Chapter 3

"I really hate you Prime" Magnus whispers. The trailer bounces one side to the other. Magnus keeps moving around along with the others.

"How long will it take to make it to the city?" ask Bulkhead.

Magnus takes a while to answer. He rubs his head.

"Why is this truck moving so much?" ask Wheeljack.

"Maybe in four hours…" said Magnus

"What…?" ask Wheeljack.

"Oh I was answering Bulkhead" said Magnus

"Is there a short cute to the city?" ask Smokescream

"The roads are very bumpy because of the rain…so the truck is going to move" said Magnus

"What…?" says Smokescream

"Oh I was answering Wheeljack question" said Magnus

"What do you do?" ask Strongarm

"There is a short cut to the city…" said Magnus "We just take a right turn…"

"What..?" ask Strongarm

"I was answering Smokescream question"

Magnus looks at Strongarm.

"I deliver packages to the city. The train drops it off and we take it to the city" said Magnus. "Why is he in trouble?"

"Oh this punk…won't ever stop speeding…so we are taking him to court to get his license suspended" said Strongarm

Magnus nods in agreement. "Of course…"

"How about you boulder?" ask Magnus as he looks at Bulkhead.

"We are heading towards the city to compete…in power lifting" said Bulkhead.

"Yes…we are going for state" said Wheeljack

"That's nice Jackie…" said Magnus.

"It's Wheeljack…" he growls "Or you can call me Jack"

"Okay then Jackie…"

Ultra Magnus relaxes but goes with the movement of the truck. He growls.

"I'm going to kill you Prime…" Magnus closes his eyes and falls asleep. The others did the same.

Arcee yawns as she looks out the window. It is getting late. Prime looks at the clock it is midnight. He stretches a little. Bee is sleeping in the backseat. Arcee moves a little to get in a good sleeping position. She groans as she rubs her neck.

"If you want you lay your head on my shoulder" said Prime.

"Are you sure" she asks as she blushes a little.

"Yes…I don't mind"

Arcee gets closer to Prime. She gently lays her head on his shoulders. Optimus smiles wide. A few minutes pass and she is deep asleep. Prime blinks his eyes trying to stay awake. He shakes his head; trying to take the sleep away.

He tries not to move so he won't wake up Arcee. He starts looking out the road. It is dark; you can barely see anything; all you can see is the lights of the truck.

Prime decides to put some music. He dances with the rhythm to keep him awake. It did work but for a little while. Some time has passed.

Prime moves his shoulders. He gasps as he remembers Arcee is sleeping on his shoulder. She moans as she slowly wakes up.

"You okay Optimus?" she asks.

"I'm okay…I just needed to stretch" said Optimus "I'm sorry I woke you"

"Oh don't worry…I did sleep well"

Prime smiles and he looks at the road. Arcee looks at the road with him. She notices something white. Prime narrows his eyes to see what is up ahead.

"Do you see that Prime…?" she ask.

"It's like it's floating around" said Prime. He keeps driving forward. As he gets closer he sees a skeleton figure in front. "Oh my…"

Arcee gasps as she sees it getting closer. The skeleton starts getting closer. It made an evil laugh.

Prime yells out along with Arcee. Optimus slams the breaks as he is inches away from the skeleton figure. The truck stops instantly. Prime keeps on yelling as the skeleton is floating in front of them.

Arcee hugs Prime for dear life. She is screaming in fear. Bee wakes up by the scream and the sudden stop.

"What is going on?" he says. He looks out the front. He gasps as he sees the skeletal figure in front of him. "Oh my…!" Bee starts yelling in fear. "What is that!?"

Optimus blinks a little. Arcee hides her face in Prime's neck. Optimus honks the horn. The skeleton figure disappears.

Prime sighs in relief; he does not believe what he saw. He just saw a skeleton figure. He wonders how it got here or how it appears from out of nowhere. Prime knows about the legend of this road but he never believed in them.

He looks to Arcee. He gently rubs her arms.

"It's okay…" whispers Prime.

Arcee looks up slowly "Is it gone?" she whispers.

Prime nods but can't speak. He swallows "Yes…it's gone"

Arcee looks at Prime. She notices that she is hugging him. She backs away blushing.

"Arcee…" whispers Bee.

She looks back to see Bee. She hugs him tight.

"It's gone Bee…" she says "Don't worry…"

"What was that?" ask Bee

"I don't know kid" said Prime "But it did look pretty scary"

"Where it if come from?" ask Arcee

"I don't know…" said Prime "I think we are imagining things…"

"I don't think so because that thing looks so realistic" she said.

"I saw it with my own eyes" said Bee.

Prime looks at the both of them. "Well…it's gone now let's keep going"

The people in the back gasp and yells as the truck suddenly stops. Bulkhead hits the back of his head. Wheeljack falls off his seat.

Smokescream falls one side while Strongarm hits the back of her head. Sideswipe falls on top of Smokescream.

Magnus falls to the side and hits his head. Magnus yells and gets up rubbing his head. Magnus mumbles "Oh Prime…you better have a good reason why you stopped"

Magnus goes back to his seat. He looks around at everyone.

"Is everyone okay?" he asks.

"Yes we are good" said Bulk

"What happen?" ask Wheeljack.

"I don't know Jackie" said Magnus

"Why did we stop all of a sudden?" ask Strongarm

"I don't know" said Magnus "Prime never stops this instantly"

Magnus stands up and walks to the doors. He looks at the others.

"I'll go check…" said Magnus.

"I wouldn't get off the trailer if I were you" said Sideswipe with a smile.

"I know what I'm doing kid" said Magnus as he opens one door. He jumps off landing on his feet. The commander looks on the side of the trailer. Magnus hops that Prime didn't hit something in front of him.

Magnus doesn't see anything. He walks to the other side; nothing at all. He stands behind the trailer. He scratches his head still wondering why Prime stopped.

The engine gets louder. Magnus walks further behind the trailer hoping Prime didn't run over something. He looks down the road.

"Prime…you have some explaining" said Magnus.

The engine starts going. Magnus turns around suddenly and he sees the trailer starting to drive.

"OH SCRAP!" yells Magnus "WAIT PRIME!"

He runs after the trailer. Bulkhead and Wheeljack hold out a hand to reach but Magnus ends up tripping. The trailer goes on.

"WAIT PRIME!"

Optimus hears it but he thought it is all in his mind. He decides to keep going. Arcee also hears it but I might be a trick again.

"Did you hear that?" ask Arcee

"Yes…but I think it's in our minds…" said Prime "Because we are still a little shaken up"

Arcee nods in agreement. Optimus doesn't go to fast. He concentrates on the road ahead of them.
