Chapter Sixteen: Wedding Bells

"KITARU IS MISSING!" The Host Club member screamed.

"Yes, I woke up to check on her and she wasn't in her room. She wasn't in my home." Mori explained. Kita…

I woke up to get ready for school. I had the best night of my life and it is all thanks to Kita. But when I woke up, she wasn't on the bed with me. I then felt something in my hand, it was her necklace. She told me that it used to belong to her late mother but why do I have it? And where is she? I quickly put on my clothes and walked around the house for her but she was nowhere to be found. I then found one of our security guards with a broken arm. "What happened?"

"I don't remember sir. It happened so fast. I was guarding the gate until something hard hit my arm and then my head." He explained. "I blacked out after that. I am happy you are safe though."

Did the Rogue Signet come for her while I was sleeping? Why didn't she try to call me? Mori was wearing her necklace and gripping on it tightly. Where is she? I am so worried.

"First her mother, then Allenson, then Samuel and now her…" Kyoya said. "Something is not right here."

"I have a feeling that something is going on." Haruhi said.

"What are we supposed to do?" Hikaru asked.

"We have no leads." Kaoru added.

"Something bad might happen to her and we are just here doing nothing." Honey said, hugging Usa-chan. "I am so worried Takashi."

"Same here Mitsukuni." Mori said. I knew she was acting strange last night.

"Mori, please don't forget about me."

Damn, I was so blind to see this. What is wrong with me?

"I suggest we get to the bottom of this." Tamaki said. "I am not going to stand here while our friend might be in trouble. It is up to us to help Kitaru and her family."

"But we are still stuck not knowing where to start." Kyoya said.

"So there is no hope after all." Honey cried.

"Hope…" Mori mumbled, digging into his pocket. He pulled out a card that Ashley gave him before she left.

"If something goes really wrong and you feel that all hope is lost, call this number. They can help you." She said, giving her the card to me with a smile on her face.

She knew something like this was going to happen.

"Mori, what's that?" Haruhi asked.

"Ashley gave me this card before she left for her mission. She told me when hope is lost, call this number." He explained. He pulled out his phone and dialed the number. He made sure to put it on speaker so the rest can hear who was on the other line.

"Hello…"

"Hello, please we need your help…" Mori said. "My name is…"

"I know who you are Takashi Morinozuka. I also know that you are in the Ouran Academy in the Music room with your friends. Tamaki Suou, Kyoya Ootori, Hikaru and Kaoru Hitachiin, Mitsukuni Haninozuka, and of course Haruhi Fujioka…. I know all of you very well."

"She knows our names." Hikaru said.

"Is she psychic?" Kaoru added.

"How did you know our names?" Mori asked.

"The only person that knows this number is my friend Ashley. She was assigned to protect you all am I correct?"

"Yes, she is." Kyoya answered.

"Please, Kitaru Fujioka went missing last night along with her mother, uncle, and cousin. There is no sign of them anywhere." Mori explained. "We need your help."

"Come to the chairman's office. I would be waiting for all of you." The mysterious caller hung up.

"We are going to my father's office." Tamaki said. "Why?"

"I don't know." Haruhi said.

"Let's go…" Mori said. "We will find our answers soon enough."

"Right…" They all said. They walked up the stairways to the chairman's office. They made it and his secretary was sitting on her desk.

"I see you all made it." She said, standing up from her seat. She had long golden blonde hair and orange glimmering eyes. She was wearing a white blouse and a black tight skirt with matching heels. She was also wearing glasses.

"Mona Roth, you are the caller." Tamaki said shockingly.

"I work for your father Lord Suou but I am a member of a secret organization called the Soul Blade." Mona explained. "It is the same organization Ashley works for. It is our job to protect our clients and eliminate any threat that comes in our nation. Since most of our clients have children that go to this academy, I made it a point to work here." Then the Chairman entered the room.

"What is this? Why are these kids here?" The Chairman asked.

"Oh, they were giving me suggestions about the academic teachings for our academy sir. I was about to escort them out to the conference room to discuss more about the details." Mona explained. "Do you want something sir?"

