The night had passed faster than imagined, it had been the last night camping. Pulling out of my tent with tired eyes I began to notice that it seemed rather barren. Rubbing my eyes once more I glanced around the fuzzy sunrise to see a grizzly bear tearing through a bag left out on the side near a tent. My heart stopped beating as soon as I registered the large creature, its rough brown fur bristled as if to be ready to attack anything. Luckily it hadn't noticed me yet but where was everyone else?

While the bear was busy digging his snout through our trash I gazed around in all directions to search for anyone. As soon as I peered up I was greeted with a Colress clinging to a tree high up in the sky. My eyes widened as he clung on for dear life, he had a huge tear through the bottom of his shirt as if he barely escaped death. Catching sight of me he waved his arms in what seemed to be an attempt to get me to leave, but there was nowhere for me to go without making significant noise. Where was everyone else?

Suddenly I heard footsteps crunching through the forest path on leaves, twigs, and rocks. They must have gone for a walk and were just coming back, it sounded as if it were all of them. I shot my head around looking for anything to warn them but I was frozen with fear, just like Colress hanging high in the tree. The sun beat down lightly and around a sharp corner emerged the entire group of the villains and Vicki. Before they were able to notice the bear it had already reared its ugly head towards them showing its sharp teeth.

N being the gentle one of the group attempting to approach like he did Pokemon, but unfortunately this world was not the same. A huge paw lifted up and I heard a shout call from terrified Vicki, I shut my eyes tight with fear pretending it wasn't there. However a loud hit against the ground made me panic and my eyes shot back open, but it wasn't N. Hit by the beast was Archie in a reckless defensive fury, his body laid out on the grass. Luckily for him it appeared his wound was minor, a light swipe mark that shown claws ripped through his shirt and onto his chest. The thickness of his black jacket must have prevented a severe injury, but now they were all standing close within the bears killing range.

The grizzly bear now more enraged than ever lurked its way over to Vicki this time, she was the smallest and most vulnerable compared to the others. Not able to watch my best friend get torn to shreds my body jolted into action without thinking, I took grasp of a medium sized rock and chucked it. Hitting right onto its eye the bear moaned in a loud roar of pain from the hit and charged straight for me. Its feet pounding furiously against the dirt I froze again until finally something happened.

Smacking into the monsters head was Ghetsis wielding what seemed to be the hunting knife that was brought along just in case. He slammed a stab into the side of the bears flank, only doing enough damage to distract it temporarily. It wasn't long until he was flung back onto the ground by the massive animal, but it was wounded now and hopefully ready to give up. Shaking its long fur it roared again hesitating on its next move, Giovanni not wanting to take crap threw a huge rock onto its paw hurting it intensely.

Giovanni proceeded forward and screamed at the beast with full force, his anger almost out marking the grizzly. The creature still angry gained on Giovanni a few steps, its teeth glowed a horrible white. He backfired against the bear with a booming roar, the grizzly began to back peddle as Giovanni stepped closer throwing fierce punches at its face. Wrinkling its muzzle the bear submitted to his fury and ran back into the forest. I couldn't believe my eyes once the bear had disappeared, the air was dead silent with our stunned faces.

I slowly spoke as I watched Colress slide down from the tree, "T-That was terrifying..."

"The bear is gone now, you have nothing to worry about" Cyrus piped in stating the obvious.

"That's not what I was talking about though, I've never in my entire life heard of a man making a grizzly bear turn tail and run" I stuttered regaining my voice, "I've only ever heard of other animals being able to get lucky like that... We could have died."

Giovanni gazed in my direction with heaving sides, "No Pokemon, no animal will ever best me."

"You're terrifying..." I squealed feeling grateful but afraid.

"What did you think I was?" He addressed me with a cold stare.

My stomach pained and curled into knots, I didn't ever want to see that side of him again. The rest of us had recovered over a slow time, Archie taking the most because of the impact from the hit on his chest. Reluctantly Maxie cleaned and examined the sea lover's wound, his hatred for him plain against his face. I sat down in the middle on the dirt taking a few breaths, it was a difficult thing to take in so suddenly. Once everyone was in the center it was peaceful in a 'I'm so glad I'm alive right now' kind of way.

Giovanni was the first to break the silence, "Who left the garbage out and open on the side of our camp?"

"I told Archie to get it out of here before we went to sleep!" Lysandre yelled in a frazzled way.

Archie's face turned white and he lowered his head, "I forgot about it..."

"You can't just forget about the garbage dumb ass!" Vicki hissed whacking the side of his head, "I was going to start liking you more for saving N but now I hate you again!"

Giovanni's face was turning red from anger, "If I had half a mind I would pound you into the dirt!"

"I'm sorry..." Archie cowered like a puppy.

"You better be because I'm letting you off with a warning, don't do anything that stupid EVER AGAIN!" The mafia mans growl sent chills through everyone.

