I realize this may be a bit presumptuous as it is last minute; but if you are unoccupied for New Year's Eve I know a nice restaurant where we can meet. It is muggle but it predominantly uses candle lighting and is set up as a library. If the date or ambience bothers you or you have a prior commitment feel free to suggest an alternate. I am currently unencumbered as it is a period of down time. I am aware you are unfamiliar with my visage; is there something you would like for me to carry or wear as an identifier?

As much as I… appreciate… such a letter from you (again) I am afraid I was occupied at New year's eve with a Hogwarts teaching staff party, and with news years being greatly celebrated, the owls were bringing in many a letter each day causing quite a few to become lost. I therefore only received this yesterday so I apologise. The setting you described does however sound quite pleasant, if rather formal. If you still wish to meet, mainly to discuss potions however as your first letter required… I would be willing to do so next week-end.
