Prompt: The Wizarding world is known for its lack of common sense. Harry temporarily suffers from the ... ah... affliction. What happened?
How Did You Manage This?
As Hermione looked down at her best friend she could not help but to let out a long put on sigh as she held her wand in her hand and eyed Harry carefully. Part of her was filled with disbelief while another part of her was filled with happiness that their friendship had meant so much to Harry that he fire called her without even thinking about it. It was in these sorts of situations that Hermione knew Harry really valued their friendship but...when she had stepped through the fire and into the living room she would of never of guessed the sight that met her.
"Tell me again how this happened," Hermione asked carefully as she eyed Harry as if he was so sort of experiment, "Are you telling me that you did not use your common sense and willingly took something that the twins offered you."
"I did ask them what it would do to me first," Harry squeaked out only to blush madly at the sound of his voice, "When they told me they had already tested their newest product on three other people I thought that they would of fixed all the bugs."
"But they have not," Hermione finished with a sigh as she flicked her wrist causing her wand to come out of its holder around her wrist and into her hand, "Honestly Harry, I know that a lot of people in the Wizarding world suffers from a lack of common sense but really! You should of known better! Besides could you of not do what normal people do and take the girl on holiday somewhere, maybe Italy?"
"I know...you are right 'mione," Harry replied with a dramatic sigh as he puffed out his chubby cheeks, "I should of used my common sense, anything the twins give you to eat or drink or whatever should be refused and in the future I will just take Laura on holiday to Italy. Now...do you think that you could undo whatever the twins did to me? They said that I would be back to normal in about six hours but I need be at the airport to pick up Laura and her pet hamster, Hamtaro, in four hours."
"Well Harry you certainly know how to get into these sorts of situations," Hermione deadpanned before her eyes suddenly lit up and she let out an excited squeal, "But you my friend make the most adorable hamster ever!"
At his long time friend Harry let out a sigh as his small nose twitched and he ran a small pink paw through his short messy black fur. With hopeful green eyes Harry looked up at Hermione hoping that she could help him out of the mess his was in.
"Hermione...we have been friends for a long time and you are the smartest of all my friends, if you cannot do anything to fix this mess then I am doomed!" Harry cried out as tears fell down his furry face causing Hermione to coo at him, "Please Hermione! You are one of my very best friends! Use all of that knowledge you have and help me out!"
"I will do my best Harry," Hermione promised as her dear friends words warmed her heart, "I promise you."