The forest trees shook from birds fleeing from their trees caused by Giovanni's shout of rage. If I didn't know any better I would have assumed he was the dragon born. Not wanting to get caught in his target range I quickly began to pack my things and fold up the tent. MY head spun from the constant action but it was easy to deal with after a few moments. The rest of our gang began to pack shortly after and Giovanni rested against a tree with his eyes closed, I could have only hoped he was meditating.

Night had crept in once again, the T.V. glared against the huge house windows. Shadows around me loomed covering everything bu the bright screen in darkness, I was too lazy to turn on a light so I just continued to watch. At this time it was 2am in the morning, I was having trouble falling asleep again so I simply pinned myself downstairs. The large house seemed to echo every little shuffle I made underneath the blanket I had brought downstairs, I hoped everyone was asleep still.

Commercials at come on and I almost immediately became bored, I left for the break to grab some snacks from the pantry. Shuffling through the dark kitchen I scanned my hand over the walls to find the light switch. Hitting my leg against a sharp corner I bit down on my lip holding in a squeal, I didn't want to wake anyone up. Finally finding the the switch I flicked it on while holding my leg in one of my arms. My soft pajama pants kept me warm but didn't help the pain, I limped for a tiny bit to regain my strength.

In a quick snap I pulled out a plain bag of chips and a medium sized glass bowl. Pouring the chips into the bowl I also managed to grab some dip to go with it. The only kind of dip was onion, it wasn't really my favorite but it was good enough anyway. When my bowl was all prepared with chips I turned the light back off and scooted my way back to the soft couch. Returning to the T.V. I noticed the channel was changed and I suddenly knew I wasn't alone after all.

"Okay whoever it is I know the channel was changed, come out" I declared at a quiet yet clear tone.

Ghetsis emerged from the side room with a smirk, I wasn't surprised to see him it was probably my first assumption. He sat down next to me as I pulled out the remote to switch to the game system plugged in. I didn't really feel like watching more television with him around it just seemed weird. To my surprise he was pleasantly silent, it was actually nice to have him just sort of there.

Getting up from the blankets I kept half my attention on him to make sure he didn't do anything strange. The man simply leaned back and crunched on a single chip, the chewing was awkwardly loud. Trying not to make things feel weirder than they were I ignored it and put in Silent Hill: Downpour for a good refreshment to jolt my memory. I haven't played it in awhile, and it seemed like the right time as it was very dark and ominous at the moment.

Ghetsis piped up in a soft voice, "A horror game at this hour in the night?"

"Yeah so?" I replied casually plopping back down onto the couch.

"Full of surprises I guess, you're either a thrill seeker or a psychopath" He claimed in a plain tone.

I glared at him awkwardly, "Thanks I guess?"

I continued to watch the screen with controller now in hand. Starting a new game my eyes flicked over the beginning sequence, the first time it gave me chills of joy but now kind of felt like nostalgia. Ghetsis next to me had his gaze fixed on the game as well, I wasn't certain that I ever played this game in front of him before. I remember playing all the others with the rest of the crew, but maybe my mind was just slipping. In the tutorial of killing a man I slashed him to pieces remembering the scene perfectly.

Ghetsis glared at the many things following after, I finished the first 'level' rather quickly without so much as a flinch. Stretching my arms for a second at a cut-scene I gazed over at Ghetsis who had been staring directly at me with his sharp red eyes. The gesture surprised me and I leaped a tiny bit at his staring, how long was he doing that?

"You don't get very scared from these games..." Ghetsis spoke up in observation.

I rolled my eyes playfully, "It's a video game, not real life."

"What if it were real, would that make a difference?" He questioned me with a tired voice.

"I don't know... It's a situation I haven't been in. I guess it would frighten me" I answered wondering what I might actually have done.

The man leaned back further into the couch, "So then why is it any different? It's the same concept."

"Yes but you don't fear for your life in a video game you have infinite lives" I explained as I picked up the controller again, "Besides they don't scare you either."

Ghetsis closed his eyes and spoke, "That's different."

"See it's not any different!" I claimed almost shouting too loud.

"Quiet down, it's because I've actually seen and done horrible things as apposed to only seeing them in video games" He scowled at my assumption.

I swallowed inwards and grasped my controller harder, "Was that story about you? The one you told camping?"

He hesitated for a few moments, "Yes."

Attempting to pretend I didn't hear him I proceeded to play my game. Even though I heard it from his lips I didn't want to believe it, I wanted to pretend he was something my own mind created. Now in a jumpy state I leaped from a monster on the screen, my eyes hurt from watching and I turned it off knowing I saved previously. I couldn't play it anymore I needed to be at peace. Quickly I grabbed the remote and flicked to a channel playing cartoons.

He spoke up once again, "You don't need to be afraid of me."

"I'm not afraid of anyone or anything" I lied to him while curling into my blanket.

"That's a lie and you know it" Ghetsis pulled me closer to him while speaking quietly, "It was only recently you've actually gotten comfortable with me, relax."
