Standing there blankly I saw Vicki just shake her head slowly. She was obviously not very impressed, and just like me she could see exactly what he was trying to do. Attempting to ignore the event I gazed over to Colress for confirmation of our next move. In his eyes was a confused glaze as if he wasn't at all certain of his next move, it must have been rather odd for him to see of all people. However instead of speaking up for it he smirked in that malicious way.
Sighing loudly I pushed myself off the ground and began to head back to the campsite hoping to get some alone time. Instead of going about their business the rest of them gathered their things and followed by close to me like sheep. Vicki trotted close next to my side, she eyed Ghetsis with malice just to keep him at a safe distance. It was clear to the group that there had been a rift between them, and with the two most stubborn people I ever knew. Things were not going to go well, I could see the entire war going on in my head.
Through the long green grass and great high trees we traveled by foot at a leisurely pace to enjoy the scenery. The sun shone down so perfectly through the leaves, it displayed a brilliant glow splattered across the leaves and ground. We piled down a slope and easily recognized the campground as it appeared, it was calming to see at this moment. Sprinting to the middle I jumped up over the pit and spun onto a log, sitting ever so perfectly I wondered how I managed not to trip or mess up like I always did.
"That was excellent, I have a better understand of our scenery now. I'm rather excited!" Colress broke the silence dropping his things near his neatly pitched tent.
Giovanni glared at him coldly but talked to him like a child, "Yes, good job Colress!"
Vicki made her way over to me with haste and sat delicately next to me on the log. Scooting a tiny bit over I watched her fiery stare pierce straight into mine. She moved in closer to me as if to talk quietly, but her body language was one of fury. One could only assume that there was someone she was extremely upset with, and for my own sake I hoped it wasn't me.
Opening her mouth she leaned her arm into mine, "What the heck was Ghetsis doing?"
I giggled quietly at her pure hatred for him, "I have no idea, but he knows so..."
"Oh great, see you could have just not said anything and we wouldn't have this problem!" She whispered in a yelling sort of tone.
I pointed at her promptly, "Well maybe he wouldn't have heard if you weren't talking so loud last night!"
"It's not my fault that he's a creep! Maybe if he wasn't so disturbing!" Vicki countered but followed with a chuckle.
Sharing a laugh for a few minutes I smiled while gazing at the soft soil on the ground. My boots touched the ground slightly attracted a dry dust on the rim of the soles. In an odd way I couldn't help but grin, it was hilarious in a lot of ways but also really creepy. I lifted my heavy skull to gaze back at Vicki once more and she had a half smirk, she must have thought it was funny too.
"Seriously though what are we going to do about him?" She asked still laughing in the mixture.
"I don't know, nothing?" I responded to her while gazing at the ground.
Her eyes darkened slightly, "Really?"
"Well I don't know he's not doing anything evil..." I whispered while staring at the ground attempting to hide a blush.
She took grasp of my shoulders, "Britney, he's manipulating you and being creepy how is that not evil?"
"That's just because he's different" I defended him even though I didn't believe that myself.
"You're so hopeless, if you liked one of the villains why couldn't you go for one that's decent?" Vicki sighed while scrunching her face, "Like Archie maybe?"
At the mention of his name I looked up at him on the other side of the campsite, he was occupied with stealing something of Maxie's. It was the poor red heads glasses, Maxie chased Archie in a relentless rage. Running away from him with a loud laughter Archie tripped over a rock flat on his face. Maxie let out a chuckle and snagged his glasses back cleaning them after.
"Yes, because the villains are just all about decency!" I giggled at their ridiculous display.
Vicki rolled her eyes, "For once I just wish they wouldn't be so disappointing!"
"All of them except Giovanni, and N maybe" I cocked my head wondering if any of them were actually decent.
She gazed over at Giovanni for a moment, "What about Giovanni then?"
"Are you nuts, he has a son and a life and stuff!" I retorted in a frazzled way, just the suggestion made me feel awkward.
"So does Ghetsis..." Vicki raised a brow at me.
I shook my head in a childish way, "N isn't his biological son, remember? Besides do you honestly think he has something better to do?"
"Probably not, but he's probably scheming right now about doing something weird..." Vicki replied staring across at him as he stood silently gazing at the sky.
"He's really tall..." I blurted out loud.
Vicki retracted her head and stared at me, "Yeah, and that should scare you!"
"A little bit, I've kind of gotten used to it though" I cocked my head innocently at her.
She got off the log and shook her head, "Okay, continue to be crazy."

