"She is not your Hermione. Draco, get a hold of yourself." said Lacy
But Draco was not listening to Lacy's words. He was preoccupied with staring at Hermione.
"What's the matter, Draco?" asked Hermione. "I thought you had to run some errands with Anna?"
"Anna is my daughter's human name. She is this Hermione's midwife." Lacy supplied. "Ask her where my daughter is."
Draco knew that the sooner he found Anna the sooner he had to leave Hermione. He didn't want to leave Hermione. "Please let me stay with her…for a little while." He pleaded with Lacy.
"Fine." She only agreed because her daughter was close.
"Anna said she could handle it on her own and sent me back here." Draco told Hermione.
Accepting his explanation, Hermione took Draco's hand and led him inside of a townhouse he vaguely recognized. As they walked, Draco curiously looked at her large belly and wondered who the father was.
"This is an alternative reality." said Lacy. "Here, you and Hermione are married and expecting your first child."
"Married?! She's pregnant with me?"
"Are you having one of your headaches?" asked Hermione. She causally laced their fingers and gently tugged him further into the house. With shaking legs be followed. He still could not comprehend that they were married and having a child together.
"Yes..."
Hermione kissed his lips, surprising him. She pulled back and looked at him in a loving way that he could only dream of. "Come here, I have something to make it all better."
"More kisses?" teased Draco and tensed when she suddenly obliged. He relaxed and they melted into each other's arms. When the kiss broke, Draco was in a daze and didn't argue when Hermione offered him a glass with unknown liquid inside. He drank and instantly felt better.
There was so many things he wanted to ask Hermione, such as how he won her heart or was she affected by the love potion. Was their happiness real? Fortunately, Lacy answered for him.
"In this world, Hermione is a Healer. She took care of your mother when she was ill. She realized that Hermione was the perfect girl for your and gave you to her on a platter. You're madly in love and truly happy."
"Thank you, mother." He didn't mind that his mother had meddled. The important thing was that they were in love without the use of a potion. It made him jealous of the Draco in this world. He wished he could take his place here and stay.
"Your world is where your life is. You can't take his."
"But he is me. Why can't I have his life here?"
"Stop thinking about yourself, Draco. Don't forget you still have to find your Hermione."
When Lacy spoke of his Hermione, Draco felt guilty for even thinking about abandoning her and replacing her with this one. He was being selfish, unfair to his Hermione. She could be trapped in a cold cell with an obsessed madman right now, being tortured.
"I'm sorry." Draco told Lacy.
"Hermione, where is Anna?"

"He's a perverted madman." said Ron.
"We don't know if it's a man or a woman." said Harry. "It's too early to say."
Ron pointed at a passage in the page he was reading. "Look at this! Hermione's been hearing a male voice speaking to her in her sleep."
Harry placed the book he was reading down and read Ron's book.
"Even in the wizarding world, hearing voices isn't a good sign." Harry quoted Hermione. "Why didn't she tell us any of this?"
"She thinks she's imagining it. The things he's saying range from sexual to them living a normal life together-"
"Subliminal messages!" exclaimed Harry before she ran into Hermione's bedroom.
"What are you doing?" asked Ron as he followed him.
Harry went the Hermione's bed and carefully removed the sheets and pillows. "I saw this in a Muggle movie a few years ago. This man secretly placed a tape recorder of his voice under his victims' bed. While they sleep the recorder turns on." he knelt onto the flood and lay his body flat, rolling under the bed. He used a Lumos charm to see in the dark. "I found something!"
Harry crawled back out and murmured a charm that turned the mattress upside down. Both of them knelt and leaned forward. In the spot near the top of the bottom mattress, there was neat outline of a rectangular object that had once been there. Harry used a charm to cut the portion where the outline was to send it to be analyzed.
"So...how's your end going?" Ron asked Harry.
Harry signed. "Hermione noticed that some of her personal items were going missing. She thought she had misplaced them somehow." He told him the items she listed missing.
"Hermione is organized. She would never misplace so many items." said Ron, who became immediately suspicious.
"They were stole." stated Harry without a doubt.
"Sicko probably has a shrine of her in his bedroom with all of her things." Ron said what both of them were thinking.
"Or using them as ingredients. Think about it Ron – all of these things are her favorite that's why she noticed them gone. This person attempted to drug her last year and finally succeeded this year." Harry's voice tightened as he was slowly losing the control over his anger, "He knew everything about her. He was in her flat - bedroom, in her labs -"
"We have to find her fast, Harry! He's got a house waiting for her!" screamed Ron, losing the battle with his emotions. "She was saving herself for him without realizing it!"
They stepped back a moment to gather themselves. The current type of information they had discovered was staggering and they were worried about what else was to come. Both wizards were biting their cheek in an attempt to remain calm. They knew that if they allowed their temper to rule them Hermione would be the one to suffer, but this was far too much for them to absorb.

