Chapter 14: Jewelry Bonney
"Oyaji! Luffy's missing yoi!" Marco yelled as he landed on deck with Ace and Sabo in tow.
"What happened?" He demanded.
"We were training out in the forest and she just vanished…" Marco started worry lacing his words. "It was similar to Kiziru." He continued making Whitebeard narrow his eyes.
"Where are Thatch and Namur?"
"They're out looking for her yoi." By now all the commanders have gathered on the deck awaiting orders.
"Alright everyone go join the search, Marco keep and eye on Ace and Sabo, just incase he's here." Whitebeard ordered.
"Yes Oyaji." Marco confirmed taking off with Ace and Sabo. He's surprised they've been so quiet up till now but he guesses it's because they're so worried.
'Luffy, where are you?' Sabo worried.
'Why do you always have to make me worry?' Ace though chewing on his lip.
'Woah that was weird.' Luffy thought as she looked around. "Where am I?" She asked aloud she is currently in a forest, but she can tell it's different from before because she knows Ace and Sabo aren't on this island.
"Luffy?" said girl instantly spun around to see who called her name. Her smile widened when seeing the long pink hair a bluish purple eyes. She was wearing a light green strapless dress with a light pink floral design at the bottom of the dress that stopped mid thigh and around her waist was a pink snake with a bluish purple pattern on it's scales.
"Bonney!" Luffy yelled running over to give the girl a hug.
"Luffy!" she yelled hugging her back.
"I've missed you so much." They said and giggled.
"What are you doing here? How'd you find me? Where's Sabo?"
"I'm here because I some how teleported here. I think It's one of the powers my devil fruit gives me."
"Cool."
"And technically you found me… I think, I did know you were here though."
"Obviously."
"And Sabo's with the Whitebeard Pirates. Where I was."
"Oh." She said sounding disappointed making Luffy smirk. "So how've you been? I was starting to think I'd never see you again."
"I told you I'd find you someday, and I'm doing fine I've gotten stronger than before as well."
"Me too, I could totally kick some ass in those slave fights now." She laughed. "So aside from the new teleportation trick, are you able to use any of the new powers you could use when you were older?"
"No not yet well not all of them, I can use the Kitsune cloak, but I can't use any of the tailed cloaks yet." Luffy pouted.
"Don't worry it'll come. Hey I want you to meet someone." She said grabbing Luffy's hand and dragging her along.
"Who?"
"Boa Hancock she's on of the 7 war lords, and she's the only female among them. Now that I think about it, it's a good thing Sabo isn't here." Bonney explained
"Why?"
"Well men aren't exactly allowed here, it's a women only island, Amazon Lilly. Any man who comes here is put to death, and Hancock hates men anyways."
"Okay?" Luffy responded confused. "But that explains why I can only see women on this island. Wow!"
"I know right it's amazing, and you don't have to worry about men while walking down the street, and the women here are too innocent to worry about."
"That's nice, but wait does this mean they've never been off the island, and they've never seen a guy?"
"Yeah the only one's who've left the island are the Kuja pirates, but even if the women who stay behind aren't pirates doesn't mean they're not strong. To be beautiful here, you have to be strong."
"Amazing, I love it here, but I still want to go back to Ace and Sabo, and the Whitebeard pirates." Luffy stated with a small smile.
"Yeah I want to see Sabo again as well." Bonney agreed her eyes lost in thought before widening again. "Wait Ace! Whitebeard!" Luffy started laughing again knowing what her 'sister' was thinking. Ever since they were slaves she'd always talk to the new ones and ask them about the outside world. Whitebeards name occasionally popped up, and the more she learned about him the more respect she's gained for him.
"Yeah I'm pretty sure I mentioned staying with the Whitebeard pirates before." Luffy said with a smile.
"Sorry I was too happy seeing you again, first we'll start with Ace." Bonney said grabbing Luffy's shoulders and looking at her expectantly.
"Ace is a boy I meet at Dawn island, he was kind of mean and distant at first, but the more I got to know him, the more I started to like him, the only problem is he's denser than a black hole. I swear you thought you had it bad with Sabo. To make it worse he only sees me as his little sister because of an oath we took. Me Sabo and Ace swore to be siblings like you and me." Luffy explained and then ranted towards the end. Bonney gave her a pat on the back.
"Man that sucks."
"I know, and even if I new I liked him liked him back then I probably still would have taken that oath because he thinks everyone hates him or wants him dead due to certain reasons. If I didn't swear to be his sister he might have hated me."
"Don't worry, little sis, I'll help you out don't worry. Now explain Whitebeard."
"Right well, a little while ago the Celestial Dragons came to visit Dawn Island."
"What!" Bonney shrieked in shock and outrage.
"Yeah, they found Sabo and of course they found me, they tried to take us back… So we ran deep into the mountains to hide, while Dadan our caretakers called Garp… The couldn't find us no matter how hard they looked so… the next night they… they set the Gray terminal on fire, and that spread to the forest and…"
"Luffy stop its okay you don't have to say anymore." Bonney said bringing Luffy in for a tight hug after wiping away all her tears.
"No it's okay because Marco, Thatch and Namur are helping us get over our pasts now, through watching our memories." Luffy said with a smile. "It's like we're separating ourselves from them. I don't know why but sharing our memories with them is really helping us get over it." She explained.
"Really?"