"No Mona, you have done enough." The Chairman said. He then turned to Haruhi. "Oh Haruhi, you look beautiful as ever." He then gave her a rose.

"Thanks sir…" Haruhi mumbled. An old version of Tamaki…

"What did I told you? Please call me Uncle…" He said, grabbing her hands. "You would always be taken care of here in this academy."

"FATHER!" Tamaki screamed.

"That's chairman to you boy…" The Chairman said. "Well, make your way to the conference room."

"Yes sir…" They all said.

"Right this way…" Mona said, leading them. "How did you get my number?"

"Well, Ashley gave it to me before she left to her mission." Mori said. "She said only call it when there is no hope. She said you can help us."

"I see…" Mona said. So she gave her card to him. So reckless… I guess that is Ashley for you. She then looked in her tablet. "You can teleport us now…" She plus the host club members were teleported into a secret base. "Welcome to SBO."

"Wow, so teleportation is possible." Hikaru said.

"Amazing." Kaoru said.

"Well, it always has been but we try to keep it to ourselves because it might fall into the wrong hands." Mona said. "Come with me… I would like to take you to our leader. She is expecting you all." They followed her but their eyes were glued to the many gadgets and agents. They walked up a flight of stairs and stopped in front of a door. She knocked.

"Who is it?" A voice said.

"It's me Mona. I brought them." Mona answered.

"Good, bring them in."

She opened the door and they found a beautiful woman with long raven black hair and red eyes. "Welcome to SBO, I am the leader of this organization. My name is Jennifer Phoenix."

"Wait, aren't you chair-woman of St. Louis Academy?" Tamaki asked.

"Of course, it is the only way to look after my clients." Jennifer replied. "I had great news; I got a distress signal from Allenson. He is in the Kenova Palace. Plus, he recorded most of Dmitri's scheme. He is going to force the princess to marry him."

"WHAT?!" They screamed.

"I don't want Kita-chan to marry him." Honey snapped. Mori was gripping his fists and gritting his teeth. He was trying his very best to contained his anger.

"It explains why Kitaru is missing." Mona said. "But how about Ash, any word from her yet?"

"No, of what I've gather from the hidden camera on Allenson's contact lenses is that she is missing and took the Demon Soul with her." Jennifer explained. "Dmitri sent Mathew to look for her."

"I see so he is alive." Mona said, smiling.

"Please help my cousin." Haruhi explained. "I am worried that something bad has happened to her."

"One of our agents found Kitaru boarding a private jet own by King Genoa this morning." Jennifer explained. She then turned to Mori. "She was the one that knocked out the security guard at your resident."

She knocked out my guard. I don't know if I should be mad or proud of her. Mori thought.

"Tell me Lord Morinozuka, did something happen last night, something out of the ordinary?" Jennifer asked.

"Well, she got a phone call from her mother last night." Mori said, hiding his blush. We also had… ahh…

"Mori….Mori…. It feels so good." Kitaru mourned. "Make me feel good… More… More…"

He turned even redder. I think I should just stop there.

"We figure as much." Mona said, letting out a sigh. "He contacted her last night."

"What do you mean?" The twins asked.

"Dmitri must have contacted her last night and threatened her to leave. Plus, Allenson and Samuel are hostages in the palace so she had no choice but to leave." Mona said. "His playing dirty…"

"Ashley was right about him. We should have taken him down when we had the chance." Jennifer said. "He has becoming a nuisance and now he has Kitaru."

"So she left to save her family." Haruhi said.

"But how about the King, surely he can stop this?" Kyoya asked.

"The King is under Dmitri's control." Mona explained. "We tried to get close but Dmitri used the King to rid us away from Kenova. We don't want an international conflict in our hands so we kept our distances and tried to get solid evidences of Dmitri's mind control drug and other evil scheme."

"Dmitri was trying to get the demon soul that is Ashley's body. He almost succeeded but we stopped him but at a cost of one of best agents."

"Mathew…" Mori said.

"That's right. You are aware of Ashley's husband." Jennifer explained. "Both of them were doing a recon mission but were kidnapped by the Ronin Signet. They extracted the demon soul out of Ashley's body and planted into Mathew. In the end, Mathew was lost to us."

