Bellatrix had written to Tom, telling him everything that she had heard between her father and Abraxas.
Tom reply had been short,
Dear Bella,
Do nothing and say nothing; I shall deal with the situation.
Until then act as if you never heard the conversation.
Tom.
Bellatrix had wanted to keep the letter even though it was so short, but knowing her parents would be keeping a closer eye on her; she burnt the letter.
Bellatrix found herself struggling with acting like she hadn't the conversation the night before.
She wanted nothing more to than to wind her parents up to gain a reaction, but Tom would be unhappy and considering her father was losing favour with him.
It was up to her to keep her family in his good graces; yes her father losing favour was down to her, but she had no choice.
If her father couldn't tow the line that was his problem and mummy dearest could go to hell, but Andromeda and Narcissa didn't deserve suffer because their parents were weak and unable to see what a great thing it was that Tom had taken an interest in her.
It should make them feel honoured, but from the looks on their faces the night before they felt anything, but honoured.
Which was hard for her to comprehend because her parents had always gone on about how much of great man Tom was and what he was doing would be the saving of their world.
Yet it seemed the fact their daughter being involved in it terrified them.
If they hadn't wanted her involved then maybe they should have kept Tom away from Black Manor and then their paths wouldn't have ever crossed, but have they crossed.
Now what was becoming of it in Bellatrix opinion was glorious and nothing and no one was going to stand in the way of it.
