Juvia's POV, The Next Morning

"WHOA! What the hell happened here?" yelled Gajeel. Juvia was also surprised to see that the streets were littered with people cleaning up shards of glass that were scattered all over the streets. As we passed through town, on our way to meet Lucy and her new partner Ross, me and Gajeel noticed that every single window on every building had been broken. Not only that but each broken window had the same type of fracture pattern, it's almost as if each window was broken at the exact time.

"No way these windows were broken by normal means, this is the work of a mage." said Gajeel.

"Juvia believes that this might have been the work of dark." I said.

"Juvia, if this were the work of a dark guild, why would they only smash the windows and leave the townspeople alone?" Gajeel asked. Hmm, he had a good point, that does sound like something a dark guild would do, "*sigh* why don't we just ask someone what happened?"

"...Juvia believes that would be a good idea." I gave Gajeel a big smile, to which he found to be extremely annoying, and approached the person closest to us. "Excuse me sir, what exactly happened here?" I asked.

"WHAT?!"He yelled, making Juvia yelp with fear. He looked rather annoyed,turning away from me and Gajeel for a second to yell at his employees, "C'mon men put your backs into it, I want these windows repaired by the end of this day!" then he turned back to us, "Well spit it out, What do you want?" I was too scared to ask him anything, so I hid behind Gajeel. "What's her problem?"

"Sorry about, she's about as easy to scare as a cat is entranced by fish. Anyway, we wanted to know what the hell happened here? Why is there glass all over the street?"

"Wait….. do you not know?" asked the old man.

"No that's why we're asking. Well, why i'm asking because…" said Gajeel pointing to me.

"How the hell do you two not know, it happened late last night."

Flashback

The entire town was quiet, not a single person could be seen on the streets, it seemed like an ordinary night. Then out of nowhere, the sound of thunder boomed in the sky. It was so strong, that it sent a shockwave screaming through the streets of Magnolia, waking many of us from our sleep. Children awoke from their sleep crying as the boom rang in their sensitive ears. The shockwave was so powerful that somehow it had managed to simultaneously shatter every single window all over town. People started flooding into the streets(yes with shoes, i'm not that evil), but they didn't get too far, because there was a strong presence of magic filling the air.

Juvia-I'm surprised that neither me or Gajeel were awakened from this.

Old Man-DON'T INTERRUPT ME!

Juvia-*yelps, sinks further behind Gajeel, clawing into his arm

Gajeel- *in pain* please don't scare her again.

Old Man- As long as she doesn't interrupt me again. Now where was I….Oh yeah

Unable to withstand the enormous amount of magical pressure, everyone quickly fell to their knees, unable to move when suddenly, there was the sound of a church bell ringing in the sky, and along with it, a pillar of light shooting through the clouds. Although barely visible, a figure could be seen emerging from the pillar of light, a very LARGE figure.

"Wh-wh-what is that thing?"

"Oh my god that thing is enormous."

"Mommy, i'm scared."

People were whispering to each other, trying to deduce what the the figure was and whether or not if it was of evil intentions.

Juvia- *whispering* Church bells? That doesn't sound evil. That actually sounds like…

Suddenly the figure was engulfed in light again, and in a blinding flash of light, it was gone, as were the clouds that darkened the sky.

(End Of Flashback)

"Some of the townsfolk surveyed the area in which the figure spawned over and found something interesting." said the Old Man

"What… did they find" I said timidly, the old man scares me.

"They found a gigantic crater in the middle of the woods, almost the same size as your guild."

"Damn, that's a big ass crater. What kind of person would be stupid enough to cause something." I think I might know.

"Gajeel, we need to go, we're already running late as it is." I said to him as I pull him away from the old man and started running as fast as we could.. As soon as we were out of earshot, we returned to our normal speed.

"Juvia what the hell, I wanted to find out if they knew anything else about that crater."

"You didn't need to ask him, I think I may know who may have created that crater."

"How could you possibly know that?" he asked.

"HE said that he heard church bells ringing. Who's the one wizard we know who's magic creates the sounds of church bells?" I asked. Just give him a second folks

*Fourth wall breaks* Writer's Notes-*facepalm* goddamnit Juvia, now you're breaking the fourth wall?

Bellaruse-Finally, this one's not yelling at me for breaking this fourth wall.

