Chapter 24 - It's Christmas
Max's P.O.V.
December 24, 2013
Its Christmas Eve, and I went to the mall to pay the final payment, and to pick up Fang's gift. A lot might say that I'm doing too much, but I personally think that what I'm doing is a must. He's done so much for me since I moved here. So it's a perfect way of repaying him.
I was home already, wrapping it the best way I can. I got minor paper cuts, but I still managed to finish it with a bow on top. I placed the gift under the tree, followed by everyone else's gifts; Fang let me have them to wrap, said he didn't really want to wrap them anyways. Ella then came downstairs as well, arms filled with gifts too.
"What'd you get Iggy?" I wiggled my eyebrows at her. She blushed at my tease, and said that it wasn't anything particularly special.
"So you ready for tomorrow?"
"Girl, its Christmas, I was born for this holiday." I snorted at her response; typical.

Max's P.O.V.
Max? Maaax?
MAX!?
I woke up to my friends, Ari, and Ella all up in my grill, while I was in bed. They all had their Santa hats on, Ella wearing a pink one, Nudge wearing one that said princess, and Fang wearing a black one; Iggy and Gazzy had the classic red one.
"Wake up Max, it's Christmas!" shouted Fang.
"Alright, alright." I dragged myself out of bed, and dug through my drawers, finally finding my hat, and my beard. Yes, my beard.
I quickly brushed my teeth, and raced down the stairs.
"Merry Christmas everyone!" I said in a deep voice. The adults laughed, shouting Merry Christmas through fits of giggles.
"Max, its time for the runway~!" Ella said.
"Oh no, can't we skip it this year?" I begged.
"No~."
I internally cried. Every year for Christmas, Ella had like a mini runway to see who had the best pajamas with friends and family. I always disliked it, it was pointless for that matter. But I somehow always agreed to it, because you know, it's Christmas.
Ella announced it for everyone to hear. All the guys cheering and all of us lining up. First of all, were of course, the girls. My mom dug out the bag of chocolate coins, and passed them to everyone.
Ella walked down the stairs first, her with a gray shirt and gray sweatpants. Talk about boring right? She was striking stupid poses and blowing kisses. Iggy wolf whistling, throwing the most coins at Ella, she gladly catching them. The others just clapped and threw like one coin, cracking jokes here and there. I could've sworn I heard one of them say something about pimping.
Next was Nudge, in a cami pink crop tank top, and harem pants. And in case you're wondering how I know all of this, Ella use to lock me in a room with nothing but books and videos of clothes. It was torture at its finest. Nudge, who did basically the exact same thing as Ella, but instead of Iggy throwing the most coins, it was Gazzy, the love of her life. I think…
Then it was my turn. I was in a blue sweater, and black leggings. Beautiful, I know. To my surprise Fang threw all of his chocolate coins at me, same thing with Ari.
"Looks like Max won the girls one this year" Mom said.
Then the boys lined up.
First was Ari, in a black tank top, and pajama pants. He was flexing his overly sized muscles, winking at all of the moms, which in turn made them squeal. And of course, they threw their chocolate coins. He winked at them all and I swear I saw their souls leave their bodies.
Then came Gazzy, in what has to be the coolest sweater I've ever seen; watermelon print. He almost tripped on his pajama pants, but catching himself which turned into a pose. All the guys were laughing and teasing, and only one person threw her coin. Nudge.
Iggy followed up, wearing a multi-colored tank top, and you guessed it, pajama pants. He really didn't do much, but his mother was cheering the loudest; Spanish accent and all. Only his mom, and his crush, Ella, threw coins at him, which he accepted gratefully.
Lastly came Fang. Who, surprisingly, wasn't wearing black, but a 'dark blue', which didn't even look dark, but that was his argument. He just bluntly walked down the stairs, stopping at the bottom.
"If you're waiting for the waiter, doesn't that make you a waiter?" was what he said. We all laughed and said unanimously 'yes'. "Good, that's been bothering me for several days now."