"Aunty Ashley, I didn't know…" Haruhi said, looking sad.

"Poor Ash-chan." Honey said, hugging Usa-chan tightly.

"But somehow, he is still alive and working for Dmitri." Mona added.

"Ashley wanted to get rid of the Ronin Signet once and for all plus save Mathew." Jennifer said. "That was the last time we got a hold of her." She then turned to them. "Ashley gave you her card for a reason. The card you have there is more like a call for backup and I believe she wants you all to be her backup."

"But they are kids." Mona said. "Plus they are our clients. We can't put them in danger."

"She is a member of the Host Club and we always risk our lives for each other." Tamaki said.

"We won't take no for an answer." Kyoya added.

"We love her very much and we want to help her." Honey said.

"We might be able to save Allenson and Samuel too." Hikaru said.

"Plus find Ashley…" Kaoru said.

"She is family and family sticks together." Haruhi added.

"Ashley entrusted me with her daughter." Mori said. "I would do anything to get her back."

"So don't try to convince us to leave to you guys." Tamaki said. "If Ashley wants backup then we would give her backup."

"I guess we don't have a choice." Jennifer said, letting out a sigh. Ashley, I hope you are right about this.

"I guess so…" Mona said.

"Mona, suit them up with the best gear we have. I don't know what Ashley is planning but I trust her with her decision." Jennifer said. "Bring Kitaru Fujioka back home."

"Right…" They all said.

Kitaru was sitting on the throne beside her grandfather. She was wearing a stunning white dress and her white hair was decorated with jewels. Even she was in a beautiful dress, she still had a frown on her face. It has been three days that I left my home. I miss the Host Club and Haruhi and Uncle Ranka… Mom, Uncle Allenson and Samuel… please stay safe. She was rubbing her promise ring. I also miss you Mori…

When I got off the plane to Kenova, a man with guards was waiting for me. "It is good to see you again Lady Kitalena. You look so much like Princess Akira." He said. I recognize his voice from the phone call so I knew it was him that threatened me to come here.

"Where are my Allenson and Samuel? What have you done to them?" I asked.

"They are fine and alive my princess. They are in our best cozy cells ever in the Palace." He teased, cupping my face. "My… You are truly a beauty." I tossed his hand away from me. "I see you are rebellious just like your mother. My name is Dmitri and I am happy you decide to join us. We have been trying to get you to come here for years." I walked in the limousine and kept silent and distant from Dmitri. We drove through the kingdom and I notice that there was no one around. Not a single human sighted. As we drove in front of the Palace, he escorted me inside and found paintings of my mother with her parents. I smiled as I continued following him. We stopped in a room and when he opened it, I found an old man being chained to his bed.

"KITARU! YOU ARE NOT SUPPOSED TO BE HERE!" He screamed. "DMITRI. HOW COULD YOU BRING HER HERE!?"

"Shut it old man…" Dmitri snapped. "Say hello to your grandfather…" I walked up to the old man slowly.

"Kitaru you are a splitting image of your mother. You grew up beautifully." The old man said. I kneeled in front of him as he cupped my face. "I am so sorry about this."

"Papa…" I said, crying. I immediately hugged him. "Why are you like this?"

"He is my puppet…" Dmitri said, pulling out a needle.

"STAY AWAY FROM HIM!" I screamed, grabbing on Dmitri but he was too strong. He slapped me and I fell to the floor. He injected my grandfather with the some sort of liquid.

"If you want him alive, you have to do what I say." Dmitri snapped. "Your Uncle, cousin, and grandfather's life is on the line so don't even try to do anything rash."

And here I am… sitting next to my grandfather who is under control and I haven't seen my Uncle Allenson and Samuel yet. I hope they are okay. Mom, where are you?

"Princess Kitalena, my long lost granddaughter would be wed to my most trusted advisor." The King said. "The wedding would be held tomorrow." All of his subjects cheered for the announcement.

Tomorrow… She thought, gripping her chest. I am not ready… I am not ready for this at all. '

"My dear, I am looking forwards to our future together." Dmitri said, grabbing her hand and kissing it lightly. She turned away with a displeasing look. He then moved to her ear. "No frowns my dear or the old man would get it." She turned to him and forced a smile. "That's better…"

"I want to see them." She whispered. "I want to see my Uncle and cousin now."

