Rin was fast asleep she had been training all day and night it was for endurance training. She had lasted a good twenty four hours in a long sparring match with her teacher. She afterwords bathed and ate before going to bed. Inuyasha and her teacher had gone off to speak of time in the feudal era, while Kagome had been feeling ill and thought of home on the otherside of the well. Shippo was probably near full grown now if he wasn't already, he was such a sweet boy. She remembered this one time her and Inuyasha were very down in the dumps unable to bear a child. He and his friend transformed to two tiny figures that had white hair and little dog ears, the spitting image of the children they wanted.

She smiled and looked at the box in her hand she took a breath in and stared nervous 'What if i got my hopes up again for nothing?' Kagome bit her lips and stuffed it in the pocket of her hoodie as she made her way to the bathroom 'I can't get my hopes up.' She made her way into the bathroom without anyone seeing her, she let out a shaking breath of relief as she quickly shut the door behind her. A few minutes passed and she looked at the test infront of and tears pricked the corners of her eyes, she washes her hands and becomes lost in her own mind.

Suddenly she hears her cell which is on the floor buzz against the wooden floor. She smiles notices the caller I.D, she raises it to her ear and speaks softly with her shaking voice "Hey gramps I-." She is cut off by her grandpa who is speaking in a voice that she hadn't heard for many years its one full of fear and one that tells that he has been crying. Her eyes widened immensely hearing what he said she hung up and slammed open the bathroom door. She looked left and right of the hall before tears formed in her eyes as she ran down the left of the hall she slammed open the door expecting to find everyone in the dinning hall.

Seeing no one she turned around and ran down the hall to the bedroom where she knew Rin was sleeping in she slammed open the and Rin remained alseep "Rin!" The woman who was dead tired and sore all over from the long training grumbled "What?" Kagome screamed in a tear stained voice "CHIESTUKA IS GONE! THEY THINK SHE WENT DOWN THE WELL!" Rin popped up in an instant both shocked by her sister in law screaming and horrified about her daughter's whereabouts. Rin jumped up and grabbed her bag and started to run for the gate of the dojo. However she felt a hand on her shoulder then she ripped her shoulder away and glared at the one trying to stop her "Master?"

"You should be patient the trains don't even run until tomarrow."

That didn't make Rin feel any better she was far from her child before and now she wasn't even i the same time period as her daughter. The feudal era was very dangerous and her daughter was strong and smart but it was still very dangerous after all she is only three. She screamed and felt a strong grip on her arm restricting her from going any farther.

"Tomarrow."

"But…"

Chiestuka saw darkness and it was engulfing her, she felt scared and helpless. 'Mommy?Daddy?' There was no answer this only fed her fear more why was there no answer? Was she truly alone?Or could she be dead? She felt something come to her a light... 'a light?'

"Wake up."

'Who is that?'

"Little one wake up."

'That voice? It's so calming.'

Chiestuka woke her eyes fluttering open to take in her surroundings when she does she notices they are in a small country house. She is lying on a comfortably on a mattress and notices beside her is a bowl of cooked meat and rice and beside the bowl was a cup of water. She stared at it trying to remember everything and for some reason couldn't remember how she got here, the last thing she remembered was being in a snow storm and then nothing pass that. A smile crept on her face as she jumped out of bed "Mommy?!Mommy?!" She rounded a corner and opened the door as she did she saw someone sitting on the porch enjoying some tea "Wait...who are you?"

The man turned his head around and stared emotionlessly at the girl before him "First your name." She glared at the man with a cold stone glare and narrowed them "Why do you want to know?" He couldn't help but chuckle he knew excatly who she was by the scent of her blood she was a dog demon and one from the royal family no less.

"Fine its Chiestuka."

She stared at the man waiting for his answer as she wasn't going to budge even an inch, the man stood and turned to face her. He was so tall, he had very beautiful hair that went down to his thighs. Before she could think much more about his appearance she heard him start to chuckle this shocked her as her eyes widened before she stomped her foot on the floor "WHY YOU LAUGHING?!" He smiled and his eyes softened as knelt in front of her "You remind me so much of your father."

"My father?"