After everyone, we had asked Angel if she had wanted to do it. She agreed, and began striking poses on the spot. She looked absolutely adorable in her owl pajamas. I just wanted to squeeze her and cuddle her, oh my god.

Now it was time for the gift distribution. All of us getting really excited. First up was Nudge. "Max, here." She tossed me her present and I tore that wrapping paper up. I was pleased to see that she got me a cat beanie. I silently thanked the lords above that she didn't get me clothes because we all know I'm not that type of person. I hugged and thanked her for the gift, Nudge proceeding with her gifts.
"Ella~". She gave Ella a rolled up paper, and when she unrolled it, she basically squealed. She started to jump and cry, hugging Nudge like crazy. We all saw what had caused the riot, and we started laughing. It was a Justin Bieber poster, something Ella always wanted but could never get her hands on it. Ella calmed down, and Nudge continued.
"Iggy". She threw what looked like a shirt at Iggy, but at a second glance, it was clear. She got him an apron. "Because you like to cook." She said with a smile. He thanked her, and gave her a friendly hug.
"Gazzy, think fast!" Gazzy almost didn't catch it, but he did. He unwrapped the box, and looked at it wide eyed. "How did you manage to afford this?" he asked. "I know a guy, who knows a guy." Is what she replied. "What'd she get you?" His mom asked. "A recording camera". He answered. "Wooooooooow~" we all said. Gazzy thanked and hugged Nudge tightly, and she smiled.
"Ok, now Fang, Ari, and Angel, line up." The three did as told, and she placed the gifts in Fang's and Ari's hands, Angel's next to her. They all unwrapped their gifts.
"Nudge, idk if I should question this or not." Fang said holding black bed sheets. "Anything black satisfies you so don't bother." She then tossed Ari his, him being impatient and tearing the paper off. "A note taking book?" he questioned. "Yea, I hear you say that you wanted to take more notes in class, so I did you a favor and saved you a few bucks." She smiled and Ari hugged her, thanking her silently, her moving on to Angel. She dragged a big box forward and Angel looked at it wide eyed. She went wild, red paper flying everywhere. She basically squealed when she saw what it was.
"So you like the dollhouse then?" Nudge pondered. "YES!" Angel screamed. Nudge then gave all the parents cash money because she, quote on quote, 'doesn't know what grown-ups like so I'm just going to give them money', yea ok.

Fang's P.O.V.
Now it was time for Max and I to distribute our gifts. First was Ella, and Max tossed to her. "From both of us," is what she said.
Ella opened the little box, and smiled. "How'd you know I was wanting an owl necklace?" She turned toward us, and Max smiled and gave her an answer. "I heard you talking to yourself in your room fam." We all chuckled and Iggy was up. "Duuuuuuuuuuuuude", he said. "A homemade bomb kit? How'd ya know?" We told him it's because we're great friends and he obviously agreed. Max and I fist bumped and went on to Nudge and Gazzy. Nudge loved her Christmas sweater, and Gazzy said he was grateful for his new pair of drumsticks. Ari got a book (he isn't the brightest in the family so let him catch up with some reading).
Next was Angel. "This will go great with that new dollhouse". She received her gift, and hugged us both. "Thank you for the new doll!" she said. Max was going to sit down but I stopped her and told her that I still have to give her, her gift. "Hold your hand out and close your eyes." I wrapped the thin around her wrist. She opened her eyes and smiled. "You made me a friendship bracelet?" We lightly laughed, and I showed her the one on my wrist, all black of course. We hugged it out, and she whispered a thanks.
Max insisted that she'd give me my gift after everyone had given out theirs. We respected her decision and shifted on to Iggy and Gazzy.
"Ok Max, we thought this would be helpful when in the future." They tossed her the quadrilateral shaped gift and Max tore the colored paper off. She laughed hysterically and showed us what it was. A cook book. We all laughed together, and Max approached both guys. "Thanks guys" she said laughing, then surprising them with a punch to the arm calling them comical jerks who should watch their backs at night when they sleep tonight.
