I'll still be continuing with this even though the Olympics are over, because I still have a lot of ideas I never got the chance to write down, so I'll be doing this until I run out of ideas. Feel free to suggest events to do, some of you already have, although if you please tell me or provide me with a place to watch it on the interwebs, since I probably didn't see it because NBC.

During the Synchronized Swimming Duets the commentators kept going on and on about how Russia has a dynasty dating back to I think Sydney in Synchro Swim and how Spain was really good before Russia got into it and how China was catching up, so this. It's a bit silly.

Enjoy.

"England!" China squealed as soon as England had entered the locker room. She wasted no time in running forward and giving her a quick hug, "Your girls were fantastic! Absolutely brilliant!"

"Uh, thanks," England pat her back awkwardly as she pulled away. "Yours were pretty great too."

"You think so?" China beamed, "Thank you! That means a lot to me. I personally don't think they were very synchronized in some parts, and they seemed to lag a bit when they were under water, and don't get me started on-"

England tuned her out as she went on her dissecting rant. Most of the other nations who were competing were already in here. She noticed America and Australia off in a corner touching up each other's make-up, joking and laughing together. Canada would tentatively join in from time to time, but for the most part she busied herself with combing out her hair. Japan and France were chatting together while changing out of their swimsuits, or rather, France was doing the talking and Japan was nodding along politely. Austria was sitting with Hungary, and South Korea was talking to Switzerland and Ukraine. The room hummed with the chatter of so many other nations, however there were two notable absences.

"-and I really must talk to Liu about her breathing," China concluded, "but I guess they were alright."

Suddenly the door opened and in strode Russia and Spain, still in their swimsuits and swim caps, water dripping off of them, and the whole room fell silent.

Russia and Spain strode into the room and immediately flanked China, forcing England to one side.

"So China," Spain began, "We hear you duet performance won bronze."

"Really?" China clapped her hands together, "That's very exciting! Did the judges say so?"

"Yes the results are in," Russia laid a hand on her shoulder, "I, of course, got gold. Spain secured silver as she is wont to do, and you receive third."

"You've been improving quite a lot," Spain smiled at her, somehow managing both welcoming and icy at the same time, "Would you like to change with us in the Golden Corner of the locker room?"

"You'll let me?" China beamed, "Of course! I would love to!"

England spluttered as Russia wrapped an arm around China's waste, Spain one around her shoulders, and the two nations led her off to the far side of the locker room, where the largest and best corner was, China not even sparing her a parting or a look back.

She jumped when she felt America place a hand on her shoulder.

"Synchronized Swimming royalty," she shrugged, "What are you going to do?