"All in do times my dear." Dmitri said.

"No, I want to see them now." She said.

"I guess it can't be helped." Dmitri said, offering his hand to her. "Let me take you to them." She grabbed his hand and followed him out the throne room. It was a silent walk to the dungeon which Kitaru was happy about it. She didn't want to hear anything coming out of his mouth. "They are right this way." They moved closer to a cell and found Allenson in chains and Samuel sitting beside him.

"UNCLE ALLENSON! SAMUEL! YOU ARE BOTH OKAY!" Kitaru cried, racing towards the cell.

"Kitaru, what are you doing here? I told you to stay." Samuel said, standing up from the floor and grabbing the bars. "Why don't you listen?"

"I was worried about both of you." Kitaru cried. "I don't want to lose you two."

"You hardly know us milady." Allenson said.

"But you two are important to me." Kitaru said. "I don't care if we don't know each other well; I can't let you suffer because of me. I love you both." Samuel cupped her face and let out a smile.

"You truly are an angel." Samuel said. "I am sorry that you have to go through this. You see, I made a deal with Dmitri. If I get you here, grandfather would be spared but I couldn't do it. I couldn't ruin your life."

"Samuel, I am just happy that you are okay." She cried.

"What a beautiful family reunion. I hope you can make it to our wedding." Dmitri said, pulling her away from the cell.

"Wedding?" Samuel said. "What wedding?"

"Your grandfather proposed a wedding in front of the whole kingdom, our wedding." Dmitri said. "The ceremony would be held tomorrow. I hope you are not busy by then."

"You bloody bastard. I told you to stay away from my niece." Allenson snapped. "I WON'T ALLOW THIS TO HAPPEN! YOU HAVE GONE FAR ENOUGH OF HURTING MY FAMILY! YOU BRAINWASHED MY BROTHER IN LAW AND KIDNAPPED MY SISTER, AND NOW YOU ARE FORCING MY NIECE INTO MARRIAGE. I WON'T ALLOW THIS!"

"Uncle?" Kitaru said, letting out a smile. He finally called me niece.

"You don't even realize how much I wanted to be part of your family." Dmitri said.

"My sister rejected your marriage proposal, big deal… Move on with your damn life and leave my niece and master out of this." Allenson snapped.

"I afraid I can't. I am going to obtain power to prove my worth." Dmitri said. "And I am not going to let you stop me."

"Well, you are missing something." Samuel said.

"What is it boy?"

"In Kenova, the princess must give a necklace with our crest to their husband to be." Samuel said. "This necklace has been passed down to generation to generation. The last person who had this necklace was…"

"Akira…" Dmitri said.

"If you marry my cousin off with just a mere ring, the people would find it suspicious." Samuel said. "Also, they won't see you as the new ruler without it."

"The necklace must be somewhere." Dmitri said, making Kitaru face him. "So Princess, I have a feeling you know something about this."

"I don't know what you are talking about." Kitaru said.

"Don't you lie to me. You know something about this." Dmitri said. "Where is this necklace?"

"I gave it to my husband to be." Kitaru replied. "And you cannot beat him. He is strong and brave. No one can beat him."

"That is what they say about your mother and look at her now." Dmitri teased. "She is dead and she is never coming back."

Mathew looked through the river that she drove into. There was no sign of her anywhere. It has been three long days and nights of searching. My wife… she is my wife… Why didn't she tell me? He then found a coat on the riverside near the town. "She must have walked out the river and into town. She can't be far." He raced into town but there were no townspeople. It was abandon due to the King's orders. He then found blood on the ground and it leads to a mansion. His head was pounding in pain as he pushed the gate away. What's happening?

"HEY KID, STAY OUT OF THE HISATAKE CLAN'S MANDSION!" The guard screamed. I was holding on to the gate to dear life. "STOP THIS AT ONCE!"

"PLEASE LET ME WORK HERE! I PROMISE I WOULD WORK REALLY HARD!" I pleaded loudly.