The night was heavy above the sky and tiny stars twinkled in peace. I heaved a deep breath inwards as the hot air of the fire swelled into my lungs. A crackling sound of burning wood soothed me as I gazed meaningfully into its flames once more. The glow of the bright fire caressed my eyes into a trance, as if I was once again at peace.
Around the fire we all sat on the logs that had been here before, a major feeling of harmony seemed to resonate in the silence. I wished that life could always be so simple, but unfortunately time moved on and things had to happen. Next to me Vicki yawned in deeply, N was also on her left gazing into the black sky. On the other side of me Ghetsis sat too silent for my own liking, his stare fixed on the flames he barely said a word since the morning, which wasn't like him at all.
Cyrus was also entranced in the fire, his expression as always was blank and emotionless. Meanwhile Archie had sat far away from Maxie rather on the opposite side, while Maxie sort of just didn't care. The red haired male conversed with Colress softly, their logical natures seemed to mix well. Giovanni as always relaxed in a short distance from the flames, it was nice to know at least one of them was able to predict. The last was Lysandre, he wasn't too good with getting messy so he simply sat in an awkward way to keep well groomed.
Getting restless from the silence I spoke up, "We should tell scary stories!"
"I could go for some scary stories, I'd rather listen though I don't have anything good to tell" Vicki claimed poking a stick into the fire.
"Oh I want to go first!" Colress declared loudly with excitement, "On a dark a stormy night there was a cabin deep in the darkest woods. In that cabin had been three unsuspecting campers who had been enjoying nature just like us. Little did they know that they were about to be eaten by wolves! Then they got eaten, the end."
Giovanni's face scrunched up in disgust, "That was a terrible story!"
"Well if you're such an expert why don't you tell one?" Colress mocked him obviously offended.
Giovanni leaned closer to the circle and stretched his legs out, "In the middle of the night a young man was returning from his long overworking job. To his surprise there was something amiss as he entered his car, the door creaked open loudly as he saw his documents had been moved to the backseat."
"Wait, is this story about you?" Vicki interrupted him.
"No it's not don't interrupt me! Thinking nothing of it he entered the car and began to drive home. When he got home he prepared his things but when he looked in the mirror he saw the flash of something strange" Giovanni told the story in a blank but ominous way, "It was a stranger with a pale white mask, all the doors had locked and the poor young man couldn't escape. The masked one brought out a large knife and cut up his arms and his face. When he was finished he took all his money, and the young man was doomed to lose everything he ever worked for."
I stared wide eyed at him, "You know that was really good in the beginning but the ending confused me..."
"It makes perfect sense why wouldn't it?" Giovanni glared at me with annoyed eyes.
"Well losing your money is horrible but not really scary..." I explained while cowering in fear of being swatted.
He scoffed at my statement, "Losing your money could be the worst possible thing..."
"She's quite correct, I thought it was ridiculous" Ghetsis poked in after a long time.
I nudged him with a playful elbow, "Why don't you tell one?"
His red eyes glanced down at mine and he smirked, "Alright, if you insist."
I observed him as he closed his eyes for a few moments as if to think of something miraculous. Leaning back he opened his eyes once more and folded his arms behind his neck. I was hoping that his story would be hilarious, knowing how odd he could be. Probably something along the lines of losing his "perfection".
"A very rich and beloved man lived high in a tower that had been constructed just for him, he had everything a man could ever need. This man however was very spoiled, and took things for granted often. The underlings of his castle had known this was true and began to resent him because of his power and overbearing hate" Ghetsis' voice played on like silk as if he knew this story before, "Forming a rebellion they overthrew him, and took everything he had every had. In the peoples jealousy and rage they slashed his arms, and cut his body into scars that would never disappear. In agony his appearance destroyed, and possessions taken the man returned. He took back what belonged to him, his once spoiled demeanor full of hatred and his heart cold. The one who had replaced him he had ripped out his throat and cut up his body just the same, but this time he would have no chance to come back. The whole tower was splattered with blood and dead bodies, from the wrong he was given."
Vicki and I exchanged worried glances, that was far different than what we had expected. My stomach churned from the detail of the blood and bodies, I had no idea he told stories so well. I gazed up at him, his eyes blank and cold, what was he thinking about? I wrapped my arms inward within my body and everyone stayed silent, it was apparent no one wanted to say more.

Authors Notes: can't say much I have to go like right now, but anyway hope you liked it! Ghetsis is apparently good at story telling, who knew?
