Chapter 4

"PRIME!" yells Magnus. He stops chasing the trailer. He rest on the side of the road. He is trying to catch his breath "Never…follow a trailer…"

He breathes in and out. He is slowly getting his breathe.

"I'm going to kill you Prime…" said Magnus. "I think he will come back to get me"

Magnus sits down next to a tree. Magnus looks up to the stars. He feels like someone is watching him. Magnus decides to put on some music.

He flips through his phone. He tries to call Prime but no signal. He yells out in anger. Magnus gets a flashlight and looks around.

He blinks a little as he sees a ghost like figure swaying in front of him.

Prime keeps hearing some pounding noises. Arcee looks to the back.

"What is going on?" she asks.

"I don't know…maybe the people in the back want something" said Prime.

Prime stops the truck. He turns it off.

"You guys want to stretch your legs" said Prime. Arcee nods.

Optimus gets off and walks to the passenger side. He opens the door and holds out his hands. He helps Arcee get down gently. Prime looks at Bee.

"Need help kid" ask Prime.

"No…"

Bee jumps and lands perfectly on the ground. Optimus nods in awe.

"Let's check what the guys want" said Prime "I think Magnus wants to stretch"

Optimus and the other two walk to the back of the trailer. He notices that one of the doors is open. He walks up and opens the other door. He sees them pounding the sides of the trailer.

"What is going on?" ask Prime. He searches the back and doesn't see Magnus. He stares confuse at them "Where is Magnus?"

"You left him…" said Wheeljack

"Wait what?" says Prime.

"Yes…he went out to check if everything is okay and you just drove off" said Bulk

"So…that's why ya'll were pounding the wall" said Arcee.

"Yes…we wanted you to stop so Magnus can get on" said Bulk

Prime slams his head to the trailer. He growls in anger. He did hear someone calling for his help but he thought he was just imagining stuff.

Arcee places a hand on Prime's shoulders. "We have to go back to get him"

"No…we can't we have to get to the city" said Wheeljack.

"We still have time…" said Optimus "I'm going back to get my brother"

"Fine…" said Wheeljack.

"Hey if you don't like the idea you can get off and walk" said Prime.

Wheeljack growls in anger. He nods in understanding. Prime closes the doors he looks at Arcee. She is stretching her arms.

"Beautiful" he whispers.

"What was that?" ask Bee.

"Oh um…nothing" said Prime.

"Um look…stay away from my sister" said Bee. He starts walking to the front. Arcee follows after him along with Prime.

Bee jumps up first and goes to the back. Prime lends out a hand to help Arcee help. He carries her up gently to get her on. Optimus closes the door. He runs to the other side. He starts the engine.

He sets the truck in reverse and starts driving. He can't make a u-turn here. He can probably get stuck in the mud. Prime keeps it steady. Arcee watches him with awe. She moves closer to him.

Prime looks at her and smiles. He keeps heading back until he heard a thumping sound.

"This is place after we saw the skeletal figure…" said Prime. He stops the truck and turns it off. He jumps out. He runs to the other side and helps Arcee down. Bee tries to jump but he misses a step.

Prime catches him.

"You okay?" he asks.

"I'm fine"

Arcee is already walking to the back. Optimus walks after her along with Bee. Prime opens the door.

"Okay…you guys want to help me search for him" said Prime "I think right here is where he might be"

All of them nod. All want to get off and stretch their legs. Prime helps them down. Everyone is off by now. All start stretching their legs; shoulders and arms.

"Okay…we can start there" said Prime as he points towards the woods.

"No way!" yells Wheeljack "How about there?"

"Or there" said Smokescream.

"Okay…let's split up" said Prime "Arcee and Bee you are with me…Wheeljack and Bulkhead go over there…you three go that way"

"Can you set me free Smokescream?" ask Sideswipe

"I think its best" said Prime.

"Okay…but if you try to run I will shoot you" said Strongarm

They uncuffed Sideswipe. He smirks and stretches his arms.

"Okay let's split up…" said Prime.

Prime walks down the side of the street. Arcee follows after him along with Bumblebee. The others go the other way. Prime hopes he can find Magnus. This road is getting really spooking.

Bee gasps as he hears noises. He turns to the where the trees are at. Bee swallows hoping it was nothing. Optimus hears the noise and it gets louder.

