Ross's POV

"*yawn*, holy shit it got late really fast" I said, staring up into the night sky. Me and Lucy waved goodbye to Juvia and Gajeel and began walking away from the guild.

"Those two seem rather nice, especially that Juvia girl" I said rubbing my head.

"Yeah" said Lucy nervously, "Ordinarily she does that to Gray. She must've mistaken you for him"

"Exactly how is that possible. Based on the image of Gray I saw inside your head, we don't look anything alike." I said

"She didn't mistake you for Gray because of your looks, she did because your magic is similar to his. He uses Ice Make magic"

"Human, you never told me that there was an ice wizard in this guild. You should've asked him to team up with you!" screamed Bellaruse

"AH, what the shit Bellaruse? Why is that so fucking important?"

"Is she bothering you again?" asked Lucy

"Argh, yeah. She's wondering why we didn't ask your ice friend to join us" I said, then Lucy reached into my ear and started to shout.

"If you must know SNOW LIZARD, he's already got his own team. Plus, he and I used to be on the same team, and look where that lead. No offense Ross" she said.

"None taken, i've been hit with worse" I said, then Lucy resumed screaming into my ear.

"Lastly, he wasn't even at the guild today, so pardon me and your host here didn't ask him to join our team!" That last word was said with a loud high pitch, nearly pierced my eardrum.

"Ok Lucy, one thing. If you're gonna yell at Bellaruse, next time let me know, there's a way for me to have you just yell at her" I said picking at my ear.

"Heh heh, sorry about that Ross, heat of the moment." That last statement had a hint of anger, and little bit of sadness. I shouldn't be shocked, getting told that you're dead weight, that generally creates a lot of hate, I just wish she would save some of that hate for Team Natsu instead of taking her anger out on me.

"Wow she's got fire in her heart. And for the record, I just wanted to know because I wanted to see if he was even stronger than you. That, and you could've learned some of magic" Snow Dragon stuck inside of my head say what now?

"And exactly how is that possible without the lack of training?"

"*sighs* Human do you not listen to anything I say?"

"Not entirely. Most of it is criticism at the time" I said.

"*sighs* did you not remember the training I put you through in order to copy other Snow and Ice wizards' magic?"

"Uhh no?" I said

"No what? what is she talking about?"

"She says I could mimic your friend Grays' magic, but I don't remember-Ohhhh wait a minute" Now I remember, that was actually one of the first things I learned with Bellaruse, she taught me how to use Mimicry magic, but not from herself, that was one of the spells she helped me translate from her tome, "Hey Lucy, guess what I get to teach you on our way to the volcano." When she heard that, sparkles lit up in her eyes.

"Alright, here we are." Holy crap, with all that "inside thinking going on" I hadn't realized that we were still walking.

"Nice place you got here Lucy. No wonder you can't pay your rent." I said, that earned me a slap to the face.

"How dare you? I believe" she said flipping her hair as she struck a pose, showing off her cleavage in the process, "That a woman with this much beauty certainly deserves a home like this" I kinda spaced out. I was more focused on her girls about ready to pop out of her top, and my nose may have started to bleed a little bit from my nose.

"Uhh yeah, sorry I didn't know what I was saying" I said trying to stop myself from passing out.

"Well Mr. Snowman, you should be, because that little comment you made earned you a night without a bed. You'll be sleeping outside tonight." she said.

"Ok, goodnight" I said turning and facing the opposite direction from Lucy.

"Wait what?" she said in a shocked tone, "Where are you going?"

"I don't have a problem sleeping outside Lucy. It's rather peaceful sleeping outside, being around all the forces of nature. It would be better if it was colder, helps release the mind from the stress of everyday life." Lucy looked rather curious.

"Wow, you make living like a homeless person sound rather…..enjoyable." she said.

"Hey if you're a wizard it makes it even better. A good way to improve your magic is to strengthen your mind. It's common knowledge that a strong Wizard requires a strong mind. If a wizards' mind weak and fragile, their magic will overwhelm them and ultimately kill them." I said. Before I knew it, tears began to swell in her eyes

"Oh ut us true, my mind is weak, that's what they meant" she cried.

"Wait who's they? You mean your old team?" I asked, she nodded in response.

"Yeah, and they were right, I am weak, i'm surprised I haven't been killed at this point."

"Oh come on Lucy your mind isn't weak, I would know, I was inside of it."

"But Natsu said-"

"Forget what Natsu said. What Natsu, or Gray, or what that Redhead chick said-"

"Erza" she said

"Whatever, or what Erza said, that isn't true. You should not let what they said dictate how you view yourself. Your magic relies on you summoning spirits to help aid you in combat, yes, but that does not mean you are weak."

