Chapter 9

Optimus walks to where he tripped. He picks up the extinction cord and follows it. The leads him up but he can't reach so he follows the cord with his eyes.

He looks closely and he sees a camera. His eyes widen; he unplugged the camera and the ghost disappears.

"Magnus…" said Prime "Look over here"

Magnus looks to where Prime is looking. He notices the camera as well.

"Are you saying the ghost was form with the camera"

"Yes…I think the camera uses lighting effects like some type of projector" said Prime.

"So they aren't real?"

"Yes…"

"But how did the ghost throw things at us?"

"I don't know"

Prime goes to the couch and sits down. He thinks a little; wondering if there is more camera or projector out there. The others haven't appeared yet.

"I hope the others are okay" said Arcee.

"They are…" said Prime. "For right now let's wait here"

Arcee sits next to him. Bee sits on the other side of him. He looks around hoping they can find another clue. He doesn't see anything.

Magnus walks to a picture on the wall. He stares at it for a long while. He doesn't know who the man is but he looks so real.

"Nice picture…" said Magnus. He looks the other.

"Thank you…" said the man.

Magnus turns to the picture and sees a hand. He shakes it saying "You're welcome" Magnus eyes widen as he looks at the picture. The man laughs as Magnus blinks in fear. The guy in the picture just shook his hand.

"AHH" Magnus runs and jumps on Optimus. Prime holds in his lap.

"Magnus…what happen?" said Prime.

"The…The picture…the picture real"

Optimus gets up carrying Magnus bridal style. Optimus stands in front of the picture.

"You sure?" ask Prime.

Optimus places Magnus down. He reaches up for the painting and touches it. It is just a solid picture frame.

"Magnus…I think you need some rest" said Optimus.

"No…the man in the picture shook my hand"

"Okay…"

Optimus walks back to where he was and sits. Magnus stares at the picture for a long while. He looks at his hand; wondering what the hell happened.

Optimus looks at Arcee. He notices a bruise on her temple.

"Ouch…" he whispers

"Oh when the ghost covered me with the blanket I hit the wall"

Optimus gently strokes her temple. "You okay…?"

"I'm fine…" she smiles. Optimus goes down to her cheek and strokes it with his thumb. Arcee locks eyes with him. Optimus smiles and leans in closer to her.

"AAAHHH!" they hear. Optimus growls as he looks back. Bulkhead and Wheeljack are running. Optimus stands up wondering why they are running.

He sees someone chasing them. This time it's not a ghost. It is a monster. He gasps in horror. He hides down on the couch. Magnus sees the monster.

Optimus runs to Magnus and says "Hide…"

"Wait…maybe this monster isn't real" said Magnus.

Optimus tries to pull him to hide but Magnus pulls his arm away.

"I think the monster is fake just like the ghost…"

"Magnus…"

Bulk and Jack run by Magnus. The monster stops in front of Magnus. He stands tall; with his head up high.

"You are not real monster…Be gone!" says Magnus.

The monster smirks and punches Magnus right in the chin. Magnus starts loosing balance and falls down hurting. The monster looks up and sees Optimus slowly backing away.

"Arcee…Bee…hide" he whispers "I will distract the monster"

"Wait…no" said Arcee.

"Come on Arcee let's go"

Bee drags Arcee with him. They run upstairs and hid in their room.

Optimus starts running away from the monster. He goes through one hallway. He sees many doors on the hallway.

"Man…how many rooms this castle has…" said Optimus.

The monster gets closer and Optimus goes in through one door. The monster opens it and looks inside. Optimus opens one door and sees the monster in front of him. He looks back inside with confusion. It's like he teleported from one room to the other.

He runs to the monster and kicks it inside the room. He closes the door and sighs in relief. The monster opens one door and sees Prime down the hallway. Optimus goes to one door.

The monster goes back inside the room.

Optimus runs out along with the monster. Optimus tries to stop as he sees the monster going towards him with full charge. They both smash into each other. They lay there trying hurting with a big smile.

Optimus gets up rubbing his head. He looks down to see a hat on the floor. The monster gets up rubbing his head as well.

"Um…Can you give me that hat…?" says the monster

"Oh sure…" Optimus gives it to him. The monster puts it on and stretches. He then starts laughing and starts leaning towards Optimus. The prime gets up and runs for it.

Optimus opens one door and runs through it only to be stop by a hit. He stumbles back rubbing his head. He looks to the open room; there is nothing but bricks blocking the door. Optimus closes the door.

