Chapter 5

Optimus is starting to shake now. The footsteps are getting closer. He turns off the flashlight; hoping the figure can't see them. Optimus runs to hide behind one tree. Wheeljack goes to the other side to a tree. Bulkhead stays where he is at.

The shadow figure suddenly stops. The person runs to the tree Prime is hiding behind. It is hiding on the other side. It reaches for branch closes to him. He picks it up. Prime steps out to look for the figure. The person swings the branch hitting Prime right in the head.

"AAHHH!" yells Prime in pain. He falls to the ground hurting. The figure hides behind the tree. He then notices the yell from Prime. The shadow gasps and steps out. Bulkhead goes behind it and hits the person.

"AAHH" yells the person as he falls. Bulkhead smirks and cheers "I got him!" He then felt something hit his head. He falls down hurting.

Wheeljack cheers "I got him"

Arcee comes out and turns on the flashlight. She shines it to Wheeljack. She then moves the light down and see Bulkhead hurting.

"Ooops" said Wheeljack. She sees a leg beside Bulkhead.

"Magnus…" she says. Magnus is smiling from the pain; he doesn't respond. Arcee keeps going to the right and sees Optimus on the ground. He is rubbing his head. "Optimus…"

She runs to him and helps him up. Prime moans in pain as he rubs the back of his head. He can still feel the hit he got. He looks to his side to see Magnus.

"Magnus…"

"Optimus!" said Magnus with a smile. "Oh sorry I hit you…I thought you were something else"

"Don't worry" said Prime.

"And who hurt me?" ask Magnus as he rubs his head.

"Sorry…" said Bulk. "And who hurt me?"

"Sorry Bulk" said Wheeljack.

Arcee helps Prime stand up fully. She keeps him from falling. Magnus stumbles but manages to get his balance. Wheeljack helps Bulk up.

"Whelp…we found you Magnus we can head back" said Prime.

"And you left me!" said Magnus

"I'm sorry…I didn't know you got off"

"I was yelling your name!"

"I couldn't hears you well enough"

Magnus lets out a growl. He crosses his arms.

"Okay forget it…I'm here now let's get out of this scary road" said Magnus.

"Shh guys…I hear something" said Bulk.

"Everyone hide…" whispers Optimus.

Three shadows are slowly approaching them. Prime gets the branch and is ready to hit the shadow. He holds it tight. Arcee turns off the light.

Optimus slowly walks to the figure. The figure does the same. Prime swings along with the figure. They hit each other with the same blow of the swing. Prime falls to one side hurting and the figure falls the other side.

"Wait…it's just Strongarm" said Bulkhead.

"And Sideswipe" said Magus.

"Where's Smokescream?" ask Strongarm.

"Over here…" said Bee.

Arcee sighs as she walks to Prime. She helps him up and gives air to him.

"Prime you okay?"

"Did…I get him" ask Optimus.

"Umm…Sure…" she said with a laugh.

Strongarm helps Smokescream up.

"Did I get the ghost…?"

"Ummm no but you got Optimus" Arcee answers.

Optimus gets up with the help of Arcee. Bee pushes them apart. Prime stumbles but stays still.

"Hey…ya'll found Magnus" said Strongarm

"Yes…we did" said Bulk.

They all hear a thunder crack. A bolt of lightning appears in the sky.

"We have to get to shelter…" said Prime

"Well…let's get back to the truck…" said Magnus.

"Of course…"

All start heading towards the truck. Some of the guys get scare by every single thing they hear; especially Magnus. Prime tries to ignore the black shadow; along with ghost staring at them. Prime sees the truck.

"Okay…everyone lets go ahead…and"

The truck engine starts. Prime feels his pockets and he has the keys with him. He takes them out; he is confused now.

"How did the truck start when you have the keys?" ask Sideswipe.

"Umm I don't know…"

The truck starts driving off on its own.

"Oh no" yells Prime "STOP!"

All of them chase down the truck. The truck doesn't stop at all.

"Hey come back!" yells Magnus "Give me back my truck you ghost!"

