Okay okay. I know it's been a while but I have an excuse, I'll keep it short sweet and to the point though. I was working on the chapters but while I was several things came up such as, my boyfriend being diagnosed with epilepsy, having to move out of our house because his mother could no longer afford the mortgage payments, having next to no internet, and for the life of me I could not remember the password that I set. Aaaaaaanyway I'm back now and since it's only me and my boyfriend at our apartment and he doesn't bug me to go do something stupid every five minutes I can finally finish this which is a good thing because I want to finish it so that I can start on another story that has been begging me to start on it. I'll give you a letters at the end of every chapter to see if you figure it out. Okay enough of me jabbering on and on it's finally time to get back to the story.
Cassandra had never liked staying in one place for to long she hated looking over her shoulder but she had promised Felina that she would help her get ready for her wedding which was a long way off. A week after both her and Callie had gone all over the place with her to look at stuff they were getting ready for their trip to the spa. Cassandra walked out of the guest room holding up two tank tops, one was blue and the other was purple "Callie I have no clue what color to pick." she said giving her a confused look. Callie laughed and shook her head.
"Cass it doesn't matter. At some point you have to take it off for a massage." she said spreading butter on her toast. She heard a weird choking sound and she turned her head thinking that Cassandra was choking on a fur ball. The look on her face told her other ways. Cassandra's ears were straight back and her eyes were as wide as they could go. "What?" she asked confused.
"Naked? I have to get naked? Oh no! No! No! No! No! No!" she said shaking her head. Callie rolled her eyes and put a hand on her hip.
"Seriously? It's not so bad. They won't actually see you naked. They leave the room you strip down and cover yourself back up. I've done it tons of times." she said with a shrug.
"Well yeah but that's you. I've never gotten naked in front of anyone but myself." Cass replied putting the tops in front of her as if to cover her non nakedness.
"Um yeah you have. Mom and dad remember?" Callie jokingly replied.
"When I was a kitten does not count and you know it. I had no say." Cass said looking away.
"Look it's not that bad. Just throw one of them on we have to get going. Felina got us an early appointment." Callie said chugging her milk. Cassandra sighed and walked back into the room. Ten minutes later she came out wearing the blue tank top and a pair of black shorts, Callie quickly grabbed her keys and they headed out the door. The drive took fifteen minutes and the whole time Callie did her best to convince Cassandra that a spa day was a good thing. Since it was still early parking was no problem, dragging Cassandra out of the car was a totally different ordeal though. After prying her claws out of the seat which she muttered about having to have replaced they walked through the doors. A male kat was standing at the reception counter, he looked up and grabbed his clip board.
"Your names?" he asked looking down when they walked up.
"Uh Callie and Cassandra Briggs. Felina Feral made the appointment for us." Callie said waiting. The male kat took a second to find them before checking them off and putting the clip board down. "Okay Ms. Briggs and uh Ms. Briggs have a seat and I'll make sure everything's ready." he said walking away. Callie and Cassandra sat down and leafed through the magazines when the male kat came back and waved them to come back. They got up and followed him through the curtains he had moved to the side, on the other side was two female kats with friendly smile on their faces. They were holding pure white robes on their arms.
"What's the robes for?" Cassandra asked putting a finger on her bottom lip.
"Oh this is what you'll change into ma'am." the male kat said holding one out to her. Cassandra looked at him then at the robe then back at him. He had a slight smile on his face and he gave the robe a gentle shake, she took the robe from him and was surprised at how soft it felt. The female kats led her and Callie in different directions, she gave her sister one last look before stepping into the room. In the middle of the room was some weird looking bed, the female kat handed her a long white sheet that was just as soft as her robe.
"I'll let you strip down and get on the massage table." she said before walking out of the room. Cassandra looked around the room for something to put her clothes in, seeing nothing she sat them on the chair and crawled onto the table making sure almost every inch of her was covered. A few seconds later the female kat came back with a basket in her hands, she gathered up Cass's clothes and placed it back onto the chair. She made sure that the blanket was adjusted and turned to another table that held several different items on it. She squirted some cream onto her hands and turned back to Cassandra, she picked the sheet up just enough to get her hands under and started to massage almost all over.
Cassandra could feel muscles that had been tight for years start to loosen up from the massage and she could feel herself start to slowly drift to sleep. "Okay I'm finished with this side. Turn over and I'll get your back." the female kat said. She helped her turn over before walking all around her back and legs, while she was working on the left side she frowned. "This muscle won't come loose. I'll have to try a different tactic you'll feel a bit of heat but trust me you'll feel so much better." she said and turned to grab something out of a bucket where steam was coming from. The next thing Cass knew something hot had been placed on the muscle which finally loosened in surrender.
Once she was sure it was good and loose the female kat removed the stone. "Alright. Now I'll let you get up and put the robe on before I take you to the next room." she said once again walking out of the room. Cassandra quickly got up and put on the robe after making sure the blanket was somewhat folded up, the female kat came back in and opened another door for her, Cassandra grabbed the basket with her clothes in it and followed her. This room didn't have a table but four doors, the one she was standing in, one leading to the next room, and two with stick pictures next to them one obviously for females and one for males. She was handed a towel and instructed to put it on before getting in the sauna, she did as she was told and was left alone for half an hour to let her pores purge themselves. After what felt like forever she was led to another room that had a chair that reclined in it, this time she was only told to put the basket with her clothes down and to sit in the chair and relax.
She did as she was told and the female kat had her lay back as far as the chair would go, she had her close her eyes and smeared something on her face before placing what smelt like cucumbers on her eyes. While she was sitting like that Cassandra felt her grab her hand and force her claws out before clipping and filing them one by one, then she did the same to her feet. After about half an hour of sitting there she felt the cucumbers lifted off and the creamy stuff wiped off. She was left to get redressed and when she was done she walked through the door and back into the reception area, Callie was already out and waiting for her when she got there. They thanked the receptionist and left, as they were leaving Cassandra quickly turned her head and looked up. "What's wrong?" Callie asked looking around the same spot that she was.
"I don't know. I thought I saw something….weird." Cass said with a shrug before getting in the car and leaving with her. What they didn't see was the creepling poke it's head out from the roof of the building and watch them drive away, once they were out of sight it opened its' wings and took off as well.
Okay sorry for the basically filler chapter but I kind of had no clue as to how to go about the spa idea. Like I said hopefully I can start uploading the chapters more now, it all depends I'm trying to get internet at my apartment but my phone's fighting with me on that too. And if anyone knows how to reset your password when you don't remember it at all let me know since the support team never did and I have to keep using what ever little password they give me just to log in. And the clue for the next story in the series is actually kind of like hang man. I'm going to put a few letters down this time then one letter in the next chapters to see if you can figure out what it is. Who ever guesses it will get mentioned in the chapter after which ever one they figured out the clue (only ch. 18-24 though) and if they have their own Swat Kats character they'd like me to put in the next story I'll do it just let me know if you want them in just one chapter of the story or the whole thing. Okay here's the clue.
