It does not care who, when or where.
At first he didn't understand.
He was nine at the time,
And he made a mistake.
A mistake that took his little sister from him.
It was years later that he made his second mistake,
A mistake that took his best friend.
Now he knows.
He's waited for his turn,
But somehow he keeps living.
No matter how many dangerous situations he puts himself in,
He keeps living anyway.
Somehow he's still alive,
He wishes it was different,
Somehow, everyone who loves him dies.
It should be him,
Not them.
It breaks him every time.
His time will come eventually,
But there has to be a reason it hasn't.
He doesn't know it yet,
So he'll just have to wait for it.
