Draco found himself in the same bedroom but with slight differences. He wondered if the spell had worked. Carrying Hermione in his arms, he flicked his wand at the door to open it.

"Draco?" said Narcissa. She was in the hall when she saw them. She ran to hug him.

"We're home, Hermione!" said Draco.

He shook her lightly to wake her but she didn't respond.

"What's wrong with her?" asked Narcissa.

"You two must be exhausted from the journey." said Lucius as he came to him. He patted Draco's shoulder. "Let's lay Miss. Granger down. We can go sit and talk."

"I can't...I don't want to leave her alone." insisted Draco.

"We can stay in the room with her." Lucius motioned them into the bedroom and Draco gently placed her on the bed. "We should use the Floo to contact Potter and Weasley."

While Narcissa and Draco were busy getting the Floo powder, Lucius went to Hermione. He took a vial from his pocket. With his gloved hand, he covered her nose and pressed opened her mouth, pouring the contents of the vial. When he was done he wiped her mouth and joined the others.

When they were able to get a hold of Harry and Ron, the two entered the room through the hearth one at a time.

"Hermione!" shouted Harry and Ron. They went to the bed and lightly shook her.

Hermione stirred in her sleep, rolling to her side and lightly snored. It didn't mattered if she was awake or not they were happy to see that she was all right.

"We should summon a healer to examine her." suggest Narcissa.

"I will do that right away. Come Draco." said Lucius.

Draco took one last look at Hermione and reluctantly went with his father. Lucius brought him into the study and poured him a glass of Firewhiskey.

"Drink. It'll calm you."

Draco took the glass and downed it in one gulp. Lucius took the glass from him and put it away.

"We need to have a look at the family tree. I was told the person obsessed with Hermione is a relative of ours. I should've asked her for his name. It's going to be difficult with our inbreeding - half of the Wizarding world is kin to us."

"We will do that once Miss. Granger is ready."

Lucius Flooed a healer, who came instantly, and they returned to the others. The healer's examination proved that Hermione was in perfect health. There was not a drop of the love potion left in her to everyone's relief.

"Are there any injuries?" Draco asked the healer. "And please give her a through examination. Her whole body."

"She is perfectly fine. No injuries." confirmed the healer.

"Are you certain?"

"Yes, Mr. Malfoy, I am."

Draco was relieved by this. Hermione was in good health but that didn't prove that she was not pregnant.

"Do you remember anything about your abduction?" Harry asked Draco.

"We were separated. I was taken in by a woman. She was searching for her daughter and offered me the location of Hermione's whereabouts if I helped her."

"Who is this woman? Where is she?" asked Ron.

"I don't know. We found her daughter. She took me to Her- Granger and helped us return home."

"Was that all?"

"No. She told me the person who kidnapped Her-Granger is related to me. I was too excited to find Her-Granger that I forgot to ask who it was. Oh! Wait - I think I saw him - well! His feet - no his boots! I was hiding under the bed and saw his boots. They were large. Black. A man's. And...and Hermione was sent back in time to nineteen thirty-one!" Draco told them all that he knew.

Harry and Ron memorized what he was saying.

"The important thing is you two are home safe but the kidnapper is still at large." said Harry. "Their return has to stay a secret for now until we capture him."

"You two need to hid until we find him." said Ron. "We'll have something arranged as soon as possible." he left to inform the Ministry about their plan.

"I believe it's best that you two are separated." Lucius chimed in.

"Separated?" said Draco.

"Until he is free from its influence they should keep your distance."

What his father was saying made sense but Draco was not about to agree.

"No, I am partial to blame for her condition. I think we should stay together."

"You're not involved in this Draco. He doesn't want you. He wants Miss. Granger." said Narcissa.

"I can't abandon Hermione!" declared Draco.

Narcissa hugged Draco. "Stay home with us, darling. Let the Aurors handle it."

"No, we have to stay together!"

"See how the love potion is making him delirious." Lucius pointed at his son. "It is affecting his senses. His judgment is impaired. If he goes with you it might do more harm than good."

