My heart pounded violently at the sound of the words. In a split second I raced over with Vicki to block the situation, but I was too late. The moment I entered the room was in awe at Cyrus pinned to the ground with Giovanni a top of him. In a lapse of judgement I shoved him off of poor Cyrus. Giovanni was barely phased by my weak push, and he rose from the ground with a face of rage.

"I could smash your face through the wall!" Giovanni roared leaving the room in silence.

I comforted Cyrus as he collected his words. "You said you didn't want to leave until later anyway!"

Giovanni screamed, "That's not the point! Do you have any idea what I need to bring back? We could hav-"

"Wait bring back? What do you mean bring back? I thought you said you weren't going to, I actually trusted you!" Vicki interrupted taking the words straight from my mouth.

Aidee piped in, "Wait what? Would one of you mind filling me in on what's going on?"

Suddenly the air was silent, and not a word escaped Giovanni's lips. His stare however remained ruthless, and uncaring. Inside my heart I could feel it breaking apart. Yet he continued to remain cold with not a hint of sympathy. Giovanni truly didn't give two shits about anyone, and by the awkward silence neither did any of the other villains. Vicki full of rage, tears, and pain hugged into my side with her wet eyes rubbing off onto my shoulder.

"We aren't just some guys that they met, let's just say we're a little closer to your worst nightmare." Ghetsis explained knowing that no one else would.

Lysandre jumped up attempting to reassure Aidee. "We aren't all that bad I promise!"

"We're from another universe to which apparently you recognize." Cyrus closed the deal, "A world where instead of animals we have Pokemon, and unfortunately for you we are the evil in that world."

"I can't believe this you lied to all of us!" Aidee shouted in frustration, "Vicki, and Britney you also knew! You knew where they came from, and you kept that from us."

I yelped in defense, "No it's not like that! We just didn't thin-"

"Didn't think what? That we could handle it, or maybe because you don't trust us." Aidee continued with watering eyes.

Just before she could storm away Lysandre gently grabbed her. "Please don't go I'm so sorry."

Aidee ripped his arm away with a snarl. "Don't touch me!"

With that she stomped off; above the staircase you could hear her grabbing her things. As soon as the noises ended we heard footsteps, and then the slam of the front door that echoed through the halls. On the other end I observed as Cyrus reached out blank of any emotion to Michayla, but she recoiled with tears in her eyes. A stare of shock ran across Cyrus' face as she disappeared along with Aidee. The heart breaking emotion radiated off of him. I never once seen him so upset.

"This is all your fault!" Cyrus spoke with a tinge of rage towards Giovanni.

Gritting his teeth Giovanni glared back at Cyrus. "Don't blame your petty relationship on me! I'm the only with any sense, these women getting to your heads like it's more important. Do you not remember what's important? Do you not remember everything we worked fore to get back? Think about all that we learned of the advantages in this world, how much we can take back with us!"

"You were lying," I muttered with disbelief.

Giovanni snapped, "What did you think we were going to do? I needed you safe along with your stupid friend. Otherwise I lost my pretty lie to get me back and forth from this world without a problem. All the times you ran off, and got yourself killed didn't help because I can't have one without the other leaving!"

My heart felt like it dropped down, and shattered. The acidic words burning through me like fire. How could I have been so stupid to believe that they actually changed? He put on a friendly face to make us believe everything was okay. Yet he lied so well I believe so much that he truly didn't want to do the unspeakable. Now it was finished, and because of my stupidity he could do whatever he wanted.

"You're going to stay here, and you're going to help us. No more fooling around with all of this I'm sick of the drama. If you try to leave I will simply lock you away understand?" Giovanni demanded in a sour tone.

No one would dare challenge Giovanni even if they didn't agree. However the room remained unsettled, and I began to believe at least someone would speak up. Fear boiled inside me as nobody, not even Archie would dare question his authority. As my heart pounded violently against my chest I begged for anyone to defend us.

"I don't think so Giovanni," Ghetsis' voice radiated off the walls. "You see Britney here is mine, and I have alternate plans from yours. Unfortunately for you however they aren't that much better, but I insist that you take off those terms, and return to which you came unscathed."

I couldn't believe what I was hearing, Ghetsis challenged Giovanni. Not a hint of fear displayed on his expression, and I realized that this definitely was in Ghetsis' nature. Giovanni gave him a glare of fury, and Ghetsis simply smirked. Not only did this make things worse, but Ghetsis really didn't seem to care about provoking him either. The sheer mocking smile sent shivers down my spine in what he had planned for me.

"You have no right to test me!" Giovanni hissed.

