Kiyoshi stood beside his sister, holding her hand as Chapati began raring up the crowd. Both twins had been to see Yuki who was still in the hospital wing from yesterday. Despite Jellal and Erza's words, Kiyoshi had stayed by Yuki's side until the early hours of the morning. He'd eventually dropped off to sleep in the chair bedside her bed.

The blue haired wizard was exhausted, lack of sleep had made his body and mind tired, he was already unable to concentrate on the next game due to his worrying thoughts about Yuki. He should have sensed something was happening in that room, he was one wall away from her and he never even heard her cries. Ayoko felt her brother's hand shaking, she looked over at him, seeing he was close to tears, she gave his hand a gentle squeeze.

"She'll be alright, I promise" Ayoko gave him a small reassuring smile "Wendy and Chelia are there to help her get better, so is Mira and Lisanna"

Kiyoshi gave a small nod and a weak smile but still he could not shake his guilt. If he had been stronger, if he had stood up to Katio instead of Yuki none of this would have happened, all of this was his fault. All of it.

"We'll get them back, we will" Ayoko brushed her thumb over her brother's knuckles "For everything. For hurting you, for hurting Yuki and for trying to bring down Fairy Tail"

"Welcome back to the Kingdom Hall Games" Chapati started "Today is the final day of the challenges, after today we will be declaring the winner, everyone is all very excited, the scores are extremely close. Katio lost his lead yesterday to Kiyoshi, I wonder if he will be able to gain it back? Or Will Yori or Ayoko catch up from their sixteen point scores and take away his chance to be part of Kingdom Hall Academy?!"

"It's so close! I can barley keep myself seated!" Jason rocked

"Then lets not wait any longer as we begin the final challenge, Love Concurs all" Chapati smiled

"Because its the final game we have decided to double the time, all the wizard will have ten minutes instead of five to successfully complete the challenge" Chapati explained

The audience glanced at one another, the title of the game had puzzled them slightly. It didn't sound like a very challenging game. Katio frowned at the title, he huffed and crossed his arms over his chest. The raven haired wizard didn't feel too confident about this challenge.

"How do you think the wizards will perform today Yajima?" Chapati asked

"I think everyone of them will do their very best as it's the final"

"What about you Jason?" Chapati asked

"It's just so cool...! Even though the wizards are just twelve years old their magical abilities are incredible, its cool cool, cooollllll"

The doors to the rooms began to open, both sets of twins braised themselves as they walked towards their rooms. Kiyoshi took a deep breathe and closed his eyes as he entered, Ayoko watched him before she to disappeared into her room. Yori looked over to his brother but Katio did not look over at him, the raven haired wizard looked slightly nervous as he entered his room.

"The clock will now begin to count down from ten minutes" Chapati informed

The doors to the rooms closed and the clock began ticking away, the large screen in the centre flickered on. Katio's father placed his chin on his balled up hands, he watched his son as he made his way through the darkness.

Katio looked around as the door closed behind him, he couldn't see any monsters, nor could he hear them. All he saw was a light coming from the end of the room. He slowly walked towards it, his arms lowered as he slipped his hands into his trouser pockets. He came to a set of stairs which lead downwards. He frowned, confused as to why the stairs were there.

"Some of you may have already guessed what this final challenge is about, for those who are still a little puzzled the game is about love" Chapati explained "It is important for a wizard to known when to fight and when not to fight, sometimes loving compassion can be the resolve to a problem"

Katio's dad turned away from the screen with a disgusted grunt, he stood up, not wanting to see anymore, he left his seat and the arena grounds. Wolf's only needed to show loyalty to their pack, love had nothing to do with their magic.

Kiyoshi followed the staircase down, his small hand brushed along the stone wall. He could feel his heart racing, his tiny body trembled as he came to the end step, still there was no beasts in sight.

"Hello?" Kiyoshi called out

The room at the bottom of the stairs was a huge water filled cave, in the centre sat a young girl with baby pink hair, dressed in a pure snowy white gown, she was crying. Her small sobs echoed the stone walls. The blue haired wizard looked at her, sympathy and concern filled his heart.

"Hello?" he called to her, his voice soft

The young girl slowly turned to the sound of the young wizards voice, she looked up, her light, baby blue eyes were filled with salty warm tears. Her cheeks a burning red. Kiyoshi stepped forward on to the stone path which lead up to the young girl.

Katio stopped on the last step as he heard the cries of a young child, he peered around the tall walls, seeing the pinkette curled up on a large rock in the centre of the watery cave. The Wolfclaw wizard frowned. Was this some kind of trick? He wondered. Maybe he was suppose to feel sorry for her but actually she was a beast hiding in the form of a human.