"Your parents are right Draco. I don't think it's a good idea for you to be around Hermione when you're like this." reasoned Harry. "Please for Hermione's sake."

Draco turned to look at Hermione. "Fine."

Lucius went to Harry and patted his shoulder. "Draco is safe with us."

Harry caught Lucius' meaning but didn't react. Ron returned. Together, he and Harry took Hermione from the manor. After they were gone, Draco fell on his knees in despair. Narcissa went to comfort him and walked him to his bedroom.

Lucius went to speak to a portrait of his father in privet.

"He is suffering from withdrawal. Give it a few days and he'll be fine. Soon he'll forget about the love he has for her."

"And what of Miss. Granger? What is he going to do now that she is back?"

"He'll come back for her. That's a definite. He's schemed. Worked to hard to leave it be lie this."

"If he plans on harming her, you know I have to put a stop to this."

"Evelyn was my friend -Muggle or not- I will do anything in my power to protect her."

Lucius was obligated to repay the debt he owned but he didn't want Hermione Granger's blood on his hands. He had had enough of that when he was a Death Eater. He had secretly gave Harry the address of Narcissa's parents old manor in the hopes of them finding a clue about the connection between Evenlyn March and Hermione Granger. That way he would not be betraying the man who had helped him and Narcissa.

After Harry and Ron succeeded in hiding Hermione they went to the Ministry to discuss what they have discovered so far. They had given up on waking her because he appears she was bewitched to sleep.

"Do you think he's a Death Eater?" Ron suddenly asked Harry. "In her journals, the voice spoke about her scar. You know...the one Bellatrix Lestrange gave her."

Harry stopped to think it through. Very few people knew about Hermione's scar. It was something no one mentioned because it traumatized her so much. "There is a possibility." He scratched his shoulder and felt something underneath his robes. He reached under his collar and pulled it out. It was a folder piece of parchment. Written on it was an address and the words Attic.

"What's that?"

"A message from Lucius Malfoy. I thought it was something when he patted my shoulder and said Draco was safe."

Without hesitating, the two wizards managed to find more information about the address. It was a manor that had once belonged to the Black family. The manor had since been given to a woman name Holly Ellis about thirty years ago.

When they knocked on the door they were greeted by a beautiful young woman in Muggle clothing. In her arms was a sleeping child in cartoon pajamas with bright red hair. She had her face buried on the crook of the woman's neck.

"I'm glad you made it, please come in." she opened the door wider and gestured them inside.

Harry and Ron exchanged a look before taking her offer. They followed her into a sitting room that was design for warmth and comfort. Refreshments were laid out on the table untouched. There were a stack of ancient chest set to the side.

The registry didn't state if she was a Muggle or witch. Harry and Ron had to make up an excuse to search the house without alerting her or they would have to use unnecessary magic.

"Were you expecting someone?" asked Ron.

"Yes, you two. Have some. They aren't poisoned."

Harry and Ron had noticed the food on the table was all of the thing they liked but didn't touch them.

"Sorry for frightening you. I'm Lacy. Draco helped me find my daughter." she said, kissing the child's head. "I'm very grateful for his help so I decided to tell you everything you need to know."

Lucius was at a lost. Harry and Ron had returned to Malfoy Manor with Hermione. They explained that the manor was the safest place for her since no one would ever think she would be there. They believe Lucius was more than capable of protecting her and would not be sending an Auror to guard her. Instead, they would take turns visiting her every few hours. Curious as to what they are planning Lucius allowed it. Maybe they knew something he didn't? Or were they using her as bait to lure her admire out? Either way, Lucius had strategically placed Hermione in a room in the far end of the manor where Draco rarely goes. If her admire was coming to retrieve her than this was his opportunity.

After leaving Hermione, Ron and Harry went to Harry's house. Ron and Harry once again looked over the items in the chests Lacy had given them. They were evidence, proof that everything she had told them was true. It was hard to believe but it was the truth and they had to allow it to happen.
