Rin smiled looking at her new teacher, Kagome let out a loud cheer "Give it your all!" The teacher let out a sigh and stopped sparing with Rin it had been a single month and everyday it was like this. Rin would do her best and push herself to the brink of passing out, he often told her that she needed to focus more. Her friend Kagome shouted and cheered for his student every day, with good intentions but all she was doing was breaking Rin's focus. Ryuu glared over at Kagome as he let out a angry sigh with a stern voice "Kagome, please remain silent. If you break Rin's focus I can no longer allow you to train."

She gave him puppy dog eyes as she silently begged not to be thrown out, Inuyasha sat perched in a tall tree looking down at them all. He couldn't help but roll his eyes tonight he would be allowed back into the same room as his mate, he kept sleeping on the porch or in the tree he was in right now. Inuyasha thought about what he could say and instead remained quiet last thing he needed was to be sat from the high he was at it would surely knock him out, and he didn't wanna risk not sleeping in the same room as his mate. This last month has been torture they had been trying for a child when they lived in the feudal era, so coming here and not being able to try was killing him.

Kagome had been crying saying it was somehow her fault, after all it was said to be extremely hard for a priestess to have children with a demon. The reason why was their natural spiritual powers attacked up most the time preventing it. Kagome with the powers of purification, Keade had said that she is most likely purifying his seed. They had asked about how to conceive and she said she didn't know but perhaps a highly skilled demon doctor would know. However not many demons ever helped Inuyasha due to him being a half demon, they tried going to Koga to see if he had any doctors in his clan. The wolf said that no doctor in their clan has knowledge of how to mate with priestesses, Inuyasha asked about if he knew where they could get answers. Koga told them something that made Kagome fall into a deep sadness for the remainder of the night.

"Sorry can't help ya there, and honestly no many demons would."

"Koga what the hell ya talking about?" Inuyasha questioned his old love rival, whom was now a trusted friend.

"Kagome, Inuyasha I hate to tell you this. But you got to know this is common sense in this time. Almost no demon would help breed anything other than a full demon. Demons normally hate any who are not a full demon. Demons look down on humans, see half breeds-"

Koga looked hearing a loud growl from his friend and coughed correcting himself "See half demons pests and see to destroy them most the time. I'm sure you came across that growing up Inuyasha. Then many hate priestesses for obvious reasons, so I can't see any demon helping a half demon mate with a priestess."

That was the end of it, he looked down at his mate smiling 'She seems so preoccupied with Rin and supporting her she is forgetting her sadness about us not being able to bear a child. Ryuu had asked Kagome to go make some snacks in order to get rid of her, "Very clever Ryuu." Rin was busy using her sword to block her strong opponents attacks, between the clashing of metal you could hear Ryuu reply to Inuyasha.

"Should of thought of it sooner."

Rin between her panting thought about how far she had come since when she first arrived here at the dojo.

Flash back.

Rin had slept soundly in her hard futon that was full of dust, she smiled in her sleep having sweet dreams. Ryuu came into her room it was around five am and he was already wide awake and dressed for the day, walking into her room he spoke in a normal voice "Time to wake." He began to walk out of the room expecting her to wake and follow, when he noticed she hadn't moved he picked up his backup plan. However Rin's dream had been interrupted by a sudden discomfort making her wake right away, she woke soaking wet her hair drenched and she looked up to see Ryuu holding empty bowl.

"Hey! Why did you do that?!"

He smiled and walked off speaking as if he were innocent "I tried to wake you up but your just snored through it, so I decided try something different. "

She glared as he walked away out of the room she slept in "Do you feel well? After all it seems you can't hold your liquor." Rin glared as he opened the door to leave "I'm fine." He left saying only one last thing and before leaving "Alright, you have thirty minutes to wash up and eat." Rin nodded as he left, she quickly changed into a light blue outfit that looked identical to Inuyasha's fire rat clothing. Turns out Kagome's mother had it packed away it was an outfit that Kagome's father once wore to the summer festivals.

Rin pulled her hair in a high pony tail for her practice and training, she showed up in the kitchen eating so quickly made ramen. She was thankful he had a microwave so she could have a short and quick breakfast, she had a side of tea with her ramen and ate it quickly. Ryuu told her to meet him in the courtyard in three minutes after she had spent twenty seven minutes doing eating and getting dress.

When she made it to the court yard she had a lot of energy and high hopes for her promising training, she stood straight with lots of focus ready as her teacher joined her. The teacher looked at her with a stern look and spoke with much years to his voice with his authority "Listen, your training will not be easy. It shall be different and if you do not like my training you can leave." Rin nodded with an eager smile planted on her face which quickly fell when her training tools were given to her.

She looked in her hands shocked and annoyed "Sensei Ryuu?" He looked at her with a soft glare that dared her to speak up against him. Rin bit her cheek to hold her tongue as she held the wooden bucket and cloth in one hand and then a broom in her other hand. Ryuu smiled turning and leaving her in the middle of the court yard he spoke up just enough to have her hear him "Clean this place from top to bottom you got three days for this dojo to be spotless." Hearing this new Rin wanted to die, afterall this place wasn't kept as well as it should have been.

'And it isn't my fault if he wanted this place looking nice, then he should have kept up on the cleaning.'

Looking at the fallen brown leaves and the dead plants of other plants due to the cold winter's air 'This is going to take forever! I got to dust, mop, weed, beat the rugs and futons, sweep the courtyard and that's just scratching the surface! Kami help me.'

Ryuu came back in an hour and he smiled seeing Rin she laid down against the tree and kneeled "Lady Rin you did well." Rin was asleep due to pasting out most likely over exerting herself with the cleaning of the court yard, the stones in the courtyard looked brand new except for the few cracks in the stones. Suddenly there was a loud sound at the gate of the fence and in the entry way was a man with long white hair and bandana that matched his red feudal outfit.

An outfit he knew all too well, however this man's face held no demonic markings and he didn't have the full daiyoukai scent. Suddenly a woman appeared to be joining at his side, she wore a pair of jeans and a cream sweater with brown knee high boots. Her raven hair stood out against her lightly colored sweater, it was all pulled up into a high pony tail with a cream colored scarf tied around the ponytail.

Ryuu starred walk over to the two new comers "Kagome quit barking your trap would ya?" The woman seemed to turn cherry red and her fist solid with her knuckles turning white, she raised her fist threatening to strike her mate "It's your fault we couldn't find the dojo yesterday! WE HAD TO SLEEP OUTSIDE!" He huffed carrying both packs, one on his back and the other in his right hand "You never complained before!" She couldn't hold back anymore and so she struck her mate along his cheek "What the hell was that for?!"

"For being an idiot!" Kagome countered.

"You still mad about sleeping outside?! We did it for years!" Inuyasha threw right back at her.

Kagome screamed in his ear of him to hopefully get it into his thick skull "Yes! But we were in a kind of place where it wasn't as dangerous!"

"Hell its more dangerous there then here!" The brainless hanyou shouted back at her.

"Inuyasha SIT! Its more dangerous here! I lived in both places, so I would know!"

"Ow, hell Kagome!"

He then stopped fighting with her and glared straight ahead moving his hand to touch his sword's hilt "Stand back Kagome!" She glared at him and was about to open her mouth, only to have Inuyasha speak before she had the chance "A demon is here."

"A demon?"

Ryuu walked up hearing the name "Inuyasha? Son of the great dog demon of the west?"

Inuyasha glared at him as he stood in front of his mate he lifted his lip up in anger and glare with fire in his eyes "Who wants to know?"
