be pointless.

Bellatrix watched her father leave with a mixture of curiosity and nervousness.

It took only a few seconds after Cygnus had closed the door for Tom to get to the point of why he had wanted to Bellatrix privately without her father.

Tom asked Bellatrix to spy on her family and their closet friends. He needed to know who was indeed loyal and those who were working against him.

Bellatrix felt a momentary feeling of discomfort at spying on her family and friends, but all it took for her discomfort to go away was nine simple words from Tom "You are the only one I can trust Bella".