"Yeah you should try it. They're different from everyone we've ever met, they haven't tried anything with us at all, and this one time when we were drugged they gave us something to help us get rid of the drug in our system."
"They really are just like everything I've ever heard." Bonney replied softly.
"Why don't you come back with me?" Luffy asked with a hopeful look in her eyes. "Sabo really misses you too, he's also really worried." She added.
"I really want to but is it really okay… I mean you remember what happened the last time I saw you two." Luffy stopped dead in her tracks as she remembered.
"I'm really sorry about that." Luffy apologized sincerely.
"No Luffy that's not it, I know you had no choice but, I'm worried about Sabo."
"Don't worry, he really misses you. He thinks about you everyday. He really does love you."
"But if he were to see me again what would he do?"
"Probably cry and apologized but I'm sure you could help him move on, if not he'll always have that pain in his heart. Even after I said it's not his fault, so there's nothing to be forgiven, he keeps apologizing to me." Luffy answered.
"I see." Bonney whispered.
"That's why you have to come back. Besides I miss singing duets with you, and I know Sabo does as well. You two were so cute together, you have no idea how jealous I am." Luffy whined and Bonney laughed.
"Okay okay, of course I'll go back with you, we're sisters after all. I just need to say goodbye to Hancock. She did take care of me after all, and she's like us."
Luffy's breath hitched "You mean…"
"Yeah." Bonney answered solemnly.
"Speaking of which you still have the mark don't you?" Luffy asked.
"Yeah." Bonney answered through clenched teeth. "Yours healed and vanished right?"
"Yeah, sorry I can't heal others." Luffy said.
"Yeah I know don't worry it's not your fault."
"But Sabo can." Luffy added with a smile.
"What really?!" Bonney exclaimed.
"Yep, apparently a Tengu can, lick away and heal wounds." Luffy explained. "It's in the saliva." She shrugged.
"So I can finally rid myself of this mark." Bonney cried.
"Yeah." Luffy smiled. "Woah this palace is really pretty.
"Yeah it is, come one Hancock should be in the throne room." Bonney said wiping her tears away as she walked in to a large room.
"Wow." Luffy breathed.
"Ah Bonney, you're back already?" Hancock asked.
"Yes Hancock-sama. I met Luffy the friend I was telling you about."
"Luffy, well it's nice to finally meet you. Bonney has told me much about you, it's nice to finally meet you. I'm glad you escaped as well." Hancock greeted gently.
"Nice to meet you as well. Thank you for taking care of Bonney for me." Luffy bowed respectfully.
"Oh not at all, of course I'd take care of her after everything she's been through." Hancock said. "So Bonney now that you found your sister, what do you plan on doing?"
"I plan on leaving with her."
"I see, well if there's anything you need before you leave let me know. Now be careful out there you too. Especially around those filthy disgusting creatures, they can not be trusted." Hancock said causing Luffy to tilt her head in confusion.
"She's talking about men." Bonney whispered, and Luffy nodded in understanding.
"Thank you Hancock for everything you've done for me up till now." Bonney bowed gratefully.
"Your welcome. Now I must be off, the Kuja's pirates are departing tomorrow afternoon. I must complete my preparations." She said excusing herself.
"Alright then come on lets go to my room so I can pack. Then we can leave. Oh but first." Bonney started as she shot a beam at Luffy, turning them both into 17 year olds.
"Oh I missed this so much." Luffy said as she looked at her body. "I feel so much stronger in this form. I can't wait till I'm really 17." The girls laughed as they gathered up Bonney's things.
"Alright Luffy lets go."
"Right." Luffy was then enveloped in her golden flame. She held Bonney's hands in her own and focused intently on her room on the Moby Dick. The next thing they knew they were there.
"Oh wow. I can't believe I'm actually here." Bonney whispered.
"Yeah come on I'll take you to meet pops." Luffy said grabbing Bonney's hand.
"Pops!" Luffy called as she and Bonney neared his throne.
"Luffy?"
"Yeah it's me, Bonney has a devil fruit ability that can change your age." Luffy explained.
"Where were you? Marco said you just disappeared."
"Oh yeah I just discovered, that I can teleport." Luffy giggled.
"Is that so? And this is?" Whitebeard asked.
"This is Bonney, the girl we were talking about."
"Oh so you found her?" Whitebeard grinned.
"Yep. She really likes you, you know. When we were s-slaves, we heard stories about you. She's always wanted to meet you."
"Oh is that so. Well it's nice to meet you Bonney. Would you like to stay here on my ship with your friends?"
"Yes sir. If that's okay." She replied.
"Of course, but Luffy you really worried everyone you know, especially your brothers."
"Oh, right. They're out looking for me right."
"Luffy?!"
"Izo, Haruta, Vista!"
"Luffy is that really you?!" they asked.
"Yeah it's because of Bonney's devil fruit abilities."
"Oh really, you know your brothers refuse to come back to the ship until they find you." Izo informed.
"And Marco, Thatch, and Namur obviously won't come back either." Vista added.
"Yeah, don't worry we know how to get Sabo back here, and if he comes Ace will follow." Luffy replied smirking.
"Oh I see." Bonney added grinning. "Sabo would be able to hear us from a mile away."
"Exactly." Luffy said as they grabbed each other's hands giving each other soft smiles. "I've missed doing this with you."
"Yeah, me to." The pinkette replied slightly tightening her grip on Luffy's hands.
"What are you doing?" Haruta asked.
"We're going to send a signal to Sabo." Luffy winked with a giggle.
"Well something like a signal anyways." Bonney added while Whitebeard watched on with a curious expression.
"True Friend"