"Lord Hisatake would never accept a runt like you so get lost." The guard snapped.

"Please, let me see him. I know I can change his mind." I pleaded.

"So I used to live in this town when I was little." Mathew said, walking through the gate. He then looked up at the mansion and stared at a balcony on the right side of the mansion. That balcony…

"Please, let me see Lord Hisatake." I pleaded. I turned my gaze to the balcony and saw the most beautiful girl I have ever seen. She had long red hair and pink glimmering eyes. She was wearing a pale violet kimono and her red lavishing hair was decorated with jewels. She was an angel and was staring at me.

"What is going on here?" A man said. He was tall and muscular and had spiky long red hair. His eyes were blue yet demonic.

"Sorry milord but this kid doesn't want to leave. He wishes to work here." The guard explained. "I tried to chase him away but he wouldn't leave."

"I see…" The man said. "Come here child, let me get a look at you." I walked up to him and he stared at me for a brief moment. "You look pale and weak. Why should I hire you?"

"Please, give me a chance." I said. "I promise to work very hard."

"Why do you want to work here in the first place?" He asked.

"I have nowhere else to go. I tried to get a job in the market place and the docks but they wouldn't accept me. I have tried everything milord." I explained.

"I see… come into my home." He said.

He walked inside the mansion and was deserted as well. It was filled with dust and spider webs. I remember being here before.

"Please sir, I would not disappoint you. Let me work here." I begged. I was on my knees, begging for Lord Hisatake for a job. I know it was a long shot but I just had to try. I was starving and have nothing. I need to get a job here.

"Fine but don't get in the way." Lord Hisatake said. "What is your name kid?"

"Mathew, my name is Mathew Pua." I answered. Inside, I was overjoyed. I finally have a job.

"Well, you come from a samurai clan. Do you know how to fight?" He asked.

"Yes, I do but I wasn't strong enough to save my whole clan." I said. Yes, my clan was killed by the Rogue Signet. I was the only survivor.

"My daughter is the future heir to my clan. With your skills, I want you to serve her and guard her with your life. Do I make myself clear?"

"Yes, I do master…"

"Good… ASHLEY!" He called. "COME HERE FOR A MOMENT." Then the world stopped spinning when I saw that beautiful angel walking in the room. "Ashley this will be your new bodyguard. He would guard you while you bathe and sleep." She turned her gaze towards me and I froze. She was so beautiful that I was lost for words.

"What is your name?" She asked. I kept staring at her. My eyes couldn't turn away from her. "What is your name?"

"Oh sorry… My name is Mathew Pua." I said, scratching my head and blushing at the same time. I then bowed in front of her. "I will protect you with my life milady."

He walked up the stairway and found a door open. He walked to the door and found her, lying on her bed in a kimono. His heart started to race when he found her sleeping peacefully on the dusty bed. Instead of pulling out his blade, he sat on the bed beside her and cupped her face.

She was sleeping on her bed and I would always sit near the window, guarding her and watching the night sky. She was an odd girl because she doesn't show any emotions. She doesn't even laugh or smile. She doesn't even cry or frown. She keeps a straight emotionless face and I wish, I wish someday I would see her smile.

"Mommy…" She said in her sleep. I walked to her and found her hugging her pillow and for the first time, she was smiling. It was the most beautiful smile I have ever seen. "Mommy, I miss you so much…" Of what I have learned, Lady Hisatake passed away due to an illness.

"I know what you are going through. I lost my parents as well." I said. I then grabbed her hand. "I know you feel pain milady but I promise to protect you with my life. I would never leave you."

"Thank you Mathew…" She said. I was shocked. Did she said that to me in her sleep or she is awake? I was confused. But it didn't matter, I made her a promise and I would keep it.

"I remember now… I know what you are to me and what I am to you." He said. He then cried. "After saving you from Dmitri, I was dying in your arms. But then there was an explosion and I lost you." He then started shaking. "All I remember is that I woke up in a tube. I was being experimented and I was lost. I didn't know who I was. I am so sorry. Please forgive me…"

"Stay away from her, boy…" A screech screamed. He found Ashley covered her black ooze. "Don't you dare touch her." The kimono disappeared and she was exposed in front of him. Her armed was covered with armor and her red lavishing hair transformed into raven black.

