Roxas and Namine entered the house. The blonde girl sighed as they slipped off their shoes. Roxas looked up at her, she had a worry written all over her face, he smirked and locked the door. She's probably worried that Kairi will walk right in again.
They sat on the living room, Namine was stil wearing the look on her face. Roxas gave her a cheery smile, hoping she'll feel better. She sighed. "What's wrong?"
"Its Kairi." She looked down on the tan carpet.
"What about her?" His smile faded away, he wants to know what's up. Did something happen to her and Kairi in the past?
"The way she acted towards you, I hope she doesn't treat you like that. I care about you," she turned her gaze onto him.
Roxas smiled, and he rubbed her shoulder, letting her know that he'll be fine. But she doesn't believe it. "I'll be fine, and I won't let a woman treat me like that. "
"Roxas, you don't need her. Date me instead!"
Roxas was shocked. "I can't just dump her like that, I'll be fine."
She sighed as if he didn't get her point, she nodded and she didn't say another word. "Just don't worry to much," Roxas said.
Suddenly his phone rang in his pocket, he fished for it and he answered it. "Yes Kairi."
"Where the hell are you? I've been looking for you! You better not be at Namine's!" She yelled.
Namine could hear every word that she said, she couldn't believe that she's treating Roxas like this and he told her , he'll be fine. Well its not going to well right now.
"Stop yelling. I can't see my friend?"
"You can't hang out with other girls! You're such a player!"
Anger grew upon Namine, she took Roxas' phone away from his ear and she hung up on Kairi. Roxas looked at her with wide eyes, he read her face; he didn't dare to say a word, she might blow up at him.
She turned off his phone, she held it in her hand, she just couldn't stand Kairi's behavior towards her best friend. "If it happens again, I'll block her on your phone!"
"But, you just made her more mad."
"Roxas, you can't let her act like that, it just isn't nice! You deserve somebody better!"
"Can I call her back?" He asked.
"What are you crazy? She's just going to yell at you even more. You should just leave with me and I'll make sure you don't call her!"
"I need my phone!"
"I'll give it to you tomorrow. "
"Look, I'm sorry that Kairi is making you mad, I can't help it. But I'll talk to her when I see her."
"You need to leave her! I don't want our friendship to end!" Namine burst into tears.
Roxas wiped those tears away off her face. "It won't, you worry too much."
"Roxas, she might break you!"
"Stop crying, its going to be okay," he rubbed her back such made Namine feel better. Namine looked him in the eyes, and so did Roxas. They both leaned in with their lips locked into a kiss.
Roxas pulled away. "I can't, I should go." He rose from the couch and he slipped on his shoes and left the house.