She closed her eyes
Bonney: It's so good to have you around
Their foreheads touched as more crewmembers gathered around to watch their performance with soft smiles on their faces.
Luffy: You know the secrets I could never tell
She sang letting go of Bonney's hands and putting her own on her heart
Bonney: And when I'm quiet you break through my shell
She sang as she twirled around
Luffy: Don't feel the need to do a rebel yell
She sang following after Bonney
Bonney: Cause you keep my feet on the ground
She stopped and grabbed Luffy's hands

Their harmony carrying across the ship and even to the island.

Sabo's eyes widened and his breath hitched.

"What's wrong?" Ace asked.
When something ain't right
"Sabo?" he called when he received no answer.

"Hey Sabo!" He yelled when his brother flew back towards the ship. Ace's yell alerted three commanders and they followed immediately.

Luffy: You don't get angry when I change the plans
Bonney: Somehow you're never out of second chances
Luffy: Won't say "I told you" when I'm wrong again
Bonney: I'm so lucky that I've found
Sabo landed on deck stunned by the voice he was hearing. For the voice he was longing to her again. He took slow hesitant steps toward crowed surrounding where the voice was coming from. He was completely lost in his own world, not paying attention to anyone or anything around him. Ace landed behind him and the Commanders made their way on to the deck as well.
Ace immediately recognized Luffy's voice and was relieved and angry to find her on board. But he held off questioning her until the song was finished. He never heard her sing with anyone but he and Sabo, and was curious to see who this other person is.

The crowed slowly moved to the side as Sabo approached them, his eyes till wide with a disbelief and anxiety. Luffy: True friends will go to the end of the earth

His breath hitched when his eyes landed on the older version of his sister and immediately went to find the cause. He could vaguely her Ace behind him, wondering how Luffy looks older.

The two ended the song in a hug with soft smiles on their faces, further displaying how precious their friendship is. Luffy's eyes caught sight of Sabo and gave him a nervous smile, which Bonney didn't miss. The pinkette froze before slowly turning around to face the one she fell in love with.
"Sabo…" She whispered.
"B-Bonney." She gave a small smile before turning him into his 17 year old self.
"Who else could it be?" She said her smile widening.
Sorry if you don't like Hannah or her songs but this song fits perfectly like I pictured the moment in my head.
Well anyways sorry if it felt rushed, and sorry for updating so late. I'll try to get the next chapter up Asap oh the memory viewing will be starting again, so good bye cute chapters.