In that moment Archie stepped forward as well. "Listen er' buddy I never really agreed to this."

"Neither did I as much as I despise Archie, he's right." Maxie agreed.

Colress scratched the back of his head nervously before speaking. "I'm all for upgrading our scientific research but this is too far."

Soon after Ghetsis popped in everyone began to speak up against him. We must have changed their minds. I smiled gratefully at all of them as Giovanni's face began to soften. It seemed as much as he would love to bring more profits in, he too had been having doubts. Still frustrated however he grumbled to himself before reproaching us once more.

"You're right I blew up because I was just incredibly upset at Cyrus. However if I can't take advantage of the resources here, I want no part in staying any longer. I want to go home." Giovanni explained in a calmer state.

I sighed unhappily,"I guess I couldn't keep you here forever."

"What do you mean?" Cyrus finally joined in.

"I mean, as much as you can all be unbearable I don't want you to go." I explained as honestly as I could, "You're the coolest guys ever."

Vicki punched my arm, and laughed. "You're terrible at being sappy! She loves Ghetsis, as much as I hate it. Probably Archie too. Honestly I really don't want you to go either."

"We can't stay forever," Cyrus claimed the obvious.

Maxie scratched his neck in thought. "Why not have you guys come with us?"

"I'm sorry what?" Giovanni eyed him.

Maxie raised his arms defensively before explaining himself. "Just hear me out before you make any rash decisions. I would love to have Vicki by my side, and I can tell that if Cyrus, and Lysandre can make amends they could come back too."

Cyrus glared at Maxie with an annoying growl. "No, no, no I will not allow it! That could wreck havoc on the alternate spectrums!"

Colress stopped him with a peppy voice. "Wait now we're here, and everything is fine. The scientific evidence shows that there would be no problem if we took them to our world."

"I guess that is correct," Cyrus sighed with agreement.

Ghetsis spoke smoothly. "Britney comes back with me, no questions."

"Whoa wait a min-" Archie screeched.

Giovanni interrupted them both with a strong tone. "Let them decide what they want to do. Britney, Vicki do you want to come back with us?"

I immediately glanced to Vicki with a worried stare. She returned it with a nervous smile, but ultimately seemed confident about this decision. We could always come back if we didn't want to be there, or even to visit family. Excitement brewed up inside me as I smiled awkwardly at her. I wanted to go so bad, it seemed so much like a thought back then, and now I was certain I would love to go.

Nudging her I began to speak, "I would love to go, I'll start in Unova with Ghetsis. Not that I'm choosing you over Archie, it's just I really want a Tepig!"

Archie grumbled at my choice, but it wasn't a certain decision. I just really wanted to explore all the regions one at a time. Although Ghetsis completely ignored the statement I made, and took it as a victory. Just before Archie could speak Vicki rolled her eyes, and patted him gently.

"Archie don't take offense, trust me she just really wants a Tepig." Vicki whispered into his ear.

Jumping on my heels I made a list out loud. "My favorite region by far is Hoenn though, so that might be where I stay. Vicki are you going?"

Rolling her eyes she nodded, "Yes I'm going with you I wouldn't be a good friend if I didn't. I suppose I'll be going to Hoenn then."

At the note of her mention Maxie cocked his head curiously. He must have thought that meant she would be with him, and made a tiny smile to himself. N didn't exactly like this though, he shifted nervously but decided not to speak against it. As for the other two girls, it was all up to if they could convince them to forgive them. Although I was convinced that Vicki, and I could convince them easy.

Only a few days passed since the argument, and we all decided on leaving early. It didn't take too much to apologize to Aidee, and Michayla, but they were still hesitant about going. They figured they'd give it a chance, but it was Michyala who ultimately made it possible with her excitement at having Pokemon in reality. However unlike Aidee who still very much liked Lysandre, she was much more reluctant and decided she we wander around until she made a decision of what she wanted to do. Cyrus seemed only slightly disappointed, but understood anyway since they hadn't really been too close.

Cyrus turned on the machine, and it flashed a bright swirling white that could blind you. The intimidation of the machine made my heart beat rapidly. However Ghetsis somehow managed to reassure me with a pat on the back. It seemed weird now, we waited all in silence against the brightness in its glow. Unlike how they appeared though we would all arrive in the same place. Cyrus claimed the best vantage point was actually in his own lab, where he messed around with all the likes. Although my suspicions led me to believe otherwise, I had nothing to go off of.

The moment arrived now, and together we stepped through the portal. A fuzziness burned through my body, and I couldn't see. This is it. I couldn't believe I was doing this. Just as I could have backed out I made it, and now we were all here.
