AN: Behold! The chapter you all have long been waiting (hopefully somewhat patient) for! I apologize for not updating sooner, but my writing style has changed quite a bit so please forgive the differences. I hope this does not disappoint though I will admit it is a bit of a filler chapter before I introduce more characters from Hellsing.

Disclaimer: I do not own Hellsing, that honor is held by the genius Kouta Hirano. Also I make nothing from this, so yeah. Fun times.

'This is a thought.'

"This is regular speech."

"This is what it looks like to piss an immortal off, or to have Alucard in your head."

Previously..

My arm outstretched as I reached out for him, "Vladimir!" The name fell from my lips involuntarily.

He halted at the name causing me to perk up as I continued trying to run towards him, but it was like I was trying to run through molasses.

He looked back over towards me, but his crimson eyes glowed in the darkness.

That was all I remember as was engulfed in darkness. Everything was a blur as I stared up at the ceiling, trying to get my thoughts together as well as to figure out where I was. I danced with a man with red eyes? No, that didn't sound right. His eyes turned red, a rather beautiful shade of crimson like Hell's inferno, cold and calculating, but scalding.

I hummed softly to myself as memories of the cafe returned. 'Poor child...' I thought sadly as I recalled the fact that Alexander was now immortal, 'Our shared blood is a poison to such beauty as death.'

0000 Allaxei's POV 0000

I sat up slowly, leaning back on my arms before scooting back against the headboard of the bed, staring blankly at my ruined clothing. My white dress shirt and vest was stained with blood, as was the thick wool of my pea coat. My left eye twitched as I could feel the dried blood that was caked onto my cheeks from crying. I hated crying, while yes I could make it were I cried salt water like any other human, but control over my form would have been necessary. I glared at my long black and blonde locks that had escaped the hold of the bobby pins.

I looked around, finding two different doors. I sighed softly as I stood, seeing that Alexander had taken off my boots and had set them next to the bed, and walked over to where I presumed the bathroom was. I opened the door and was not disappointed; however, after testing the tap, there was no running water. I grumbled softly as I turned to stare at mirror, glaring at the woman in front of me. Dried blood ran down from her eyes to her neck, standing out against her pale skin. Her hair was black with locks of blonde here and there, and those damn crystal eyes sparkled in the low light.

I sighed softly as I rose my hand, cutting a rip in space and time with my blackened nails, creating an opening into the Abyss. I materialized a clean rag, a change of clothes, and a gallon pitcher of hot water. I cleaned the sink before putting in the stopper and poured in a third of the water left over. I dipped the rag into the clear water before beginning to clean my face, enjoying the momentary heat as I began to gently clear away the blood.

The water had a dark red tint by the time I finished. I pulled the plug before taking handfuls of the warm water and splashed it on my face before sighing softly as I watched the pitcher and rag dissolve into pure energy. I glanced towards the clothes and began to remove my coat and the bloody clothing, silently discarding them into the abyss. I stood there in my underwear, staring into my reflection as I glared at the woman, watching as all the blonde bled from her hair leaving it long and black. Her eyes turned opaque. First black and then a milky white. Her irises were defined by pools of molten silver and accompanied by growing pupils.

I growled as my eyesight became impaired with this form, and the pupil dilated a tad more as they adjusted to where I could see well enough to put on my change of clothes. A black long sleeved shirt was pulled over my head and a pair of light gray jeans conformed nicely to my legs. I plucked the trench coat from the counter, shrugging it on as I began to walk away. My boots returned to my feet as I walked out. I didn't have the energy to front my usual devil-may-care attitude.

I hummed quietly to myself as I walked out, feeling out for Alexander and followed the general direction of his Aura. Soon I found myself in the center hall near the altar of an old church. A small humorous smile graced my lips as I saw the priest kneeling before the altar before my thoughts soured my good mood.

'Born of my kin, my blood poisoned his mortality...' I scowled softly as my eyes darkened, but what was left of my fragmented sanity remained intact.

I silently hid my presence as I sat in the pew behind him, my gaze wandering around the large room that was only lit by the candles from the two candelabra on either side of the altar. My arms lay across the back of the bench as I lounged back. The flickering light created odd shadows on the altar as the smiling faces of angels turned mocking.

My gaze hardened into a glare as a wave of envy flooded me. I felt my teeth sharpening as anger washed away the sinful emotion. My lip curled into a quiet snarl before my head snapped back involuntarily. A bayonet had embedded itself into my forehead as a wave of pain wracked my body. My eyes seemed to cross slightly to glare at the offending holy blade. I hissed softly under my breath as I reached up, my hand grasping the blade, ignoring it biting into my palm as I jerked it from my skull. More than half of the blade had pierced my skull.

My head snapped up as my neck popped back into place. Did I mention earlier that I was immortal?

Alexander had fallen to his knees, several blades clattering sharply to the stone floor. His green eyes widened in shock behind his spectacles at what he had just done. He looked like he had just murdered the Pope. His expression made it impossible for me to muster a glare towards him. Had I of been a ghoul it would have been dead, but considering how he had held more blades, he was more than prepared to stab a vampire in the heart or behead them. A blade to the head and a broken neck would have killed any other human.

"Good shot.." I said, offering a halfhearted smile as I could feel the bone and flesh knit back together. I was proud in the fact that he could take care of himself against any threat should it present itself. My tongue flickered out of my mouth as I licked up the blood that had dripped near my mouth.

"F-forgive me, Mother. I did not-" He stuttered, having broken out of his shock when I spoke, but I cut him off, not wanting to hear it.

"No harm, no foul, Alexander… I had startled you and instinct took over." I said as the blood from the blade slipped into the wound on my palm before it closed as well. I held the clean bayonet, handle first towards him.

He hesitantly took the blade before picking up the others as well, concealing them about his person.

"So… What are we going to do about this Vampire?" I asked, changing the topic.

He sighed softly as he came to sit next to me, looking up at the altar and podium.

Noticing his silence, I spoke again, "I suspect he still lives after you said that the Crusade had failed, and that the Hellsing organization still exists, yes?"

I heard the shift of fabric, guessing he had nodded by the silent seething anger in his aura. With that I continued, "Then.. I suppose a visit to the latest kin of Van Hellsing is in order.." I muttered as I stood, pausing as I felt a hand take hold of my arm.

"Take this..." He said quietly as I felt a piece of warm metal pressing into my palm.

Looking down, I frowned softly seeing his silver cross necklace turning towards him, "Alexander I can't-"

"Take it…" He said firmly as he softly closed my hand around the cross.

A bit of a staring contest ensued between us, emerald on silver. A gentle sigh left my lips as I relented, "Alright.."

I didn't need to unhook the clasp as I looped the long chain over my head. The large pendant rested over my stomach. I felt rather ridiculous wearing such an item around my neck, but I didn't complain.

"I will take care of it…" I promised quietly as I softly leaned down to kiss the top of his head.

"May the Lord forever smile upon us in our time upon this Earth.." He said softly, "And may the gates of Heaven open up for us once our quest is completed."

"May the Ferryman finally accept our fare for safe passage so that our souls may wander the Elysian Fields for eternity.." I said, somewhat countering his blessing.

Alexander looked at me oddly, eliciting a chuckle from me.
