The Great Cream Pie Assassinations
It was a swift attack.
McCoy had been walking along the corridor when he was ruthlessly ambushed. A figure seemed to shoot out of the wall and slammed a cream pie into his face before he could react. He stood there in shock for a minute before he wiped the creamy mess from his eyes to see no sign of his assailant. He went to the nearest washroom to clean himself up and met Hendorff there, in response to the other man's shocked look McCoy simply said,
"Don't ask!"
Scotty was the next victim and he was ambushed in Engineering.
He'd been studying one of the consoles trying to locate a minor fault in one of the minor systems. He'd pinpointed the origin of the fault and was hurrying there when a figure suddenly appeared and catapulted their weapon accurately into his face. He quickly wiped the remnants of the cream pie from his face but wasn't quick enough to see who was responsible but he heard the definite sound of a Jefferies Tube cover being slammed shut. Knowing it was pointless to pursue his attacker Scotty opted for hurrying to the nearest place he could clean up, unfortunately he ended up passing pretty much every single one of his engineers to get there.
The next one to be cream pied was Nyota closely followed by Jim which wrote off everyone's number one suspect. Spock was next and Hendorff was a couple of hours later, by this time everyone thought that Pavel and Hikaru were responsible but this theory was undermined when they were both caught by the mystery person at the same time. Nurse Samuels was next and several other nurses were also cream pied in the Medbay within several minutes. By this point everyone was nervous as it had become obvious that it wasn't just the Command Crew who were the targets and people began to travel in groups to avoid being, as they dubbed it, 'creamed'. This went on for a few more days and no-one could work out who the mysterious 'Cream Pie Assassin' was. Jim actually held a meeting about it with the rest of the department heads and several hours of discussion lead to Jim summing up with, "So basically all we know is that whoever is responsible uses the Jefferies Tubes to move about and only uses cream pies but we have no idea who is responsible."
In the Jefferies Tube was Keenser who heard every word, he smirked at Jim's summary before heading off with another cream pie to claim his next victim.