"You must be the demon."

"Of course, if you are dying to know." It screamed. "Every 100 years, I choose a body from the Hisatake Clan. I chose Ashley. However, you humans tried to take me away from her for samples. To create an army with my power, selfish humans cannot take me away from her. That Dmitri tried once, stealing her away and making her like a lab rat. He even used the sample on you. You almost died with me in your pathetic body." The black ooze was healing Ashley's wounds. "My poor child, you don't deserve such torment."

"But I do have a piece of you inside me." Mathew said.

"Of course you do. Somehow your pathetic body quickly adapted to me. This doesn't change anything. I would only be with Ashley."

"Why do you serve her?" He asked.

"When I had my own body and flesh, I terrorize the humans viciously. Many tried to slay me but they couldn't. I was too powerful. Eventually, the humans brought a whole army and struck me with poison. I was going to die but I didn't. I ended up being a spirit. I continued tormenting the humans until I met a poor man. He wasn't scared of me and offers me most of his food. He said he was an outcast due to his blindness and no one wants him just like me."

"So you fused with him."

"Of course and my soul would live on in the Hisatake Clan." It said. "But it would soon end today if I don't keep her alive." The ooze transformed into a phantom and hovered around him. "Keep her alive and if you try to kill her. I would end your life."

"That won't be necessary." Mathew said.

"I may be a demon soul but I do feel her pain and suffering. I was there when she lost her mother and also her father. I was also there when she lost you. I don't know what is your motive are but please erase her pain."

"I will..." He said. "I know where my loyalty lies now." The demon soul fuse with her body and it started to glow. The markings on her body appeared once more and her heart started beating normally. As the light faded away, her eyes fluttered open. "Ashley…"

"Mathew…" She said. "Are you here to take me back?"

"Yes…" He replied. She forced herself up and her arm still was covered by the demon form. She summoned her blade out of her arm and raced swiftly towards him. She sliced him from every direction while he tried his best to dodge her attacks. She is fighting back… He then caught a glimpse of her eyes. It was filled with rage. "Ash…"

"I should stop thinking that you are him. That you are my husband." She said. "It is because of you that my daughter is in danger. I can't afford to lose her just like I did with you. You are my enemy not my husband. I don't love you."

"Ashley…" He said. She gave up on me. "You are lying to yourself."

"I DON'T LOVE YOU! I DON'T!" She snapped. "I can't… I can't…"

"Ashley…" He said, grabbing her. I am sorry mistress… I am truly am.

"I WON'T LOSE ANYONE ELSE!" She screamed, leaking tears and moving away from him. "I can't lose anyone else. I just can't…" She then started shaking. "Life is mocking me right now. Making my husband fight me, making him my enemy… My heart can only bare so much pain." She continued him on attacking him so violently. She was not leaving an opening for him. "Just when I thought I moved on and found someone to love, it is all going to leave me. I can't even protect anyone."

"And you won't Mistress." He said, pulling her into his embrace. "No one is going to leave you especially me."

"Mathew?" She mumbled. Her blade and armor disappeared. Her hair was back to vivid red. "I don't understand. I thought you wanted me dead. I thought you want me to kill me."

"I broke my promise to you." He said. "Please let me make it up to you. I remember who I am. I know what you are to me. I love you and I am sorry for hurting you so much. Please give me another chance. Please forgive me." She then kissed him lightly on the lips but he didn't stop there. He pulled her closer and swirled his tongue with hers. "Ashley…"

"I am glad that you remember." She said, crying. "I missed you so much." He wiped her tears away and hugged her once more. "I am so sorry… I am so sorry…" She then fainted in his arms. He hugged her tightly and leaked tears.

"I am back and this time I am here to stay." He cried. "I won't leave you again." He then felt something that struck him into fear. She didn't have a pulse. He pulled back and checked her. She wasn't breathing and her heart stopped beating. "Ashley?" He started shaking her. "Ashley, wake up… This is not funny, Wake up now. I can't lose you like this. I just remembered… I can't… I can't… please… don't leave me…" He then cupped her face while his tears dripped on her. "ASHLEY!"

