Ron shuffled in towards the warmth encasing him. He felt well rested and very comfy. He snuggled deeper into the smoke scented fabric. Wait, smoke? Opening a lazy eye, he saw flannel pajamas. Pulling away from the odd flannel, he noted that he was cuddled next to Professor Weasley. He squeaked in indignation. He hadn't slept that close to a person since he was seven and a particularly large spider had made it's way onto his pillow. He was just lucky that one of the older boys allowed him to sleep in his bed that night to avoid the spider.

But that didn't bother him so much as wondering why he was sleeping so close to one of the many red haired males. He nearly jumped when he heard snoring from behind. He slowly rolled over to see Fred sleeping on his other side and George close by. Harry had somehow ended up with his head on Curse breaker Bill's shoulder sleeping completely unaware. That was four out of five Weasley boys. Where was the Prefect Percy?

And damn he had to use the loo.

He began trying to maneuver out of the odd blanket and pillow fort when he realized he had one arm wrapped tightly around his chest. One that was not letting go anytime soon. He had no idea that Professor Weasley had the strength to keep him down while he slept. He pinched his arm with his right hand. Nothing happened. Not even a grunt. How was he supposed to wake him? Unless...

Desperate times called for desperate measures. He pinched Fred's arm. The twin shot up in confusion.

"Wazz' Uh?"

"Get him off me," Ron elaborated getting Fred's attention. Fred stared blankly for a moment before chuckling. He pulled his wand from his sleeve and muttered a spell. But it didn't remove the arm. Instead, a camera came flying into the fort and into Fred's hand. Ron's eyes bugged as Fred readied the lenses.

"Don't you dare- ack!" He cried out as the camera flashed before his eyes leaving spots of light dancing in his vision. Fred continued with a barrage of flashes taking more pictures drawing Charlie out of his sleep. Opening an eye he was also blinded by Fred's pictures. He groaned and let go of Ron trying to slap the camera from Fred's hands. Ron squirmed out from under the slapping hand and the red haired boys as he crawled out from the fort and ran to the bathroom.

"Aw c'mon Charlie, it was funny!" Fred laughed as Charlie lightly beat Fred. George groaned as Fred rolled back to avoid Charlie, landing onto his brother. George pushed his twin off and onto Charlie. The three began to wrestle waking Bill and Harry. Bill rolled his eyes at his younger siblings antics. Harry just looked bewildered.

"Don't worry. This is normal," Bill assured Harry. Harry looked around at the fort of yellow and red pillows and blankets. He didn't ask if he meant the fort or the fighting. Neither were things he had been allowed to do at the Dursleys. In fact, the closest he had seen was when Dudley had thrown all the cushions and blankets around for the best viewing position of a show that was playing all day after complaining he was sick to miss school.

"Arthur. Are you ready?" Molly asked as she fixed Ginny's coat. They already had their trunks ready and the presents packed for Christmas. All they needed was Arthur so they could arrive as a family. Ginny was bouncing excitedly wanting to see Hogwarts and her brothers.

"Yes dear," Arthur appeared with his large worn coat and long red and gold scarf from his own days at Hogwarts. He had a bag full of muggle items.

"Arthur!"

"Oh come now Molly. This may be the only opportunity I have in a long while to learn what the function of a rubber duck is!"

Ginny wasn't quite sure why her dad was talking about an odd duck thing muggles used. Out of all the items muggles had, the duck was one that her father constantly questioned.

"Oh dear. The students are home with their families... For the holidays."

Ginny looked at her mother. She seemed sad. She wrapped her arms around her mother to try and make her feel better. After all, they were the only girls in the house. They had to stick together.

"Oh... Well the twins are taking muggle studies so perhaps they'll ask."

Molly rolled her eyes.

"Well, let's get going. We've only got a few days with all of them."

Ginny noted a surprised and slightly pained look on her father's face. She scrunched her nose irritated that she had no idea what was going on. She'd have to talk to Fred and George about it when she saw them at Hogwarts. They'd help her. They didn't like to not know what was going on.

This looked like it would be a Christmas to remember.

