Erza sat in the living room on the sofa alone, it was getting rather late and Kiyoshi had not yet returned. Ayoko was upstairs with her dad watching a film. The scarlet haired wizard was lost in her own thoughts, her heart pained that her son would sooner go to someone else rather than her. It was true she feared Kiyoshi being in the games but she equally felt worried for Ayoko.

The back door clicked open, Kiyoshi slowly walked through to the dark living area, seeing his mother sat on the sofa. He slowly approached her; his clothes were covered in wet mud. His blue hair had half torn leaves and small twigs in it. Erza turned around her brown eyes were filled with sorrow, Kiyoshi bit his lip and placed his head down.

"I-I'm sorry for what I said, I don't hate you" he mumbled quietly

"I know you don't sweetheart" Erza smiled and gently pulled her son in to a tight embrace

Kiyoshi tip toed higher, snuggling his head in to his mother's shoulder, her long scarlet hair covered his face. Small tears formed in the wizards light grey eyes as he gripped on to his mother.

"I love you" he whispered

"I love you too" Erza replied and kissed her sons cold cheek

Kiyoshi slowly pulled away and looked at his mum, her arms still half wrapped around him.

"C-Can I go to Kingdom Hall Games?" he asked, his voice quiet

Erza smiled and slowly swept Kiyoshi's blue hair to the side so she could look in to his beautiful grey eyes.

"I don't think there is anything I can do to stop you" she replied softly

Kiyoshi's face lit up, his lips curled into a large smile before he leaped into his mother's chest, wrapping his small arms around her waist.

"Thank you, thank you" he repeated happily

"But Kiyoshi no matter how much you might hate it I will always worry about both you and your sister, I'm your mother nothing will ever stop them thoughts"

"I understand, sorry I was so mean to you, I should have told you about Gray but I was scared you wouldn't give me a chance"

"I'm not mad about that anymore, it hurt that you went behind my back but I understand why you did it but from now on please, please if there is anything troubling you come to me first alright?"

Kiyoshi lifted his head up, his blue hair now stuck to his face.

"I promise mum" he smiled

Erza leant down and lightly pecked his cold nose before smiling. She felt this was a new chapter in her parenthood, it would always be hard to trust and allow her babies to explore the scary wizard world but if she placed just a little more hope in them she knew she could let go just a little bit at a time.

"What happened to you, your covered in dirt and your clothes are soaked" Erza shook her head as she laughed lightly and gently pulled her sons shirt

Kiyoshi looked down at his dirty clothes then back at his mum

"I was training, my magic can sometimes get a little out of hand" he laughed and tried wiping some of the dirt off his grey top

Erza looked at her son, her head titled slightly.

"Your magic? What kind of spell were you using?" she asked curiously

Kiyoshi looked up, his smile wide

"I can't tell you mum, I want to show you when I compete at Kingdom Hall Games" he stuck his tongue out a little bit

"Now that's hardly fair, that's two years away" she teased and poked his side causing him to giggle

"It's not really that long, plus waiting will make it that much more amazing"

"Your home" Jellal smiled as he walked into the living area

Kiyoshi turned and saw his dad; he raced to his father's side and hugged him around the waist. Kiyoshi had grown quite a lot but he was still so much smaller than his dad and sister.

"Your sisters asleep, you should be to" Jellal looked down a more serious look on his face

"I was just going" Kiyoshi smiled and unwrapped his arms from around his dad, he turned to his mum and wished her goodnight before racing off upstairs

Jellal walked over to Erza who stood, her eyes were no longer filled with sorrow. He smiled knowing she had managed to sort things out with Kiyoshi. The scarlet haired beauty stepped a little more forward, resting her head on Jellal's chest; he in return wrapped his strong arms around her and rested his cheek on top of her head.

"It still scares me, there still so young yet they ask for so much freedom, I just hope that allowing them to take part in the Kingdom Hall Games is the right decision" she mumbled softly

"I'm sure they will both do us proud" Jellal squeezed Erza a little, hoping his hug and words would give her a little reassurance.
