A/N: Oh hi there. So, I'm just going to leave this here. Okay bye.
Shoutout to all you lovely people. I love you guys.
Disclaimer: TMI belongs to Cassie Clare and I love Pink Floyd.
"You guys, know each other?" Jonathan asked, confusion in his voice.
"He doesn't," Clary said quickly. "He just helped me find my class earlier, that's all."
She had been facing Jonathan; her back to Jace but she turned around now, her fire-red hair which she had curled in the morning using her mother's curling iron –in her attempt to look good on her first day– flew about her face.
Jace's eyebrows had shot up and there was a look of mock-hurt on his face."That's all? How quickly you dismiss our chest smacking."
"WHAT?"
Clary turned her eyes from Jace to look at the boy who was standing on his left side that was looking between them with a rather shocked look on his face.
The first thing she noticed were his eyes. They were the deepest blue she had ever seen and immediately drawing her attention to the paleness of his skin. It wasn't a sickly kind of pale, she could see that. He was simply that fair. It was a great contrast to his ink-black hair.
His clothes were baggy. His black shirt had a few holes in them and his jeans were just a little too big for him, but even so Clary could see he was fit. Not overly muscled but not scrawny either. Lean. That's the word. He was lean.
He had a laptop bag slung across his shoulder.
This must be Alex, she thought. Wait, no. Alec. The one who's good with computers.
"We bumped into each other earlier, He helped me find my class because I was lost," she told him.
Although she didn't have to, Clary felt a great need to explain herself.
Jace looked like the type of boy who had a, er, reputation. While that might be highly judgemental of her –for all she knew, he could have taken a purity pledge which she doubted, but still- she didn't want them, especially Jonathan, to think that she knew him in a whole other way.
Great. Now I'm blushing.
"While this has all been very interesting," an irritated voice cut through, "Can we go now? I'm starving." A girl who until then had been leaning on the wall behind Jace now stood next to him.
She was thin and tall; just a few inches shorter than Jace and would tower over Clary. She had pale skin and black hair –the same as Alec, Clary noticed. Unlike Alec's blue eyes though, hers were a dark brown; almost black.
This is Isabelle. Alec's sister. That much is obvious.
She was absolutely gorgeous; wearing a knee-length white dress that accentuated her curves with sky-high leather boots that stopped just above her knees. Her eye make-up was applied perfectly.
Clary disliked her immediately.
She felt boy-ish and unappealing in her beaten-up sneakers and ripped up jeans and her Pink Floyd t-shirt.
She gripped the strap of her backpack tightly.
Now is not the time Clary. Get a grip.
"Right. Well, now that we have all this chest smacking out of our way," Jonathan said, standing next to Clary now, "Isabelle, Alec, meet Clary. I invited her to lunch with us."
Something flashed in Jace's eyes but it was so brief Clary thought she had imagined it.
Isabelle smiled at her though it was not necessarily a warm one, Clary found it much better than Alec's scowl.
Jonathan bounced on the balls of his feet and rubbed his hands together in front of him. "So, Taki's?"
