"Rin where are my shoes," Amaya yelled into the cafeteria as she walked in to see Rin getting their lunches out.
"They should be at the front door because we were letting them dry yesterday," Rin told her.
"Thanks," she said before rushing to grab her shoes and brought them into the cafeteria.
She sat on the table and started putting her combat boots on. Rin walked over to Amaya and put her lunch on the table next to her. After finishing on tying her shoes she smiled at Rin.
"So do you want to hang out at the park today," she asked.
"Sure, sounds good," he smiled brightly which made her smile too.
"Rin," they heard Yukio yell out and they both look towards the cafeteria entrance.
Yukio entered the cafeteria and he was prepared in his exorcist uniform. He was still suspicious of Amaya and he had tried to talk about her to Mephisto but he avoided the topic. That made Yukio know that something was up with Amaya and she wasn't a witch but probably a demon but he didn't have proof.
"What's up Yukio," Rin asked as he looked at him questionably.
"I'm going to be going on a mission for a week. That means you have you to behave Nii-san," Yukio announced.
"I can watch after him if you want," Amaya suggested.
"No I already asked Sir Pheles to watch after him," Yukio told.
"Oh….okay well good luck on your mission," Amaya replied.
"See you later," Rin said as he waved.
Yukio nodded before he left the cafeteria. Once Yukio was gone Rin and Amaya prepared to walk to the academy. Once they were prepared they started walking together to the academy. They talked a little bit about the Cram School and exchanged different demon stories but Amaya always hid what time period the stories were actually from.
Once they got to the fountain Rin held her hand and she smiled. She squeezed his hand lightly as they entered the school. Other students looked at them strangely as they walked together holding hands though Amaya knew they would look at them even stranger if they saw what they really looked like.
"Okumura," they heard someone yell out and they both turned to see Ryuji.
Ryuji was walking with Miwa and Shima towards them. Though they were always together as they walked towards Rin and Amaya though once they got close enough Shima groaned. Miwa looked at Shima questionably before seeing Amaya's hand holding Rin's.
"How did he get a girl before me," Shima whined.
The statement just made Amaya laugh and shake her head. Rin chuckled too and Miwa smiled lightly at Rin. Though Ryuji looked at Amaya suspiciously because he was still wondering about her past.
"Congratulations Rin," Konekomaru told the new couple.
"Thank you Konekomaru," Amaya smiled lightly.
The bell rang which made Amaya look at the ceiling. She let go of Rin's hand and waved at the other boys. She then kissed Rin on his cheek and started walking backwards.
"I'll see you at Cram School," she smiled before she began to run to her class.
Rin nodded as he watched her run. He was still curious about her and wanted to know more about her. That was when he began walking with the guys to his class so he wouldn't be late and get into detention because he had a date he did not want to disappoint.
Time/break
Regular classes had ended and it was time for Cram School to start. As Amaya walked to a random door she opened it with her Cram School key to see the other Exwires walking to the classroom. She walked after Rin and ran up behind him. He turned towards her because he heard her running and smiled brightly.
He hugged her close to him and she hugged him also. She chuckled when she felt his tail wrap around her and she looked at him. She kissed his lips lightly and he kissed lightly back.
"How were your classes," he asked once they separated from the kiss and the embrace.
"Boring like usual," she answered as they walked alongside each other to the classroom.
That was when the entire place shook and she looked at the ceiling. He covered her head as some of the ceiling came down on them and she held Rin close. Once the building stopped breaking she noticed that they were trapped in a sort of box like shape of rock and plaster. She pushed against one of the walls along with Rin and they were able to break through.
The entire hallway didn't have a ceiling anymore and the hallway was completely trashed. Rin climbed through the opening first before he held his hand out to Amaya. She took his hand and let him help her out of the box like shape of rock.
"Bon," Rin yelled out as he began walking and about tripped over some of the rubble.
"Kamiki," Amaya yelled out and that was when she saw some of the rubble move, "Rin!"
She ran over and started pushing the rubble off. Rin helped her and they saw Bon and Miwa. They helped them out of the rubble and that was when they heard some rubble move to reveal Shima and Izumo.
"What happened," Izumo demanded.
"Where's Shiemi," Amaya asked as she looked around.
Everyone began to yell out Shiemi's name before Amaya heard a groan. She turned to look at the end of the hall and began to dig the rubble away from where she had heard the groan. She saw Shiemi and Shiemi had a small scratch on her head that was bleeding but not that bad.
"I found her," Amaya announced before all the Exwires made their way over to them.
They helped Shiemi out of the rubble and Amaya stood up as she looked at where the ceiling used to be. All there was what looked like stars and she swallowed. What she could see was the portal slowly fading away and she rushed over to where a door was.
"Help me," she yelled out as she tried digging out the door.
All the Exwires except for Shiemi and Izumo began digging out the door from the rubble. They had to get to the door before the star like pattern disappeared because they would be in Samael's labyrinth. The reason for this was because the star like pattern was the meaning to how the keys worked in the entire True Cross town.
As they finally dug out the door Amaya opened it to see the abandoned dorms that she and Rin lived in. Izumo helped Shiemi through the door before everyone made their way through. Rin and Amaya were the last ones before the portal faded.
"It looks like our battle has just begun dear sister," Samael said as he sensed the Cram School's portal not working anymore, "What will you do now?"