Arcee holds on to Prime's arms tight. Prime shines the flashlight towards where the noise is coming from. The noise gets closer.

"Oh my…" whispers Prime.

A bright light appears from behind the tree. Prime stares blankly at the light. A ghost is in front them; swaying back and forth; making its way to them.

"Gho…Ghost!" says Prime. Arcee yells in horror.

OHHHHHH!

The ghost yells. Prime picks up a stick; aims it towards the ghost. The ghost laughs harder now. The bright ghost is now inches away from them.

Prime swings his stick; trying to strike it. The stick goes through him; not hurting him a bit. Optimus does a nervous laugh and smiles.

"Sorry…" he says with a nervous smile.

The ghost rolls its eyes and yells.

"Run!" yells Prime. Optimus holds Arcee's hand and Arcee holds Bee. Prime leads them far away from the ghost. He hopes he doesn't go far; he still has to get back to his truck.

Prime stops and hides behind a tree. He hopes it didn't follow him. Arcee goes behind him. Bee stays in front of him.

"I think we lost him" said Prime.

"It was a ghost…" said Bee "A ghost!"

"I know…" said Prime. He rubs his head wondering how this is possible. He takes a step and bumps into a branch. "Ouch…"

"Do we keep searching for Magnus?" ask Arcee

"Yes…we have to go back"

"Wait…but the ghost might still be there" said Bee.

"I don't think so…"

Optimus grabs a big branch he can protect them with.

"Let's looks for Magnus" said Prime "Let's look for him over there and then we can come back"

Arcee nods along with Bee. All walk slowly; searching around them. Prime is getting a little worried. It is late at night and he can't find his brother.

There is a howling sound. Optimus jumps by the howl. Arcee yelps in fear.

"Oh…it's just a wolf" said Optimus.

He is still a little shaken up by the ghost and skeleton thing. Arcee sighs in relief. They all suddenly stop; all pause when they heard footsteps. Prime swallows hard.

"Magnus…" said Optimus "You there…?"

There is no answer but the footsteps get louder. Prime raises his branch; he is getting ready to strike when the steps get closer. A tree behind them falls. All of them jump and yells out in fear. Optimus turns around; nothing is there. The footsteps stop hearing.

"What…is going on?" ask Bee.

"Bumblebee…I don't know" said Arcee.

Optimus looks around "Okay…I think it's clear"

"Okay…"

Optimus keeps walking straight with the two behind him. Arcee won't let go of his shirt. Bee holds Arcee's hand. He shines the flashlight to one side and sees one person walking. He stops and eyes widen.

"You guys stay here…" said Prime.

"Wait…no…don't leave us"

"Don't worry. I won't go far" said Optimus. Arcee nods and lets him go. Optimus hides behind a tree. He is waiting till the person walks to him.

He waits for the right moment to strike. He listens to the footsteps really close. Arcee grabs Bee and they go hide behind a tree. She is wondering what Prime is doing. She does see a shadow like figure walking to him. She hopes Prime can get the figure down.

Prime sees it in front of him. He swings and branch and hits it on the head.

"OUCH!" yells the man. He stumbles forwards then back. He does a turn and falls down to the ground groaning in pain.

Optimus shines the light to him. He gasps as his eyes widen. He looks around hoping no one saw that.

"Bulkhead…you okay?" ask Wheeljack

"No…I just got hit by something" said Bulk

Optimus goes to the other side of the tree. He runs to Arcee.

"It's okay…it's one of the groups…" said Optimus.

"Did you hit one of the guys?" ask Arcee

"Maybe…"

Optimus walks to them with Arcee and Bee by his side. He sees Bulkhead sitting up rubbing his head. Wheeljack is helping him up a little.

"What…happen Bulk?" ask Wheeljack

"Someone…hit me with a branch I think…" said Bulk

"It was… "said Arcee but Prime stops her.

"Something might have fallen on you" said Optimus.

"You're right but it hurts so much as if someone did swing something at me" said Bulk

"Well…the branches are heavy when they fall" said Optimus with a shrug. He feels bad now; he just hit Bulkhead but he has to play it cool.

"Look over there" said Bee

"What is it…?" said Arcee

"It looks like something is coming towards us" said Bee.

Prime gets his branch. "You guys get a weapon…Arcee, Bee go hide behind that tree"

Optimus, Bulkhead, Wheeljack stand in fighting position. They swallow; hoping it's not a ghost.