"You know my father?! Where is he?! Show me to him! Wait how do you know him?!"

He chuckled more and took her into his arms "And then you really do act just like your mother, she was so very curious at a young age too." She pushed against him and pursed her lips as she pouted not getting the answers she wanted from him "Hey i told you who i am now tell me who you are!" The man nodded as he walked out of the house and started to head west "My name is Lord Sesshomaru of the western lands, and i am your father." Her eyes widened she smelt no lies from him she looked up and when her eyes connected with his she knew something just clicked like instincts "Daddy!" Sesshomaru looked down at his daughter she was perfect so beautiful, however he couldn't believe he had found a pup. No doubt as soon as he smelt her scent it was exactly like his and the only possible mother for the child was Rin, however Rin's scent wasn't the same scent he used to know. This one was a bit different.

She smiled and threw her tiny arms around his neck and cried into his shoulder "Daddy we have to go get mommy!"

She was so beautiful and full of life she was more like Rin than him, she only shared a few things of him like her features but she shared Rin's spirit. That strong, unbreakable spirit that he fell in love with... ' I have to see her again!'

"Where is she?"

"Beyond the bone eater's well."

Sesshomaru nodded and turned east his heart fluttering as he took to the air. At long last he would see his mate…

Chiestuka closed her eyes and slept as they her father flew through the night he said it would be half a days journey. Sesshomaru felt her mind race and his breathing go uneven he had been waiting so long and now he would see the one he loved the most in life, his wonderful mate who was strong enough to keep his child alive,well and safe despite the evil acts his mother committed. She had ruined nearly everything for him...However she is no more.

'She can never hurt us again, i made sure of that.'

He smiled looking down at his small pup curled up in his right arm "I remember when i had to carry a small little human girl around." He flew through the still snowing winter sky as he used his tail to help shield his little pup from the harsh snow. 'So beautiful and yet so fierce… Rin.' He landed and started to make tracks through the snow as he walked through the forest he made his way the the well slowly as his mind wondered what he would say to his mate once he saw her again.

'Rin threw all the centuries i have lived… you are the only mortal who showed me any kindness and one of the most loyal being i have ever known. You saved me all those years ago and you came to love me enough to bear me a wonderful little girl. Chiestuka. A thousand joys… Living with you in my life, that is all i have known. A thousand joys. Rin you gave me so much that i hadn't been fully aware of until i lost you… Once i find you i promise i will never lose you or our Chiestuka ever again.'

"Do you really promise?"

His head shot up at the voice he knew and yet hadn't heard in nearly four years, he had been thinking and staring the the snow as he walked he was down wind unable to smell anything ahead. Sesshomaru's golden eyes shot wide open as he looked and saw a woman who had hair as black as night itself her eyes were a beautiful purple "Rin?"

"Do you promise my mate?"

Unable to speak for the first time in his life all he could do was manage a nod 'Forever mate never to part not even if death befalls us we shall go to the next world in eachother's arms. However i promise that it will never come to that.' Tears filled her eyes as a smile spread across her face, her shoes were eveloped by snow as she jumped of the edge of the well she was sitting on. In seconds she was infront of Sesshomaru her arms reached out as she took Chiestuka and kissed her head with tears falling and hitting her daughter's face, Sesshomaru stared at his mate as he wrapped his strong arms around her and pulled her in for a deep kiss.

Chiestuka opened her eyes "MOMMY!"

Sesshomaru reluctantly released Rin's lips and watched as his mate and pup reunited with each other with tearful embraces and with words that swam around in their hearts. He smiled and thought to himself 'There are so many things that need to be answered and spoken, however those can all wait until we are safely back at the palace. Everyone will be pleased to know that my search has come to an end. Even more happy that i have found my pup and mate, who both seem to be some kind of immortal race other than daiyoukai.'

Rin smiled and spoke softly to him "Don't worry i'll explain everything."

Sesshomaru chuckled and wondered to himself 'Rin can read me like a book the same as always nothing has changed it seems.' Rin smiled more as her family had been reunited and was now on their way to a life together "I have always read you like a book, but i can do so even more now." This caused him to raise brow before picking up his mate and pup and flying off to the west.