"But what can I-"

"Oh for godsakes, could you please shut her up. Right now her voice sounds like she's been gargling with rusty metal"said Bellaruse

"You're not helping Bellaruse" I thought, then I summoned my Snow Dragon Wings, "That's it, You're coming with me, hang on!" I said. I grabbed Lucy by the arm and we took off into the night sky. Lucy of course was screaming the whole time as I scoured the land below us for a certain spot in which to show her something. Hopefully if some of the Tome's pages managed to survive the fire, maybe I could teach her something better than just a mere Mimicry spell. What I've read in this book is marvelous. Not only does it contain the knowledge of a SNow Dragon, but according to Bellaruse, it holds the knowledge of other types of Dragon Slayer magic. I guess some of the other dragons wanted to preserve their knowledge. After a few minutes, I spotted the forest and dove straight towards it.

Lucy's POV

I don't know what Ross was trying to accomplish by kidnapping me. Was he trying to kill me? Was she just trying to scare me? Or maybe both? All I know is I was screaming at the top of my lungs as Ross zipped his way through the sky, then dove straight down to the surface of the Earth. WHatever he was planning, it had better be worth the near death experience.

"Here we are. This place should be perfect" said Ross. As soon as his feet touched the ground, I let go of him and started to kiss the ground. Although I wish I had realized that I was kissing bare dirt, that would've been nice to know. I started to spaz all over the place, trying to rub the dirt off and out of my mouth, which for Ross was the go sign to hit me upside the head with a snowball.

"You can use that to wash the dirt out." he said, "Seriously, if you keep yelling like that, you're going to wake the dead." he said. As I washed my mouth with the snowball he gave me, I had noticed that Ross had dragged me all the way out to the middle of the woods. What could be so important that he had to bring me out here?

"WHat are we out here ROss?" I asked.

"I prefer not to read this in a place where there's the possibility that someone is going to come barging in and seeing it."

"Seeing what?" I asked. Ross reached into his coat and pulled out a book, which had appeared to be slightly burnt. This must've been what he was trying to save from the fire back on .

"We're going to attempt to stop a volcano, just the four of us: You, Me , Gajeel, and Juvia. I promised you that I was going to teach you magic to help you get stronger, and that's just what i'm going to, right now. Please sit" he said as he knelt down to the ground, so I complied. Ross started flipping through the book, looking a little annoyed as he passed burnt page after burnt page.

"So uhhh, what's inside the book?" I asked.

"It's SUPPOSED to be a collection of spells and ancient knowledge that Bellaruse put together before she died. It contain different types of magic given to her by the humans who lived during that time in exchange for teaching them Dragon Slayer magic. I managed to pick up a couple of spells here and there, nothing really major. I'd prefer to just stick with Snow Dragon Slayer magic." he said, "So for now, let's just work on you. Until then, try to meditate and focus your mind." Ross resumed flipping through the damaged pages as I prepared to start meditating. I tried to clear my mind, but it was very difficult to do so with the sound of angry page flipping. And right when I was about to enter a state of meditation, when: "YES! I FOUND IT!" *Sigh* why do I even try?

"What, what, what did you find?" I asked with curiosity, and a little bit of excitement.

"I finally found a section of the book, an entire section, that's completely damage free." he said, but he also had a look of confusion, "...and it's for…...Dragon Slayer magic, of course. Bellaruse isn't there anything else in her besides Dragon Slayer magic" Oh that's why. Then I started to get confused when he started arguing with his dragon, sometimes not with words, so there were parts missing from the argument

"...Okay maybe I read it wrong, but it's was still slightly damaged"

" Well excuse me for being for not knowing that it looked damaged."

"Of course I remembered it, that was the first thing I read."

"HEY HEY HEY. What the hell does it say in the book?" I finally asked

"Oh right sorry Lucy. ANyway, I read it wrong, according to Bellaruse, it is a type of slayer magic, but it's one I never thought could be learned the same way a Second Generation Dragon Slayer learns his magic."

"Wait, you mean as in, a Lacrima? You're gonna use a Lacrima on me?" I asked, "How are we going to do that? WHere are we even going to even find a Lacrima like that?"

"We don't, we're going to make one." Make a,a….

"Ok what the hell type of Slayer magic is it.

"Galaxy God Slayer Magic."

Writer's Notes- Sorry this took so long, i've been rather busy with my shit, and with working on my other fanfics. Yeah, so hopefully this chapter doesn't seem underdone. If it does, i'll edit it out and try to make it better.

Bellaruse-If that were actually possible human

Lucy- Bellaruse why do you have to be so condescending?

Bellaruse-Because you humans rely to much on the kindness of others, it makes you weak.

Ross-Well maybe to you Bellaruse, but we're human. You got a problem with that, get out of my head.

Bellaruse- No i'm fine

Lucy- Good, now Ross, finish your statement

Ross- Thanks Lucy. Anyway, if you have any ideas on how to progress the story from this point, PM me, don't worry I won't bite, unless you're made of snow, then I will eat you. So until next time, BYE BYE :)
