It has been two weeks since Amaya first started the Cram School. She excelled in her high school classes and also excelled in her Cram School classes. Though what could someone expect from a five century old half-demon. She was in the same classes as Yukio but she tried to avoid him as much as she could.

Her target was more Rin than Yukio because Rin had the flames longer. Of course having both of them would help but convincing Rin first before Yukio might help. She had to do what her older brother said because it was the only way to get rid of Satan and she knew that.

She saw Rin up ahead of her and began to run. After the first week she didn't need Amaimon travelling with her everywhere so he went back to living with their brother. It was the only way to keep Amaimon's identity a secret until it was needed to be shown. People thought he was dead after what happened with Rin and him and they had to keep that rumor going.

"Rin," she yelled out to him which made him stop.

"Amaya," he smiled brightly at her.

They had gotten closer over the past two weeks and they were getting more comfortable with each other. He was a true friend to her but she wasn't a true friend to him. She was lying to him about their own father and was also lying about being a witch when she was actually Chikako. She was the demon he had vowed to kill.

"Do you want to go grab some dinner," she asked.

"Sure where do you want to go," he asked.

"I was thinking of the small café for some tea," she smiled lightly.

"Sounds cool," he smiled as they began walking to the café.

"So how is high school for you," she asked him.

"Boring," he chuckled which just made her laugh too.

"School is boring for me too though I think it's for a different reason," she giggled.

That just made him laugh and she laughed along with him. They continued walking together and they finally made it to the café. She bought both of their drinks and a small cake for both of them. They sat outside and she ate the cake.

She was addicted to sweets as much as her brothers with how the humans made sweets. It was almost like her own kind of heaven in her mouth. It was the only thing she could describe the sweets in her own words. After they finished their cake they started walking back to the academy with their drinks.

Though she stopped once she saw a small playground with a swing set. Rin had stopped too and smiled as he looked at the playground. The playground had a few children playing on the swings and a carousel that kids were playing on.

"Why are they so happy," she asked as she looked at Rin.

"They're having fun," Rin answered and smiled as he looked at the kids.

"I never had true fun until I met you Rin," she smiled lightly.

"Oh come on you don't mean that. You probably had fun with your parents ," he said as he looked at me.

"Actually I didn't," she sighed as she looked at her drink.

"What do you mean," he asked.

"My mother died when I was four and my father…..well he never truly cared about me or my mother," she explained.

"My mother died too," he told me.

"Really," she asked as she looked at him and she got a nod in reply, "looks like we're both kind of like orphans," she chuckled slightly.

"You could say that," he chuckled slightly too.

"Rin, have you ever had a friend like me," she asked him curious since she knew she never had a friend like him.

"I've had friends but not like how I am friends with you," he answered.

He sort of had a crush on her after the first moment he heard her laugh. It was quite ironic how he never believed in love at first sight but he fell in love with her just because of her laugh. Though it was also her personality that he liked because it was like someone understood him.

"We should probably be getting back," she said as she began to walk.

"Wait," he replied as he grabbed her wrist which made her look at him.

"Yes," she asked.

"Uh…..um," he began.

He was nervous about what to say to tell her of his feelings. He didn't know what to do and then just kissed her. Her eyes widened for a second before her eyes slowly closed and she kissed him back. She could feel the wind through her hair and when she separated she looked at the sky as rain began to fall.

She chuckled as she looked at him and he chuckled too. They started to run through the rain to get to the dorms and out of the rain. They were holding hands the entire time and once they got inside the dorms they both began to laugh.

As their laughter slowly died it turned into giggling and chuckling. They were sopping wet and as they looked at each other still in the eyes they were curious as to what the other was thinking. Rin was thinking of how beautiful she was though Amaya was worrying about Rin finding out who she truly was.

"What are you thinking of," he asked.

"Nothing what about you," she replied.

"I'm thinking of how beautiful you are," he answered before kissing her on the lips again.

As they kissed her worries slipped away and she no longer worried about what would happen in the future. All she cared about was right then and there. It was the first time she didn't worry about her life or future just because of a simple kiss. This was when she began to wonder how she ever survived without him in her life.
