Okay now it's time to go back to Cassandra.
Cassandra walked around the apartment picking up a few pieces of garbage here and there. She sighed as she threw the pieces in the can and sat down on the couch to relax, she had just grabbed the remote when there was a knock at the door. She got up and opened the door, she was surprised to see Jake standing there. "Oh hey Jake. I didn't know that you were going to be coming over." she said.
"Oh well. I thought that you'd like to go out and do something today. No point in just staying in on a nice day. Maybe we could go out and get something to eat?" he said giving her an innocent look.
"Oh sure just give me a second to throw my shoes on." she said and sat on the end of the couch. She popped her shoes on grabbed her spare key and left with him. She noticed that his fur seemed to be darker and she was a bit puzzled, Jake had never looked dirty to her before. They walked down the steps laughing and joking the whole time, when they left the building Cassandra looked around confused. "Jake. Where's the truck?" she asked.
"Oh I couldn't find a place to park so I had to park over here." he said pointing around the building. A bit confused Cassandra followed him, when they turned the corner Cassandra saw that the truck wasn't there either. Before she had a chance to ask him what was going on she felt a big hand reach out and cover her mouth before she was lifted off of her feet.
-Meanwhile at Enforcer's Headquarters-
Feral had just finished listening to the recording and had called Felina in, they were trying to figure out what to do when the alternate world Cassandra spook up.
"I think that it should just be you two. Anymore and Dark Kat will know something's up and send his creeplings out. The dark Swat Kats are also with him so they'll be fighting against you too. I know you'd hate to hear it but you need this world's Swat Kats too." she said. Felina smirked a little when she heard her uncle make a choking noise.
"With all due respect uh Cassandra but the Enforcers can handle this on our own." Feral said but the alternate world shook her head no.
"Not in this world. Dark Kat is too sneaky. You need your Swat Kats like it or not." she said. Feral growled but finally gave in, he promised to make a call out to them to see if they would be willing to help them. Both Felina and the alternate world's Cassandra left.
"So what's your story?" Felina asked her.
"Exactly opposite of your Cassandra. No powers or anything. I never had to run away from home so I moved to my world's MegaKat City with my sister. Then I found out that she's working for Dark Kat, I couldn't stand for it so I made the decision to join the Enforcers. All of that didn't hurt as bad as finding out about my world's Jake and Chance though." she said looking down.
"You were with your world's Jake?" Felina asked confused.
"In more ways then one and before I found out he was working for Dark Kat." she said blushing a bit. Felina made an oh face and let it drop. "It was so hard to explain to our son why me and his dad weren't together anymore." she said. Felina dead stopped.
"Dad? You had a….." the alternate Cassandra shook her head yes.
"Remember. It's a different world. Not everything's the same as this one. Well not completely. I mean Cassandra could always have a kid with this world's Jake. In fact something keeps telling me that someday that might happen and I don't want that feeling to go away. Maybe my son's alternate self will get to have a mother and father that stay together." she said with a sad smile and a tear in her eye. Felina put her hand on her shoulder.
"I'll make sure of it." she said with a slight smile. The alternate Cassandra wiped her tears away and gave a sad smile.
"No wonder my son calls you Aunt Felina." she said. Felina gave her a smile and they both headed for the roof.