"No I don't think that is the case" he mumbled assuringly to himself "She's upset for some reason, am I suppose to stop her from crying? What's the point in that? That doesn't challenge my magic! This is pathetic what kind of game is this!" he hissed

Kiyoshi stepped up onto the rock where the little girl was, he looked at her with a small smile. He greeted the girl once more but she remained silent as more tears escaped her eyes. The bluenette slowly sat down beside her, he reached over and placed his hand on hers, she was cold.

"Why are you crying?" He asked softly

"I suppose I have no other choice but to complete this stupid challenge!" Katio moaned and stepped down from the stairs.

He looked over at the young girl who looked no older than five, he sighed and slowly made his way across the stepping stones, frowning in annoyance as the girl continued to cry.

"Alright! You don't need to keep crying, I'm here!" he snapped as he stood in front of her

The small pinkette remained curled up, sobbing quietly, Katio stared at her, not really knowing what to do, He had never had to comfort anyone before.

In the Wolfclaw guild you are all family, a pack. But the weak who cry are ignored, Katio had been taught to ignore sadness, to only focus on being strong. He himself had not cried since that night, after that night he had never once shed a single tear.

Katio felt his eyes watering, he brought his hand up just as a small tear escaped his eye, he glanced down at the small droplet. He hissed and clenched his fist, why the hell was he thinking about that day? His mother was gone, gone forever, never to return so it didn't matter if he cried because that wouldn't bring her back.

"What kind of test is this?!" he growled "Why are you crying?" he spat at the girl

It was because of her emotions he was feeling this way, he grabbed the girl by the shoulder and pulled her towards him.

"Why are you crying?" he yelled

"It seems Katio is having a hard time with this challenge" Yakima pointed out

"It does seem that way" Chapati agreed "There are only two minutes left on the clock, I wonder if that is enough time for Katio to turn his game around" the judge wondered aloud

"Cool...! Cooollllll, Kiyoshi has used his magic!" Jason cried

The judges heads turned back to the screen, where sure enough little Kiyoshi was using his magic.

"How beautiful" Yajima smiled

The young Fairy Tail wizard was sat beside the girl, his hands parted and flat. He was smiling as his small palms began to glow, the girl watched in amazement.

"There is always light Katie, no matter how dark things become there will always be something in the world to make you want to not give up" he looked at her as a small rainbow travelled from his right palm to his left.

"It's so pretty Kiyoshi" the girl smiled "Thank you" she whispered "Thank you for making me smile again" she rested her head on his shoulder as she watched the glowing colours

"You're welcome" he smiled back and rested his head on hers

"Tell me what's wrong" Katio demanded as he held the girl by the collar of her dress

The child trembled with fear, her sobs grew louder as she struggled against the raven

"S-Stop she begged "Stop"

"Then tell me! Tell me why are you crying like a stupid child?!"

"Y-You" she stuttered

"What?! "

"YOU TOOK MY MUMMY!" She cried "You took my mummy" she sobbed

Katio's eyes widened, he released the girl and stepped back. The child fell to the ground, she curled into a little ball, her heartbreaking sobs echoing the walls. Katio took another step back away from the girl, he shook his head.

"No..." he denied

"Y-You took her from me, you took my mummy"

The crowd watched in confusion, what was the girl going on about? It seemed even the judges were lost for words as they stared up at the large screen, mouths agape.

"He took her mum, what does she mean?" Lucy questioned aloud

Gray shrugged, not really caring about the Wolfclaw wizard, "The time is almost over, he won't be passing this final"

Katio composed himself, though his heart was racing and his breathing hitched.

"T-Took..." he began, his words shaky "W-When, when di-..."

"Last summer, my mummy was really, really sick" the little girl lifted her head and looked at Katio through teary eyes

"She didn't want to go with you, she wanted to stay with me but you ignored her, you ignore my mummy"

Katio's lips parted but no words formed upon his tongue, he began to recall that day. He had gone off into the forest after fighting with his younger brother, Yori. The argument had started off quite childish, both boys had wanted the same dessert but there had only been one. Of course Katio's father had taken the ravens side, this had upset Yori and the pair had begun to fight. After Katio had won, he left his younger sibling in a pile of dirt, he hated how weak Yori was, even when the mage challenged him, he was still unable to use his powers to their full potential. It was pathetic! It was after that event that Katio had found the little girl and her mother near the river side, he recalled how angry he had felt at seeing the two together. It wasn't the child's fault that Katio was so enraged or even the mothers, they were innocent. But still the raven acted without any thought for the two as he slaughtered the women and took her soul for his, to be his mother.

"After she died you took her soul, you kept it" the little girl wiped her eyes "She wasn't yours to have, she's not your mummy she's mine!"

The crowd gasped in horror, this wizard had taken a child's mother. Lucy placed a hand over her mouth, her chocolate brown eyes filling with tears. Natsu reached over and placed his arm over her shoulder and gently pulled her into his chest.

