(The twins are nine)
The bell rang for dinner; Ayoko left her friends in the hall and went straight to the library. She had been trying to find out more about her dream, the young wizard had asked her teachers about the three headed dog but they had refused to talk about it. Of course their attitude to not discuss the matter with her only made her more curious. Ayoko hurried along the hall and into the library.
"You said that beating him down was the goal, to make him not believe in himself" Yori argued with his brother.
"I have accomplished that, he is terrified of me" Katio sat on one of the benches in the cafeteria, eating his lunch.
"It's not enough" Yori slammed his fist on the table.
Katio glanced sideways at his brother. Hate was a strong emotion; he could see Yori had been devoured by it.
"Why should you need my help?" Katio asked.
"C-Cause" Yori paused, not really having anything else to add.
"Fine I'll come with you" Katio huffed; he slowly stood from his seat, leaving his lunch at the table.
Yori smirked, as he walked beside his brother, following Kiyoshi out of the dinner hall. Yuki looked up seeing the two twins follow the smaller boy, the blonde slowly stood, leaving the table and Meghan's side.
Ayoko walked down the side of one of the book shelf, she was searching in history. The purple haired wizard ran her finger over the old books; she paused and looked at one that read Lord of the Underground. Ayoko titled her head as she looked at the banner, there at the bottom was the picture of the three headed dog she had seen. She slowly pulled it out; the old book was dusty and torn.
She slowly opened it, her heart was racing, and her palms had become clammy. Something about the book made her feel anxious, almost afraid. She turned to the middle page, there on the side was a drawing of a large water hole, in it there were people crying and trying to grab on to the high side.
"Spirits" Ayoko whispered as her hand traced over the faces of the dead.
Her gaze wondered up, on the high platform stood a man. He was a surrounded by darkness, his face hardly visible. Ayoko squinted trying to see if she could recognize him, but it was hopeless.
"Who are you…?" she questionably whispered to herself.
She turned the page, again there was another drawing of the man but this time he was stood with a three headed dog, the animal from her dream. Her heart missed a beat as she looked into the dogs eyes, all the feelings from her nightmare came flooding back. Her legs became weak and her body trembled, she shakily placed her finger on the page as she tried to read what was written beside the picture.
Cerberus
He guards the Gates of Hades and keeps the ghosts of the dead from leaving the Underworld.
Ayoko looked up as she thought for a moment
"You thought I was trying to leave, wait! Was I in the Underworld?"
"Ayoko…!" Meghan shouted into the library
"K-Kiyoshi, t-the twins-"she panted
Ayoko didn't allow her friends to finish as she placed the book back on the shelf and raced out of the library
"Where is he?" she questioned as she ran through the halls
"T-Toilets" Meghan answered, running just behind her friend
Ayoko raced through the doors, there in front of her was Katio. He had pinned Yuki to the wall. The blonde was crying, fear in her eyes.
"Move away from her!" Ayoko screamed
Yori came out of the boy's toilets, blood on his school shirt, Ayoko's eyes widened
"W-What did you do!?"
The purple haired wizard raced past Yori and in to the toilets
"Kiyoshi?" she called
Her voiced echoed into the hallway, Katio let go of Yuki.
"Now you know not to get in my way" he warned the blonde
Yuki chocked as she was realized, she placed her hand on her neck. Tears still pouring down her flushed cheeks, Yori smirked and stood to the side. Yuki raced in to the toilets, there on the floor was Kiyoshi, blood all smeared on his face. Ayoko was holding him, crying.
"I-I'm sorry, I'm sorry Ayoko, it's my fault I shouldn't have followed him, they would have never hurt him this bad if I hadn't gotten in the way" the blonde sobbed
Ayoko turned and shook her head
"No, it's not your fault" she said, her voice low
Kiyoshi turned his head weakly to look at Yuki, he moaned in pain as he tried to move.
"Come on, I'm going to take you home" Ayoko told her brother
"W-What about mum?" Kiyoshi panicked, he didn't want his parents to see him like this
"It's fine, they said they were going to buy our birthday presents today" she smiled, reassuring him
Kiyoshi nodded his head and placed his arm around his sisters neck, Ayoko pulled her baby brother up to his feet. Yuki walked forward and helped, she placed her hand over Kiyoshi's blood stained shirt. She felt nothing but guilt, her stupid decision to interfere had led to this.
The three walked slowly out of the toilets, the two Wolfclaw twins stood to the side, both with smirks on their faces. Ayoko turned her head and looked at them, her teeth gritted.
"He can walk then" Katio laughed
"You…" Ayoko growled
"Don't, leave it" Kiyoshi begged
The purple haired wizard removed her arm from around her brother, so all his weight was resting on Yuki.
"You think this is funny? Bullying people?" Ayoko yelled
"Don't look at me, ha-ha, Yori is the one that did all that, I was simply making sure he didn't get interrupted" Katio explained "Trust me if I had gotten near your brother, he would be worse than that" the dark haired wizard warned
Ayoko's gaze wondered over to Yori then back to Katio
"It doesn't matter who did it, your both monsters!" she cried, feeling nothing but anger
Katio stood, darkness appearing from his hands
"So? What are you going to do Ayoko, scream at me a little louder?" he mocked
Ayoko gritted her teeth; she knew she couldn't call upon her God's. She was being tested for her new God, so she couldn't use her magic, not until she past the final test.
"No" she said calmly
She stood straight, her head held high, her dark brown eyes fixed on Katio
"I'll get you back, for everything you have done, I will make sure both me and Kiyoshi are the ones that bring you down at the Kingdom Hall Games, and you will be defeated by the Fairy Tail twins. I promise you"
A/N: Omg…! So emotional. I'm sorry I've posted late this week, been rather lazy which is not good I know but I am back on my computer typing away ^.^ hehe I know I say this is most of my authors notes but so much is going to happen soon, I really cannot wait to show you…! There is this one part that I can't wait to start writing, going to be so epic…!