The day had gone on rather splendidly for the Weasley boys and the two first year boys. They had taken to bundling Harry and Ron up and taking them out for snowball fights. Running around in the white fluff, Fred and George had bewitched a few to hit Professor Quirrel in the back of his turban. By the end of the day they were blue lipped and laughing. Fred and George regaled tales of their glorious battle in the winter bound grounds to any student who had decided to stay for the holidays.

Far and few, there were still many tales of how Fred and George had teamed up with Charlie against Bill, Percy, Harry and Ron.

Walking around the castle in a huddle, they all gradually grew warmer with the body heat and being out of the snow. They had made a stop by the kitchens for marshmallow, sandwiches and hot chocolate. Ron jumped nearly a foot seeing small shriveled, dark skinned creatures with pointy ears and large eyes offer him food.

"What? It's a house elf," Bill explained. Neither Ron nor Harry knew what to do. It grew especially embarrassing when Harry had thanked them for the food. The bawled hearing such kindness. Ron didn't know what to do.

"Do they not hear thank you often?" he questioned Professor Weasley.

"Ah, not really. Many remain hidden back in the kitchens or doing laundry, or cleaning the castle. They enjoy the work and remain mostly hidden."

They all left the room with food and marshmallows to roast in the dorm, avoiding the teachers such as Snape who would get them in trouble and return the food. Even though Bill and Charlie had both already graduated, even they weren't safe. In fact they would be reprimanded and threatened with a letter to their mother. Suprisingly, McGonagall threatened that more so than Snape did.

Sneaking through the school, they entered the Fat Lady's picture and entered the common room.

"There you are!"

The Weasley boys froze hearing the all too familiar screech. Harry and Ron froze as well, hearing the unfamiliar voice. Both stared as a stout, pudgy red haired woman walked over to them from the fireplace, accompanied by a taller man who bore a striking resemblance to Percy and the twins. Along with them was a red haired girl who looked over everyone and froze when she saw Harry.

"Hello?" Harry questioned more than stated. The girl depend and hid behind the man.

"Aw c'mon Gin, you're not scared of this skinny prat are you?" George joked grabbing Harry and putting him in a headlock.

"Nothing to fear from the scrawny git," Fred joined in.

"She is afraid of Harry? He's not scary. Bloody Snape is scary," Ron grumbled. He had a hunch who these people were. They seemed to be familiar with the brothers, so it was likely that they were the mum, dad and little sister they had mentioned.

"I'm not scared," she replied hotly. Her face turning red with anger. She came out from behind her dad and gave him a once over. The red hair, the freckles painted on his face, and his stricking eyes reminded her of her brothers.

"Ah, calm down Gin."

"Just a joke."

"And what are you all doing here?" Charlie questioned. It was the mother who decided to answer.

"Well we were going to go to Romainia to visit you for Christmas until we found out you weren't there!" she yelled. Charlie looked admittedly ashamed but she didn't stop there, "You didn't floo, you didn't call! Bill had to send a letter saying you were both here! Do you know how hard it is to get an international port Key? Do you know how worried sick I was when I thought you were in Romainia but you were here!?"

Charlie wisely didn't say anything as she continued on her tirade. She only stopped when her eyes landed on the two bewildered first years.

"You must be Harry," she said looking first at Harry. She then turned her head to Ron when shock appeared across her features, "A-and Ron."

Fred and George looked at one another in confusion. Sure they had wanted to adopt Ron. And the mystery of Whetley-Weasley he had been called up as was something to speculate even if he insisted on just Whetley. Why was their mum choking up? Did they have a missing cousin they had never heard about? They perfered the idea of brother over cousin but it did make sense if their mother did have a missing distant nephew.

Their dad also looked shocked, but in a different way. One they couldn't identify. Fred and George glanced over at abill and Charlie who held expressions of a somber understanding. Percy on the other hand remained fairly passive not showing any emotion.

"Um, yes. I'm Harry. Harry Potter," Harry introduced ignoring the odd tension.

"Uh, Ron. I'm Ron Whetley."

CHAOS! Yes. Um... gah! And Merp.

So Molly, Ginny and Arthur are now at Hogwarts with Ron and Harry with Hermione home for the Holidays.
