A few months pass: June
(Twins are ten)
"Show me!" Ayoko demanded
She sat on her upon three headed dog, which was now towering above most of the trees, Ayoko had learned how to transform her cute puppy into its original size, it had taken a while to master but now she knew how to use it, she was always riding the beast, Today she had decided to bother Kiyoshi, she was becoming inpatient, she wanted to see his magic.
"I said no!" her brother yelled back at her from the ground
They were both in the forest because it was the best place to train. Kiyoshi started to walk off; Ayoko commanded her dog to follow.
"Jus show me a little" she begged, resting her head on one of the dog's head
"I said I would show you when I was ready" Kiyoshi moaned, not turning around
It was midday; the twins had been out since morning. Kiyoshi was frustrated because his sister wouldn't leave him alone to train, he stormed back home, kicking the grass as he went. Ayoko followed, bouncing around on her dog, laughing.
"Show me a simple spell, just a little one, please, come on you know my magic, it's not fair" she complained all the way back.
Kiyoshi burst through the back door, Erza was in the living room, cleaning.
"Hi sweetheart, is everything alright?" she asked
"No! Ayoko won't stop bothering me" he huffed and sat on the sofa
Ayoko came skipping in, holding Cerberus in his puppy form. Erza stood in the centre the room, her hands on her waist. Ayoko paused, looking at her mother. Before Erza could say anything the front door knocked. The scarlet haired mother motion for her daughter to stay put while she went and answered the door.
"Why did you tell on me?" Ayoko moaned, leaning on the back of the sofa
"You wouldn't leave me alone" Kiyoshi huffed
"Ayoko you have a letter from Kingdom Hall" Erza closed the front door slowly; she had a bunch of letters in her hand.
Ayoko's eyes widened, she placed Cerberus down and bounced over to her mother. She took the letter, tearing it open, she read it aloud
Dear Ayoko Fernandes
Your name has been brought to our attention, being one of the top five highly graded students in your school.

Please keep this letter as evidence of your application; your parent/guardian will need to sign the form below, this must be returned to us using the pre stamped envelope provided. Once we have received your signed copy we will then place you on our system, officially making you a competitor in the Kingdom Hall Games.
We wish you the best of look, and cannot wait to see you compete.
Yours Sincerely
Master Kokusai
Ayoko squealed and bounced around, waving the letter in the air
"I've been chosen for Kingdom Hall Games, I'm going to show daddy!" she giggled and raced up the stairs, Cerberus racing behind her, struggling up the big steps.
Kiyoshi turned his head and looked down; he began fiddling with his hands, his palms becoming sweaty while his heart thumped hard against his chest. Erza flicked through the rest of the mail, smiling. She pulled out a blue envelope, it had Kiyoshi's name on it.
"You've got a letter to" Erza mentioned, looking at her son
She had noticed it wasn't the same plain envelope Ayoko had received. Kiyoshi slowly looked up to her, his light grey eyes fixed on the envelope, he bit his lip nervously. Erza looked back at the letter in her hand; she slowly opened it and read it to herself.
Dear Kiyoshi Fernandes,
We are delighted that you have decided to participate in the Kingdom Hall Games; your name is now on our system.
We have copied your signed application and enclosed it with this letter.
We wish you all the best
Yours Sincerely,
Master Kokusai
Erza stared at the letter, frowning with confusion. It wasn't the same letter Ayoko had received, this one had been signed, meaning her son would be part of the Kingdom Hall Games, but she didn't remember ever signing anything. She lifted the paper up and looked at the copied attachment.
I the parent/guardian of Kiyoshi Fernandes give permission for them to participate in the Kingdom Hall Games
Gray Fullbuster
Erza looked up, staring straight at her son. She felt furious, she had known nothing of this and to think Gray was the one to sign it, he had his own daughter, what was he doing giving her children permission to do things. She clenched the paper, not knowing which problem to address first.
"Why is Gray's signature on this paper?"
Kiyoshi remained silent, he looked back down
"Kiyoshi!" Erza yelled
"I –I asked him" he replied
"Why? Why him? His not your guardian, it should be my signature on here, I'm your mother!"
"H-His my family, s-so he is sort of my guardian"
"Not legally!"
"Well I couldn't ask you, you would have never signed it"
"Of course I wouldn't sign it, your my baby, you're not ready for something like this"
"But Ayoko is?"
Erza exhaled, trying to keep calm, but her hands were shaking.
"Kiyoshi she has a really strong kind of magic, your-…"
"I'm what? To weak? You never believe in me, it's always about what Ayoko can do; I just get treated like a baby! I asked Gray because he understands and he thinks I can do it, unlike you" Kiyoshi yelled, tears filling his eyes
"I do, I do believe in you…"
"No you don't! You just said you would never sign it because you don't think I'm ready but you will never think I'll be ready, I don't want to be the baby anymore. I have the right to be a powerful wizard just like Ayoko!"
"Kiyoshi I wasn't saying you can't be-…"
"Yes you were, you're always favouring Ayoko over me. She can do more things than me! It's not fair, I hate my life, I hate this family, and I hate you" he screamed as he raced away, out the back door and into the forest.
Erza stood motionless; she looked down at the letter once more. She bit her lip, tears rushing to her eyes. He had gone to Gray because he didn't think she believed in him.
How could she let her babies go without forever worrying about them? The answer, she would always worry not matter how old they got, they were her babies. She sighed and wiped her eyes; she sat on the sofa and picked up the phone, dialling the Kingdom Hall Games.
"Hello?" a friendly voice answered
"Hello, its Kiyoshi Fernandes mother here, I'd like to talk to you about the signature given on my sons form"
"Oh right, is there a problem?"
"Yes…." Erza paused
"I'd like to change the signature on the application form to Erza Scarlet…"