Ross-Bellaruse, you broke it three times at this point, shut up! Juvia, can you please try not to break the fourth wall again.

Juvia-*hides behind beam* y-yeah of course.

Ross- *sighs* Oh great.

Meanwhile back at the plot

"Wait a minute, you don't think Lucy could've done something like that, do you?" he asked.

"Well, Lucy's magic closely resembles what that old guy says, so Juvia does believe that it could have been her." I said nervously.

"But there's no way she could summon something as big as the guild. I know that she's been trying any means to get stronger, but to cause something like that. That's just crazy, almost as crazy as her new partner." Ohhh, Juvia knew better though. In fact, Lucy said it herself.

FlashBack

Juvia remembers it because she was watching Gray pick a job for his team, while Juvia admired him from the shadows. However, once the rest of the team had begun to gather, Juvia had noticed that Lucy wasn't there. THere was Natsu, Happy, Erza, My beloved Gray, and in place of Lucy was Lisanna. Juvia was curious as to why Lucy wasn't with her team, so she decided to go looking for her. Juvia checked the pool, the second floor, the game room, the main hall, the cafe outside, but couldn't find any trace of her. I asked the other members of the guild where she was, but they all gave me the same answer

"Sorry, but I haven't seen Lucy in awhile. Are you sure she's not off on a mission" Now Juvia was beginning to worry. No one else wanted to know where Lucy was, not even the least bit curious. SHe could be dead for all the guild knows, and no one cared, not even her own team. LOoks like it was up to Juvia to find her. I left the guild and went straight to her apartment. But when I knocked on her door, nobody answered. Juvia waited a few minutes before knocking again, but again, no one answered. Then Juvia heard something open. Juvia went around to the side of the building and noticed that one of Lucy's windows was open.

"This is my chance" I said to myself. I climbed out the side of the wall, passing some of the other residents of her building, smiling and saying "Hi". FInally I managed to make it to her window. I glanced inside and saw it was the bathroom, then I quickly tried to climb in. However, I lost my balance, tripped, and fell head first into the bathtub. Fearing that I may break my neck, Juvia turned herself into water as soon as she hit the water already in the bath, and with a splash, Juvia was one with the water.

"What was that?!" Suddenly, Lucy, dressed in only a towel came barging into the bathroom. Well she wasn't really barging in since it's her own home, and technically I wasn't supposed to be here so…, "*sighs* I must've been hearing things again" she said with fatigue. Lucy dropped the towel onto the floor, exposing her bare naked body, and approached the b- uh-oh. Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god, she's gonna, she's gonna-she gonna- OH MY GOD SHE DID. Lucy completely was completely submerged herself within Juvia. LUCY WAS INSIDE OF JUVIA!

(HUh, would you look at that, a sex joke. I never thought I could come up with one of those.)

However Juvia's thoughts of perversion quickly subsided when Juvia heard Lucy silently sobbing to herself. Lucy had a couple of her tears running down the side of her face, her eyes were all puffy and red, and she had a horrible look of sadness that JUvia knew all too well. THen Lucy said:

"How could they kick me off of the team? How could they stand there and say that i'm not strong enough to handle a fight on my own." What, no, no, no there's no way that her own teammates would say such horrible things. Lucy tried to convince herself that she wasn't weak, but that only seemed to make her even more depressed,now it felt like Juvia was about to cry.

"You know what" she said climbing out of the water(and Juvia) and picked up her towel, "No more pity. Who needs those jerks anyway. If they wanna call me weak, they better have the facts to back it up. I'll show them. Besides there's plenty of other members of the guild who would like to have me as a partner, and they sure as hell wouldn't call me weak." she wiped her face, and where that look of despair once was was now replaced with a look of renewed confidence. That's the spirit Lucy

"And even if I am" Oh please don't go back to being moppy Lucy, "Then I'll do whatever it takes to get stronger. Then the next time I see those Jerks, I'll beat them down so hard, I'll put them in their graves" OK a little dark but still, it was great to see Lucy happy again.

"YAY LUCY" I yelled as I emerged from the bathtub and tackling Lucy, or at least I thought I did. But as it turns out, I was still part of the water, so instead of a gentle tackle, Lucy got hit in the face by a tidal wave of water controlled by Juvia. Lucy screamed as the water carried her out of the bathroom, through her living room and out the front door into the aqueduct. Once the water had stopped flowing, Lucy carried herself back out of the aqueduct, luckily with her towel still on her person, and passed out onto the curb.