Evelyn blinked at the sound of the clicking camera. Her future cousin-in-law, Calista, stood beside her hugged Abraxes on her right and sent him to get them some drinks.
"I'm so happy!" exclaimed Calista as she pulled Evelyn aside. She caught herself and lowered her voice. "I mean I never imagined he'd pick me - oh I knew there was a reason why he wanted me here so often. But honestly I almost thought that he'd asked me to marry -" she glanced at the direction of tall blonde man nearby.
"What do you mean?" asked Evelyn.
"Brutus is the oldest. He's suppose to be married first. It doesn't matter, the important thing is I'm engaged to Abraxes!"
Evelyn looked down at the large sparkling diamond ring residing on Calista's finger. There was something about it that made her felt an emotion that she couldn't quite describe. Calista spotted Abraxes walking towards them with three drinks in hand. One of the glasses looked about ready to fall. Calista left Evelyn's side to meet her fiancé halfway and took two glasses off his hands. Evelyn could hear Calista asking him why he didn't have a house elf do it. He turned his head in embarrassment, mumbling something about forgetting that he could. Evelyn smiled at how foolish her cousin always acted around his bride to be. He obviously loved her more than he was willing to admit.
"Are you enjoying yourself?"
Evelyn looked up at her cousin Septimus. His cold eyes and impassive demeanor often made her apprehensive around him. She also had vague dreams of him screaming at her, which intensified her fear of him.
"Y-y-yes..." she stuttered.
"I see your speech has not improved."
His comment, not matter how causal it sounded, upset Evelyn. She didn't appreciated that he was speaking down to her as if she was a small child. She was an adult and would have him acknowledge that fact.
Evelyn cleared her throat. "My speech is fine. I only reacted that way because you startled me."
"Sorry to interrupt. Evelyn may I have this dance?" Brutus didn't wait for a reply, he took her arm, and dragged her off to the dancing area.
Septimus watched as Brutus dragged Evelyn away. He had used a potion and found out weeks ago that she was not his sister. How she had obtained his family ring was still unanswered. He had to know who she really was. She could not tell him because of the strong potion she had in her system. The healers told him the counter potion was hard to brew and he had to wait. Therefore, he kept her in his home with the pretense that she was a distance relative. After the potion was done, he'll finally know the truth.
Evelyn nearly tripped on her one foot, but Brutus caught her, and pulled her to the proper dancing position. She turned her head and saw Calista and Abraxes watching them not too far away, their three glasses resting on a table. No doubt Calista was a graceful dancer, unlike her. She was hanging onto her dance partner's arms as she struggled with her feet to follow his lead.
"Saw a damsel in distress and felt the need rescue her." Brutus said.
"Are you quoting poetry?" Evelyn asked before she realized that she was the damsel in distress he was preferring to.
Brutus laughed, humiliating her. Before the song ended she pulled away from him and marched off. Calista followed her after telling Abraxes to have a word with his brother. Brutus walked to Abraxes' direction and stood in front of his little brother.
"What did you do?" Abraxes asked.
"Did your little bride to be sent you to scold me?" Brutus drawled.
It was true, but Abraxes wasn't about to let him know that. "Of course not. I'm scolding you because you have been relentlessly bullying Evelyn since she has arrived."
"Playing the gallant knight?"
Abraxes had always been shorter than his older brother, but over the summer his height had increased greatly. It gave him a boost of confidence now that he was able to meet him eye to eye. "Must you play the villain?"
"You wound me with your harsh words."
"You wound me with your behavior." Abraxes shot back. "I'm warning you. Leave Evelyn alone." he said before he left in search of Calista.
In the Calista's bedroom in Malfoy Manor, she attempted to comfort Evelyn to no avail. Druella Black knocked on the door and let herself in. Blonde haired with blue eyes, the witch was a vision in her dark purple dress. Having been friends since they were young, even if Druella was older by a few years, Calista hardly minded her.
"I was wondering where you've gone off to." said Druella after she shut the door. She stopped talking when she noticed the state Evelyn was in and asked what happened. "That Brutus is a brute. You are fortunate you got Abraxes. At least he is manageable." said she after they told her of Brutus' past behavior.
"I don't know why he doesn't like me." confessed Evelyn. "Ever since I've came here, he's been nothing but rude."
"Isn't it obvious?" said Druella, "He fancies you."
"What?" Evelyn and Calista said in unison.
"But I warn you, Brutus is a dangerous. I was in the same year as him back in Hogwarts. There was an incident with this Gryffindor he secretly fancied. She didn't return his feelings and he petrified her Kneazle and put it on her bed."
Evelyn gasped.
"I don't believe that. It's impossible." stated Calista. "I admit Brutus is a brute, how could he enter her bedroom? How did he know where the Gryffindor's sleep? And if Gryffindors' bedrooms are anything like Slytherins, how did he know which bed was hers? There are multiple beds lined next together."
Druella's mouth formed an O. The expression on her face told that she had never thought of any of those questions before.
"Honestly, you have more sense than to believe such outrageous rumors." said Calista.
"There is a truth to every rumor. If not, where did it originated?" said Druella.
"From the imaginations of a creative individual with ill intentions." replied Evelyn.
Calista and Druella stared at Evelyn in surprise. This was the first time since they met her that she sounded the most articulated. Evelyn blinked in confusion. She didn't know where that had came from.

Sorry again that it took so long. The alternative world Draco is in is my other story, The Marriage Contract. I am going to do a chapter in that story about Draco's little visit too. It might take a few more chapter, but I'm sure some of you will figure out who is the mastermind behind all of this.