"Those damn bricks…" whispers Optimus. He runs to the other side opens it and crashes again. He sees the same bricks in front of him stacked up. "Oh come on!"

The monster runs to him. Optimus opens the door hitting the monster with the door. He runs around it and runs upstairs. The monster growls in pain as it rub its head. The monster enters one room and disappears.

Optimus finds his room. He opens the door and goes in inside. He turns around.

"AAAHH ouch!" yells Prime in pain.

"Oh I'm so sorry Optimus…" said Arcee as she drops the umbrella; she just poked Prime with the umbrella on the stomach. "I thought you were the monster"

"No…It's okay" groans Optimus.

"Here let me help" Arcee helps Prime up and helps him to the bed. "What happen?"

"There are trap doors around this place…so be careful where you go" said Prime.

"Okay…" said Arcee "You have a bruise on your forehead"

"Yes…I crashed to a stack of bricks…"

Arcee laughs a little. "How…?"

"The doors…some doors are traps" said Prime. Arcee grabs a cold towel and runs it around Prime's temple carefully. He smiles as the pain soothes.

Bee comes up and sits next to him. Bee starts laughing as he sees the bruise.

"Who would run into a stack of bricks…?" he laughs out loud.

Prime sighs in anger and gives a glare. He then smiles and says "I just…didn't see it…"

"Bee…don't make fun of him" said Arcee.

"Sorry" Bee says "Where did the monster go?"

"I don't know…I hit him with the door and I ran away"

Bee laughs.

"After that I never saw him" said Prime.

Arcee puts away the cold wet towel. She sits next to him. Optimus lays down groaning in pain.

"Did I hurt you that bad?" she says with worry.

"No…"

"I'm sorry…I feel really bad about poking you hard with the umbrella"

"Don't worry…it only hurts a little" said Prime.

She smiles and hugs him tight. Prime hugs her back.

"Don't worry Arcee…you were scared I understand why you went on and poke me" Optimus laughs.

"Well…you did scare me" she says.

"Sorry…"

Optimus slowly leans to her and kisses her. She captures his lips and kisses him back. Prime leans back. Arcee blushes as she looks down. Bee smiles wide.

"Sorry…" whispers Prime. Arcee shakes her head and kisses him. She kisses him with passion. Prime returns the kiss.

She leans back with a smile. She hugs Prime close to her. A sudden noise was heard out in the hallway.

"Stay here…" said Prime as he slowly walks to the door. He opens it only to reveal three monsters walking down the hallway. One monster is wearing a marching band type uniform. The other is wearing a football uniform. The third one is wearing casual clothes.

Optimus closes the door shut. "We can't go out there…at all"

"Why…?" ask Arcee.

"Monsters…"

The door starts getting pounded on. Optimus stumbles back and looks around.

"To the closet…"

The three of them run to the closet and hides in there. Bee sees a light switch and turns it on. The light didn't go on but the bottom floor opens up.

"AHH!" yells Prime.

"Yikes!" yells Arcee.

"AAH!" yells Bee.

All three fall through the floor. Optimus lands first and starts sliding down. Arcee falls next the starts sliding down with him. Bee falls and starts sliding after them.

Optimus does some twist and turns. He sees a tunnel. He yells as he gets closer. He gets on by the top and he falls back with pain.

"AAH…that hurt" he keeps sliding down through the tunnel. Arcee sees the tunnel and ducks right before she goes. Bee ducks as well.

Optimus shakes his head and does a sharp turn. He tries to get balance to he can slide with ease; he sits up. He turns with the slide. He sees three slides before him. At the end there is a tunnel. He goes for the left one. He ducks and goes through it.

Arcee goes to the middle. She crashes to the wall. The tunnel was a fake. She growls in pain and walks up the slide. She goes to the left one and starts sliding.

"Bee…go left" she yells.

Bee sees the three in front of him. He follows Arcee.

Arcee goes through and she gasps. The slide is ending so she slows down. She fully stops and stands up. She looks up to see a body figure on the wall. It looks like Optimus. She laughs as she sees him flat against the wall.

"Prime…you okay?" she asks.

"Yes…I didn't slow down fast enough…" said Prime.

"WHOOO…watch out" yells Bee.

Arcee tries to stop him but couldn't reach him. He keeps sliding and hits the wall. The same way Optimus did. Bee groans as he stumbles back. Optimus pulls himself off and falls to his knees. He looks around.

"Where…are we?" ask Optimus.