"...Uhhh, Lucy?" I asked her, she just stared at me and asked, 'Why Juvia, WHY?!" I felt bad so I carried her back inside. She is surprisingly heavy."

ENd Of FlashBack

"Luckily she wasn't injured" I said to Gajeel, who looked upon me with a look of utter astonishment, "What? Juvia said she wasn't Injured."

"Juvia, the only thing I took from that is that I should check my bath water from now on to make sure that you're not inside of it." he said.

"What about when Lucy said she'll do whatever it takes to get stronger?" I asked.

"I got that, but that still isn't solid ground to go on and say that she cause whatever happened last night." Oh come on, that totally makes sense. *sigh* oh well. We kept on walking for a few more minutes before reaching Lucy's apartment, and there they were, Lucy and her partner Ross, standing outside of the building, when something caught Juvia's eye. They were both carrying a strange looking bag that had something glowing inside of it. They stared at it with shock and awe, their eyes glued to the contents of the bag.

"Lucy, Ross over here" I called out, grabbing Lucy's attention

"Juvia, Gajeel, you guys came" she said with a smile, running over to us along, closing the bag with Ross running towards us.

"See Lucy I told you they were gonna come." said Ross with a smug grin on his face

"Hey, I never said they weren't coming, I just said that they were running late."

"*scoffs* yeah right" For that, Lucy punched Ross in the arm.

"Well, we're all here, so now what?" asked Gajeel.

"I'll tell you what it means" Lucy place her hand flat right across from us, "it's the beginning of a new friendship between the four of us, well maybe for him" she said pointing to Ross, "But seriously. From this point forward, we're a team, and guys i'll be honest I was about ready to leave the guild." Everyone looked rather shocked, except for Ross, he looked rather upset.

"Leave the guild, why?" I asked.

"Well because, I thought that I didn't have any close allies left willing to go on missions with me. But then you guys came to me and offered to work with. Then this one came along"

"Ok seriously I have a name." said a slightly annoyed Ross, I couldn't help but giggle a little bit. He's actually kinda cute.

"*chuckles* I'm sorry i'm just in a really good mood right now. I'm just happy to find myself joking with my friends again" Ross looked at her, then she looked at me, then I looked at Gajeel, then we all looked at each other.

"So, does that have something to do with you sticking your hand out?" asked Gajeel.

"Yes, I want us to make a promise." she said.

"Is it a blood pact? Is that why you've got your hand out? You're not gonna make cut our hands and have us swap blood are you?" asked Ross in a panicked tone, I was worried about what was going through his head at the time.

"Umm no, I would like to seal this new team with a bond. Put your hands in, all three of you." she said, then me, Ross and Gajeel placed our hands in with Lucy's, "As from this moment, we are a team. And no matter what may happen, no matter how bad any situation we face may look, we stay a team. I want you guys to promise me that we'll always look out for each. Say it" she said.

"We promise to look out for each other, to stick together against the most impossible of odds," we said in unison, but then Ross said:

"And above all, we treat each other with the respect they deserve." JUvia smiled. We may not have known him for too long, but I could already tell that he was going to be a good friend.

"Thanks ROss. Now on the count if three, we'll all shout out TEAM LUCY. Think you guys can handle that?" We all noded in agreement, "Ok then, on three. One…..two…..THREE"

"WE ARE TEAM LUCY!" We called out in Unison, throwing our arms up into the sky, as if we were reaching for the sun, slowly rising into the sky.

"Well guys, our first mission awaits. You as ready as I am?" asked Ross, which Gajeel responded with a "HELL YES", and with Juvia hugging her teammate Lucy saying 'That's right'.

"Well what are we waiting for? LET'S DO THIS!" With that, we were off!

Writer's NOtes- *sniffs* I loved writing this chapter so much that I nearly started to cry.

Lucy-Well well, a Snow Dragon Slayer with a warm heart, Ironic isn't it.

Juvia- Juvia believes it's sweet to see that Lucy's found a team to call her own.

Gajeel- Hey she wouldn't be here if it weren't for him, so don't single him out.
