Chapter 16

The beast goes after Magnus. He is running as fast as he can. The beast crawls around the room and stops in front of Magnus. Ultra Magnus stops dead in his tracks; looking into the eyes of the beast. He swallows hard.

"Where is the diamond?!"

"I…"

The beast grabs Magnus and turns him upside down. Magnus yelps as he sees the world upside down. He then felt himself being shaken. He sees the world going up and down; side to side. He can is getting dizzy from so much movement.

"You don't have it don't you"

"Umm…no I do not" said Magnus with a nervous smile. The beast roars at him with anger.

"Hey Beast…over here" yells Prime. Arcee told him that he has to chase her. Prime goes back to where the beast is; to get his attention. Before he did that he wraps a bandana around his hand; making sure it doesn't break even more. He looks at the beast to get his attention. He did just that. "Over here…I have your diamond"

The beast drops Magnus; without even caring. Magnus falls hard on his head. He groans in pain as he rubs his head.

"That hurt" growls Magnus.

"Where is my diamond…?"

The beast is mad now; he is going to do anything to get it back. Optimus shrugs his shoulders.

"I know where it is…" Optimus starts running. The beast roars as he runs after him. This time when he catches that Prime he is going to lock him up for good. Optimus runs to where Arcee is waiting. Arcee looks at Prime. "He is on his way"

Arcee waits till Prime gets to her; they both start running. Arcee leads Prime to where they need to go. The beast dodges a few things here and there. He jumps over things. He tries to throw some stuff; hoping he can trip Prime or Arcee. He is getting real tire now. He can barely breathe.

He roars again; going a little faster this time. Arcee opens the door to the room. Optimus runs in after her. She stands in the middle of the floor. Optimus goes to the side. He waits until the beast goes into the room. Optimus ties the rope to a pole on one end. He runs to the other side; he is ready to pull the rope; so he can at least trip the beast. Bee gets up ready to pull the lever. Arcee stays still. They all hear the stomps of the big beast. It is getting louder and louder. He is getting close. Arcee runs to the far back; to where the net ends. She holds out the diamond; hoping the monster will charge to it.

The beast crashes through the door. The beast stands still looking straight at Arcee. She is holding the diamond up high. She swallows. Bee gets his hands on the lever waiting for her signal. The beast charges; Prime pulls the rope making the beast stumble. Arcee waits a little more. The beast is in the middle of the floor; he gets his balance.

"NOW!" she yells.

Bee pulls the lever. There is a snap sound. The net drops down fast all the way down to the floor. The beast hears the sound he looks up.

"OH NO!"

The net comes crumbling down around the beast. He growls as he falls down to his knees. He yelps and tries to escape from the heavy net. The beast stays on its knees and gives up.

"OH great!"

Arcee cheers with joy. Optimus smirks and yelps.

"We got him" said Optimus

The beast growls and looks around to escape but there is no way. He sighs in defeat knowing he is done.

Arcee walks closer to the beast. She smiles and crosses her arms. Optimus walks up next to her. Bee stands next to them. He is wondering what they are going to do. Bee wants them to remove the mask to see who it is. They both look at each other. Optimus nods his head.

Arcee goes up to the beast and removes its mask. Their eyes widen as they see a man.

"Who…are you?" asks Prime.

"My name is Megatron" he said "This is my mansion"

"Oh…" says Arcee

"Why did you attack us?" ask Optimus

"Well…Because this is my home" he said "I don't want anyone to find my treasure"

"But …why?"

"I want it to be a secret" said Megatron "I want this place to be a secret"

"Why…?" said Prime "It will take time to find this. We just got lucky"

"Can you help me off…so I can explain better?"

"Sure" said Prime

He lends out a hand for Megatron. He takes it and gets up with help of Prime. Megatron dust himself off and looks at the three. He sighs as he rubs his head. Megatron looks around think about how he is going to tell them. He growls as he breathes in and out. Optimus crosses his arms saying that they are waiting.

"This is suppose to be a haunted mansion" said Megatron

"I can tell" said Prime.

"Okay...it's suppose to be a fun haunted mansion. People walk in they have to go through all these spooky things. And there mission is to fins the treasure"

"Oh so...this is sort like a carnaval game?" Ask Bee.

"Yes" says Megatron "a fun place. I want yout to go because I don't want you to ruin the surprise"

"We won't do that" said Arcee. "All we wanted is shelter"

"So you were controlling all this. Like the rain" said Optimus

"Yes. I control all of it. I also stole your truck. I though you guys might run back where ya'll came"

Optimus rubs his head. He sighs as he looks around.

"Look I didn't want to hurt anybody. I just want this place to be a secret so it can open on Halloween."

Optimus nods his head in understanding. Arcee looks at Megatron.

"I'm sorry Megatron" she says " We shouldn't have come here"

"Don't worry. I know you guys needed shelter" said Megatron. Optimus looks down thinking if what to do. They then hear sirens from the police. Megatron growls with anger. He rubs his head wishing they didn't come. Optimus notices and thinks of something.

"I think we can help you" said Optimus.

Sorry it took a long time. My laptop broke so I'm writing on the tablet.