As they are chasing the truck a ghost figure appear in front of them. All stop in their tracks and yells out in fear.

"OH no!" yells Prime.

They all turn around and run to the forest. Everyone hides behind a tree. The ghost disappears; it is gone now.

"Oh man…someone took our truck" said Magnus

"What now…it's about to rain we can't stay here forever" said Wheeljack

"We have to look for shelter" said Prime. Optimus starts walking down the road. He hopes he can find a shelter. It is about to rain; they can still hear the thunder and see the lightning bolt. The rest are following him.

"Who will take my truck and how did they take my truck without the keys" said Prime.

"Can you hot wire the truck…?" said Wheeljack

"Yes…but it takes a while to get it right…"

Optimus stumbles a little. He stops as he sees a big mansion ahead of him. He smiles in relief.

"Guys…over there" said Prime.

Everyone looks to where Prime pointed at.

"It's a house…" said Optimus

"More like a mansion" said Sideswipe

"We can probably go there for shelter" said Optimus.

"So does that mean we can't head to the city?" ask Bulk

"Without a vehicle we can't go anywhere and we can't go walking" said Optimus.

"So we have to cancel our plans" ask Wheeljack

"Yes…I'm afraid so"

Optimus starts walking to the mansion.

"Um Magnus come with me…let's check if the mansion is open"

"I don't want to go" said Magnus

"You are coming with me…now come on!" yells Prime.

"Okay…"

"I'll go with you" said Arcee.

"Okay the rest of you stay back" said Optimus "We will signal you"

It gets bigger as they get closer to the mansion. Optimus swallows; he hopes its not haunted like the road is.

He stands in front of the front door. Magnus is behind him and Arcee is by his side. Optimus knocks.

"Who is it!" yells Magnus

"I'm Optimus…" he stops as he glares at Magnus. He starts laughing at Prime.

"You thought they answered….it was me" laughs Magnus.

"Shut up…and focus"

Prime knocks again; an echo is heard but nothing. Prime turns the knob of the door and slowly opens it. He looks inside.

"Hello…" says Optimus "Anyone here?"

Optimus goes fully in. Arcee follows after him. Magnus steps in and shuts the door making a big slam sound. Magnus gets scare by the noise and jumps. Arcee gasps and jumps on Prime. Optimus looks at Magnus with a glare.

"It's just the door" said Prime. "Magnus tell the others they can come now"

Magnus looks at the door saying "No…"

"No…are you afraid…?" ask Prime with a smirk.

"Me afraid…haha" Magnus laughs "Me afraid…."

Optimus rolls his eyes and crosses his arms.

"Me afraid…" Magnus then goes to scared face "Yes…I'm afraid"

Optimus sigh in anger and goes to tell the others everything is okay. All nod; went to the mansion. Prime closes the door.

"Okay no one is here…" said Prime.

"You're right…" said Bulk.

"We must stay here for the night" said Optimus "Go upstairs and find some rooms where you can stay at"

All nod in agreement. The guys go upstairs and Optimus stays at the bottom floor. He rubs his head.

"You okay?" ask Arcee

"Umm Yes…"

"You don't seem like it"

"I just…"

"You can tell me"

"I feel bad…I mean I offer and ride and now you guys can't get to the city"

"It's not your fault"

"If I would have taken the longer way we wouldn't be in this mess" said Prime.

"Optimus…I don't blame you" said Arcee "I mean no one ever thought a ghost will come out or your truck gets stolen.

"Yeah…"

"It's not your fault…things like this happen…" she smiles "Well not like the ghost part…but the truck getting stolen"

Optimus smiles a little.

"I just hope it gets better tomorrow" said Optimus "I hope no one gets mad at me…"

"They won't…they will understand"

Optimus smiles now.

"Well…go on up and find a room to sleep in" said Optimus

"Optimus…I'm scared"

"I know…we all are"

"Can you…umm…stay in a room with us?"

"Of course Arcee" Optimus holds her hand. "Let's get some rest"
