A few weeks have pasted and Sesshomaru has been treating her nice giving her some gifts here and there as he came, like paints, books, some flower sprouts, and beads for jewelry making. She also got big canvases to decorate the house more, she was given many gifts like huge sewing kits. Rin liked little hobbies and projects, Sesshomaru had noticed that Rin had tried doing several things. He would walk around looking for her and find her in rooms by herself trying her best to do little projects like sewing and drawing or painting.
Rin walked into a room that was across from a study that she hadn't dared to go into, she smiled 'That is his room, and this is my room.' Her room had a small table and a little book shelf full of the books that Sesshomaru had given her, and on the table she sat her little finches. She smiled feeling a little seed to the finch that was less colorful, the female finch. She wanted these little birds, her hopes for happiness to have wonderful names. She wrote out little characters and their meanings, she picked the character Kazu and the other character she picked was Ki. The little female finch was named Kazuki for harmonious hope.
The other finch that was a male she had picked the characters for Nobu for truth and Ai which means love, creating Nobuai and it meant true love. Rin completed her room with a vase of wild flowers on a self. Rin smiled and left the room and went about busying herself with chores, it was kind of a blessing to not have any servants, she wasn't sure what she would do all day if she had servants to do all the chores for her. She had to sweep the porch, wash the floors, clean the fire pit, do the dishes, clean, tending to the garden she had made, and her little hobbies and projects.
She walked into the joined bedroom and she smiled blushing she had painted a wonderful painting and wanted to show Sesshomaru as soon as he came back, she had several things to tell him. It had been two weeks since he had visited and last time she saw him he said we was busy with the meetings of advisors, clan leaders, and village head men, in short politics. She sadly didn't understand and he was kind enough to try to make it simple for her, he said it was people trying to be allies so it would better their people, or their causes they would often make compromises or deals to form a ally relationship.
Since Sesshomaru had a wealthy and healthy clan with plentiful food in land it was very well run and peaceful, other clans wanted to become part of his land to have protection, and a peaceful life like the western residence.
She smiled and touched her stomach looking at the painting that she hung on the wall, on the wall was a big painting of Sesshomaru and Rin standing side by side happily. In the painting she had a big smile and wore a breath taking beautiful painting, and in the painting Sesshomaru's eyes held shining golden orbs that showed happiness. Rin smiled blushing looking at her painting and smiled happily 'I really hope he likes it.'
Going into the dining room there was a few smaller canvases of painting that were of flowers that had become her favorite after looking at the flowers around their house. Then a painting of her finches Nobuai and Kuzuki sitting in a tree among blossoms, then a painting of a landscape behind their home. In the main room that held the fire place was a painting of when the first met. The painting had Sesshomaru lying down looking peaceful and her sitting beside him offering him food.
She smiled and went to do her chores she got a cloth and a bucket of a water, she dampened the cloth and ran up and down the floors washing the floor. Afterwards she went to cleaning the wood frames for windows and door ways, the shelves and bookcases and then floors inside. Once finished with that she went about cutting wood however she wasn't very strong and so she had to make small piles of twigs or scraps of wood.
She smiled and lit the fire making the house warmer it was ending summer and fall was just around the corner and she couldn't wait to see snow.
Sesshomaru was at the palace and his mother began to notice she didn't hear the moan of his sexual servants anymore and he seems to always be in his study or his chambers if he is here. However if he isn't here then he is always out somewhere else.
She sighed and watched her son something seemed off about him, he was like his father in many ways. Cold and distant and yet he loved his own space and didn't like being tied down in one area for too long it seemed, he never took a serious interest in any woman and he was very prideful and in love with power. So what was weighing on his mind so heavily these days, she remembered he once had a little band of loyal servants and now he had no one.
'The time he visited nearly five years ago, or was it six? Seven? Eight? Nine? When was that?' Inu Kimi couldn't remember too well for her the years just rolled by with no reason to really notice them. How many ever years ago it was it seemed like only yesterday for a two thousand year old demoness, anyhow she remembered her son had a two headed dragon, two human children. Once little girl named Rin, she remembered the her son saying when he arrived with her lifeless little form.
'Did you know this would happened to her mother? Did you know this would happen to Rin?'
Then there was that boy she watched from her stone while him and her son were in hell, her son had spoken to the boy when she opened a portal for them "Kohaku take this way out while you can." Then there was that annoying and troublesome toad named Jaken, he had said she didn't care about remembering but she remembered after hearing it only once. She just felt she didn't need to speak his name.
However now her son had no one, she had asked him but he said nothing. So she wasn't going to let it slide she had to fuel her curious mind and so she had spies look for answers and thanks to those spies she found her answers. The male human had grown up as a demon slayer, yet he is good friends with many demons. He only rids those troubling villages, he got a new weapon from her ex lover's sword smith. Also the boy lives in a village with a little girl he married and has one child with, his sister and her family also live in that village. The village they live in is the former demon slayer's village and it was destroyed by demons, however now they are rebuilding it and repopulating it.
The dragon is seen every once in a while flying freely around it has no master and comes if Sesshomaru whistles a certain pitch, other than that not much is known about the dragon. The toad known as Jaken was last seen raising that mortal girl name Rin in a village far away and they had no contact and no visits from Sesshomaru. No villagers had seen the demon or even heard of him and said the little toad and girl one day just showed up saying their old village was destroyed by that Naraku guy and they were looking for a new home. They were bitterly accepted at first but then were like part of the family in no time at all.
Last time her spies had given her reports were a few years back, she needed more updated reports but it didn't really matter. If did it? Never the less she would find out, mean time she would fill her time with fun trying to set her son up with future brides. She would have to pick very carefully, a woman with extreme beauty that way they could beautiful grandchildren and so they would have no problem finding mates when the time came. She was very much about looks and didn't want her blood line that her great great great grandparents started with the best looking demons of the time who had also been focused on looks.
Now the second thing his mate will have to do is be very cultured to bring much honor to them and very graceful to add to the powerful title Lady of the west. She thirdly must being very smart and easy to teach she should be able to be there for him and help him if he ever comes to her with a question needing her opinion or insight. It is very unlikely that her son would ever ask his mate or wife, however it should still be prepared for.
She also should be very talented that way all the other lords and leaders will look at him with respect for having such a great treasure all to himself. Also so their children will have the best genes and will only have talent, brains, power, and beauty all you need as a ruler in Inu Kami's book.
She walked out of the room she was sitting in and smiled and when to write letters to lords of the land whom she knew had daughters that fight her ideals. She smiled happily thinking of her bright mind, no doubt from proper selection her grandparents made for their children to marry having her. She was smart, and beautiful and gifted with talent.
She in other words wanted her son's wife to be like her or better, but that was nearly impossible because she was perfect in every way… well every way but one. To earn her mates love or to earn his mate mark he never gave her either of those.
Inu Kimi made her way to her next plan and wrote a letter to a trusted ally of her's.
An: Short I know but I felt here was fine today and I am typing at one am, I have to wake up at 6am. I also have to work from 6am-6pm and then 7pm-10pm and then I might go to a movie by myself after that. Or I might make it a date with that guy I've been talking too. For roughly two weeks or two and a half we've been talking. LolXD I'm shy and it's hard for me to ask a guy out, cuz I think guys will think
"Man this girl is crazy desperate asking me out. I didn't ask her out so doesn't she know I'm not interested?"