"Such evil" Jellal mumbled

"A truly unforgivable act" Erza commented "It seems Wolfclaw has no bounds" she added

"There seems to be no way out for Katio, how could anyone forgive such an awful act" Chapati commented

"This is rather sad, I to don't see anyway that Katio can come out from this successfully" Yajima added

"Such a heartbreaking story" Jason sobbed "Maybe, maybe this will be the end for Katio"

Katio's brow creased, true the little girls mother was not his own but still she was all he had to a mother. Yes he had taken many souls, ones which were mothers to. But none of them compared to the little girls, she understood him, listened to him.

She was his now, his and no ones else's! Katio clenched his fist, his dark orbs glanced up to the rocky celling. He bit down on the inside of his right cheek, his heart became heavy as he realized what he had to do. He had to give this girl his mothers soul back, Katio felt his eyes mist but he quickly took a breath and lowered his head.

"Fine, you can have her back" he hissed coldly, his voice was filled with sorrow

"W-What?" the little girl questioned, wondering if she had heard the raven haired wizard correctly

"I'll give her back to you!" he screamed and raised his head

His dark orbs were filled with tears but before the image of his sadness could be projected onto the large screen in the stadium, he lifted his hand and blasted a thick, black cloud from his palm.

"Times up!" Chapati cried as the clock buzzed

"D-Did he do it?" Jason stuttered, rising from his seat

The doors to the rooms slowly opened, each wizard slowly made their way out into the sandy stadium. Katio appeared from the misty, dark smoke. His eyes were jet black, his raven locks were swept back, he walked casually with his hands in his pockets. The sorrow which had been so set on his face was gone, as if it had never really been there.

"Katio is out of the room!" Jason jumped into the air, smiling happily

"But did he..." Yajima started to question but stopped as the smoke in Katio's room disappeared and the view inside became visible

There at the far end of the cave stood the little girl, crying with happiness in the arms of her mother.

"H-He did it" Chapati stuttered

"Yes it seems his past sins saved him" Yajima smiled

The crowd cheered loudly, waving their supporting flags in the air. All four wizards stood in the centre of the arena, Kiyoshi and Ayoko stood side by side with each other. Smiling as they held hands, Katio stood apart from his brother. The raven had his clenched fists hidden in his sleeves, his heart was aching, this was no victory to him, it was a defeat. To him he had not achieved anything, he had lost one of his allies and all because, love concurs all!

"Now for the points" Chapati cleared his throat and glanced over at the screen

Katio: 9

Yori: 5

Kiyoshi: 7

Ayoko: 6

"Nine? Why would he be rewarded a nine!" Natsu hissed "It was his fault the little girl was crying!"

"His past acts are nothing but evil" Jellal agreed "But he was given a chance to make things right and he did"

Katio: 30

Yori: 21

Total for Wolfclaw: 51

Kiyoshi: 29

Ayoko: 22

Total for Fairy Tail: 51

"A draw?" Erza glanced away from the screen and over to the judges

"It seems, it seems ladies and gentlemen we have a draw!" Chapati pointed out

"But there has never been a draw in the history of the magic games" Lucy wiped her eyes

"I've never heard of such a thing happening" Jellal added

"A draw! A draw!" Jason placed his hand on the side of his head in disbelieve

The crowd looked at one another, confused. Ayoko glanced over at Kiyoshi, did this mean they had all won and were all going to go to Kingdom Hall...?

"Never before have we seen a draw! This ladies and gentlemen is history in the making" Chapati started "But there is only two places to be had in Kingdom Hall, not four!"

"So how do we choose the two wizards?" Jason asked with wide eyes

"We have a three day match" Chapati replied with a smile

"A three day match?" Jellal's brow creased

"A three day match" Chapati repeated "Because there is two places I think it would be best if the wizards worked in teams, Fairy Tail verses Wolfclaw"

Ayoko glanced over towards Yori, she had never seen the two brothers fight side by side with one another before.

"Each day there will be a different theme so as to allow the four wizards to show their full potential" Chapati explained "At the end of each match, points will be given to each team, they will be judged on their performance, the team with the highest score on the last day will win a place in Kingdom Hall" he finished

"A three day match but Wolfclaw has done nothing but cheat all the way through the games" Natsu spat

"True but maybe this time we'll be able to watch the match without looking at the screens" Lucy spoke up

Natsu crossed his arms and glanced down at Ayoko and Kiyoshi

"But what if something bad happens to them like Yuki" the pinkette mumbled, voicing his concern

Jellal and Erza looked at one another, Erza smiled and shook her head as she stood. She placed her hand upon Natsu's shoulder.

"I have confidence that nothing like that will happen, when Ayoko and Kiyoshi fight together they are much stronger than when they fight alone, It has always been that way, ever since they were little" she assured the pinkett with a smile

"Wolfclaw should be the ones worrying" Jellal glanced over towards the ancient guild "Unlike Ayoko and Kiyoshi, Katio and Yori don't seem as close as they should be"

Lucy looked down at the two Wolfclaw boys, who were walking meters apart from one another "I wonder why...?"