In the Morinozuka Home, Mori was packing. She is getting married tomorrow. I have to stop this. I have too…

"Lord Morinozuka, there is something we found out about Kitaru." Jennifer said. I was in their sparring room training with Honey.

"Really? Is she okay?" I said.

"I hope she is okay." Honey said.

"Well, she is fine and alive but she is getting married tomorrow." Jennifer said.

When I heard that, I couldn't control myself. My Kita is getting married to a jerk. I can't let that happened.

"I see that you are leaving," His father said, standing by the door. "When were you going to inform me that you are leaving to Kenova?"

"I am sorry father but I have a lot in my head right now. I need to save her." Mori said. "She left because of her family is kept hostage. She is even being forced to marry another man. I can't let her marry him."

"So she is important to you?" He asked.

"Of course she is. I love her and I would not allow her to marry someone that won't give her the love that she deserves." Mori said.

"Then I wish you the best of luck son." He replied.

"What?" Mori said, staring at him with shock. "You actually letting me save her and you didn't like the fact that she was living with us."

"What made you think that?" He asked.

"Well, you didn't like her cooking and cleaning." Mori said.

"It is because I didn't want her to work. I wanted her to live a life of ease. How can I keep my vow to her parents if she insists of living as a commoner?" He replied.

"What?" Mori said. "I don't understand."

"I see, she didn't tell you. I guess it is up to me." He said. "When you first brought her here to our home, I asked to talk with her alone. Do you remember?"

"Yes and I forever wonder what you and her talked about." Mori said.

"Well, I propose to her an arranged marriage with you." He replied. Mori was shocked, so shocked that he sat on his bed.

"What? Why would you do that?" Mori asked.

"Do you remember when I was always stuck in the office and always missed your Kento tournaments?" He said, walking towards the bed and sitting beside his son.

"Yeah, I was six at the time." Mori said.

"Well, we were almost in the verge of bankruptcy. I was scared for our family. Your mother was ill at the time and you were going to an expensive school. I was afraid that everything that we love even our home would be taken away from us." He explained. "I know that you wanted me to be there but I am sorry for making you feel neglected. I was trying to keep our family together and keep our home."

"But what does this have to do with Kitaru's parents?" Mori asked.

"Her parents were helping me. They were the reason why we are still here." He answered. "I was going to repay them but sadly, they passed. I promised them to look for Kitaru and give her the life she deserves."

"So you were going to let me marry her to keep that promise." Mori said. Oh no, don't tell me that she like me because of my promise, Please tell me that this isn't true…

"Pretty much…" He said, letting out a smile. "You shouldn't worry about it. She didn't say yes."

"What?" Mori said.

"She declined my offered and told me that she loves you very much." He said. "She didn't want marriage to be forced on you. She didn't even know you love her back. She had a chance to live a life of ease and riches but she declined because she just wanted your love. A woman like that is worthy of my blessing."

"She really said all that." Mori said, letting out a smile. She really does love me. Kita… I love you so much… You are truly an angel. He gripped on to her necklace. I am going to get you back no matter what.

"Yes she did. She is a good girl and I rather have her in our family than some spoiled brat that doesn't know anything about hardship and labor." He said, patting his head. "Go get her son…"

"Thanks father." Mori said. "I would get her back."

"And we will help." A voice said. They turned and found the whole Host Club at the door.

"Hey Uncle Morinozuka, we are off to save Big Sis." Honey said, smiling.

"Also Mona gave us a ride." Haruhi said, smiling. "Dmitri is holding a ball tonight to celebrate the engagement. So that is our ticket in."

"We are part of the entertainment crew." Kyoya said. "Also is a masked party which we are highly familiar with."

"So we better hurry if we want to crash that wedding." Tamaki said.

"Well, you can count on us to crash a wedding." Hikaru said.

"That's our specialty." Kaoru added.

"But you guys, we are only doing recon." Haruhi said, letting out a sigh. "We need to gather information before we crash the wedding."

"Then I wish you all good luck." Lord Morinozuka said.
