Another Sesame Street sketch rewrite, this time, an Ernie and Bert sketch where Bert tries to explain the Ernie about the number 4. Enjoy and comment.
One day, Ernie was sleeping, when Bert came over.
"Wake up you meatball!" he said, "you're supposed to be learning something!"
Ernie woke up.
"I am learning something!" said Ernie. "I'm learning to count in my sleep!"
Ernie laughed.
"Okay silly." he said "tell me, what is this?"
Bert was holding up the number 4.
Ernie stopped to think for a second.
"Let me think about it for a second."
"Okay." said Bert.
At last, Ernie came up with an answer.
"That is a chocolate cream pie!"
"No!" said Bert. "It's not a chocolate cream pie!"
"Can you give me a hint?" asked Ernie.
"Okay." said Bert. "Watch this."
After showing a film about 4, Bert turned back to Ernie.
"Alright Ernie. After seeing the film, do you know what it is now?"
"Of course I do!" said Ernie.
"Okay then, what is it?"
"That is a banana cream pie!"
Bert made a face, then held up a pie.
"If this 4 is a banana cream pie, then what is this?" asked Bert.
"That's a 4!" laughed Ernie.
Bert, having had enough nonsense, threw the pie in Ernie's face.
"I knew what the number was all along." said Ernie, " but who wants to get hit in the face with a 4?
Bert walked out of the room.
