As such I have not found time to write up until now…

Day turned into night and Gibbs stayed at the office. Focusing on a case felt good despite the headache and the heartache Jen had left him with. It was obvious she was not really interested in being a mother. No mother-to-be would willing put her unborn babies at risk the way Jen was doing.
I can't trust her.
She is the Director of NCIS and has other priorities.
Well Honey, you will follow my rules until you have my babies…
Or so help me God … I'll…
"Boss?" Tony stood in front of his desk, his face laced with concern.
"What?"
Ziva and McGee stole glances at him waiting to see if he was about to implode. They had been irritating him all afternoon.
"Are you okay?" Tony asked.
Gibbs glared at him, "Go home. All of you."
"You sure Boss?" McGee asked. "I still need to..."
"Get out of here." Gibbs ordered harshly.
When no one moved, Gibbs stood up and looked at each in turn, "Do I need to repeat myself?"
"No Boss." McGee replied grabbing his bag.
"Good night Gibbs." Ziva said as she followed McGee to the elevator. Both agents threw sympathetic looks Tony's way. He nodded imperceptibly, indicating he would be okay. Ziva signalled with her hands that he should call her later and he nodded.
"What are you still waiting for?" Gibbs asked Tony.
"You, Boss."
"Leave Tony, I don't need a babysitter tonight."
"Boss, Ducky and Jenny expect …."
Gibbs growled, retrieved his gun and badge from his drawer before slamming it shut, rounded his desk and headed for the elevator.
Tony had to run to keep up with him.
Once they were in the car, Gibbs asked, "You hungry?"
Tony turned to him in surprise.
"Are you hungry?" Gibbs repeated.
"Yeah, I could eat."
"Good. Get over to Lucy's diner on the corner of 6th and Main."
"On it Boss." Tony said.
What has come over you, Boss?
Tony was further surprised when Gibbs polished off a mega burger with fries and 3 cups of coffee.
When they walked out of the diner, Gibbs said, "Hospital."
"Ah, Boss. It's late and Jenny's probably asleep."
"DiNozzo." Gibbs warned.
"You should also get home and catch some shut eye."
"Either take me the hospital or I'll catch a cab." Gibbs demanded.
Shit, this is a bad idea.
"Okay Boss." Tony said and they got into the car.

Once at the hospital, Gibbs left Tony in the waiting room and headed to Jenny's room. It was after 10pm and he hoped she was asleep. As mad as he was with her, he didn't want to fight with her. He didn't want to see her crying and stressed out.
That will hurt my babies.
So I need to stay calm and I need to keep you calm.
You cannot hurt my babies.
I won't let you.
As he entered her room, he heard the soft tad tad, tad tad, tad tad… and it brought tears to his eyes.
"My babies… You're safe," he whispered as he walked quietly to the bed. He wanted to place his palm on Jenny's belly, to feel his babies but he would not risk waking her.
He looked at Jenny's face… she was beautiful and his felt his entire body flood with untold emotions…
Love… anger… need…
Hate… passion… want…
Fury…
Disappointment…
Distrust…
You left me all those years ago in Paris…
Hell I was a fool to think being pregnant would change you…
These babies are just a nuisance to you… aren't they...
So don't worry, Madam Director…
I'll take them off your hands as soon as they are born…
I'll take care of my babies… and I won't let you anywhere near them…
But until then… I am going to have to play nice…
And boy, can I play nice…
Gibbs smirked, satisfied with the plan that was brewing and taking shape in his mind.
He pulled up a chair and settled in. The soft tad tad, tad tad, tad tad… of his babies heart beats soothed him like nothing else could.
He knew what he needed to do… He had some idea of how he was going to do it… and he knew that he would keep these babies… his precious babies safe… safe from everyone… even the woman who would give birth to them.
The soft tad tad, tad tad, tad tad… soon lulled him off to sleep.