They then tossed me a small black looking thing. I opened my palm and saw that it was a black guitar pick. Which is actually useful, I was getting annoyed with the other black one in my dresser. I thanked them with a guy hug, and they continued on to the rest. They gave Ella a necklace, also known as a "choker" is what the girls said, with a sun charm. "Thanks a bunch guys! I've been meaning to get one of these!" She hugged them both.
They tossed Nudge what seemed to look like Ella's gift, but instead with a moon charm. "Now we can be like official bffs!" She exclaimed. Girls right?
On to Ari's gift, they gave him a new pair of running shoes, which he seemed to greatly appreciate. "Whoa how'd you guys manage to afford these?" He asked. "Don't worry and come give us a hug!" He hugged them both.
Then it was Angel, and conveniently, they gave her a doll. At least she got new dolls to play with that new doll house of hers.
Next it was Ella. She personally wanted to be quick with hers and basically shouted what we each got.
"Max you get $50 to Macys, Nudge a Justin Bieber poster, Fang gets something black, Ig gets goggles, Gaz gets $50 to iTunes , Ari you get $50 to Target- that store is scared so be careful when shopping- and Angle gets a - surprise - doll." She handed us each our gifts and we all simultaneously said thanks.
Now it was Ari's turn.
"Alright you guys, considering how I haven't known you guys for long except for the obvious cousin of mine, you all get cash because there's nothing better than getting the stuff you like instead of me ™potentially getting something you don't like. Except for you Angel, you get a new doll. " He gave us each $50 and gave Angel her new doll. We each said our thanks, and now it was time for Max to give me my big gift.
"So Fang, you don't have to thank me, you just gotta buy me food every now and then to cover for what I had to spend on this gift of yours" I chuckled at her words, and opened that sucker up.
I for one was in a state of shock. Never in my mind did I ever expect her to even afford this, considering as to how expensive it was, but this totally best everyone else's gift. I jumped up and hugged her tightly. "I can't believe you got me acoustic electric guitar! How'd you even manage to afford this? Never mind that wow Max you totally just made my Christmas!" she replied with a "No problem," and began to admire the bracelet I gave her. "Oh god Max if it weren't for the fact that you're my best friend, I'd kiss you right now!" She turned red when she heard my words, and I, being an idiot only realized after I said it, what I had said. I apologized and began working on the guitar.

Max's P.O.V.
The rest of Christmas consisted of us eating food, and enjoying our gifts. Fang started to play a little tune to relax everyone, and I sang a little here and there. Mainly just things that came off the top of my head.
As time passed, we all realized how late it was, Angel sleeping upstairs, Ig and Gaz struggling to stay awake, Ella and Nudge on Snapchat™, and Fang and I cleaning up. The parents had decided on going out, which is weird because nothing is open on Christmas, but whatever.
I was washing the dishes, when I heard Fang come up behind me. I handed him a dish towel, and he dried them.
"You know you didn't have to get me that guitar right?" I looked at him and smiled. "I know that, but it was because you're really wanted it, which made me want to get it for you." He slightly smiled and I continued with the dishes.
"Thanks Max, thanks a lot." He said, facing me. I turned to him and replied with a "don't worry about it; you know I love you so I'd get anything to make you happy". He hugged me again, a little longer this time, and we continued with the dishes the rest of the night.
Lol sooooooooooooooooooooooo don't come at me with mean comments as to why I didn't upload the whole summer and that school is about to start is like 2-3 weeks and blah blah blah. But for one I was trying to write all the new chapters at the same time but then I thought that it was stupid when August started to so I finished this one, so expect a new chapter for the other stories soon.
Anyways tell me what you think and if I need to make any changes, and to that person who said they'd be my beta, pm me ASAP because I need to inform you of certain conditions.
